Can I access a web based program that uses a citrix server with the ipad2 -- I currently access this with my laptop but thinking about using the iPad2 for work

Web-based mail program as default for emailing photos?

I'd prefer to use my gmail account to send photos, rather than my Mail account. But the options are only for Mail, Entourage, and AOL, I think.
I can't seem to figure out how to do this any other way than from gmail, click "attach a file" and browse through my directories and select each individual photo. This would be fine, except that the attachments are enormous and I can't figure out how to resize them to a manageable size.
So, to summarize. Is it possible to use a web-based mail program as your iphoto default? If not, how can I shrink the size down to 240X320 or 640X480, or somewhere in that range?

There are programs that allow you to designate a web mail page for the default email program (WebMailer for one). I would guess they should work the same jumping from iPhoto, but don't know how well they'd work at attaching an image since that is usually a process specific to how the page is designed.
Probably, it'd be easiest to leave Mail as the default email app with Gmail set as the default account, for situations like this, and use the regular webmail interface when you're not planning to attach an image if you like that interface more.

Cannot connect to modem's web-based-configuration program

Hello,
I'm trying to connect to my modem's (D-Link DSL-321B) web-based-configuration program by giving its ip-address (192.168.1.1) in a Safari widow. I get the error message "Safari can't open page 192.168.1.1 because the server where the page is located isn't responding".
The modem is connected via ethernet cable to an airport time capsule. The mac is then connect via WiLan. I have tried other web browser programs, rebooted everything, reset the modem, connected the modem to my macbook via ethernet cable and read ALOT of information but I still can't find the solution and get into the menu. BTW, all Mac software is up to date.
I would be really grateful for some help. Thanks in advance.

First of all u tell me why u want to develop web based mail like yahoo or hotmail, If u want to develop for learning purpose then start from today using java mail API. So u should know Java Mail API. and some webbase scripting like JSP and HTML.
Once u start and if any problem then write in forum we will solve.
If u don't want to develop for learning purpose then u buy it.

Unable to access Web based emails with latest version of Firefox

Having downloaded the latest version of Firefox, which I am very impressed with, I am unable to open my web based emails, I get the following message "You have undefined new mails in your inbox".
I have to use Internet exploree to view my emails.
Any way to change this.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Win 7 VPN Client 5.0.07 no longer works properly with Citrix DNE Update

Since Cisco Systems VPN Client does not work properly with mobile broadband on Windows 7, we've been successfully using Citrix's DNE Update to fix this for about 6 months. All of a sudden, machines with the DNE Update stopped working properly over VPN (whether using mobile broadband or not). The only fix is to unbind the DNE Lightweight driver from your network adapters, uninstall the DNE Update and reinstall the VPN Client. However, then you cannot use an aircard with VPN as the DNE Update was the fix.
Symptoms of the VPN issues with DNE Update:
-web pages displaying garbled
-internal web pages not rendering at all
-remote connectivity not working (VNC)
-RDP connects then crashes with data encryption errors
The only change that I can identify on our machines and in our environment would be Windows updates, but I've been unable to identify which one might have caused the problem.
Has anyone encountered this issue and found a fix? Does anyone know of another reliable fix for VPN Client to work with Windows 7 and aircards?
We're looking at moving to another VPN solution but that will take time and we need a more immediate solution.

I'm not posting head end config because the config works with XP
There are no W7 specific parameters with ASA 8.3(2)
Multiple W7 machines have been used to test this.
We are looking at extracting level 15 logs from the client end - I will post if they don''t give an obvious answer.
TAC still not able to resolve this.

How can I add a different web-based email program to use as my default 'mailto:' function?

When I go to Settings -> Applications and click on 'mailto', I see 'Use Yahoo mail, Use Gmail, and Use other...'. I want to use the Go Daddy Workspace Webmail application, which like Yahoo & Gmail, is a web based program, but don't see any way to add that option. The 'Use other...' option is only looking for an executable file and it won't accept a web-based command.

Server Hangs when I tried to Access web Application that deployed in Managed Server

          Hai All!
          Here is my problem ! I started Admin Server and Managed server in a same machine.
          I deployed HttpClusterServlet in web.xml of Managed server. When i started servers
          they start fine and says Clustering started.... But when i tried to Access index.jsp
          that is in Managed Server default web application ..Nothing happens. It neither
          throws exception nor shows the desired page.. Seems to be Browser hang and server
          hang. At this stage i am unable to access Admin console also.(I can access before
          i tried index.jsp of managed server).. It seems to be Hang Allover..
          Pls suggest me how to come out of this hanging...

See my answer to your last post. The short answer is that the HttpClusterServlet is
          likely to be the problem and not the cluster. You can try one of the web server plugins
          or a hardware load balancer as a temporary workaround. You should file a case with
          support too...

Web-based Work flow management programme

I am new to this website. I am currently doing a project on producing a web-based workflow programme. This workflow program should have functions which can make different nodes I should be also to produce arrows to link up these nodes. These nodes should provide information to the user when it is clicked. I was told to use java, java applet and javascript for this project. However, I am not familar with these programmes!!! This project is due be end of the year!! Could any kind souls briefly explain to me the method I am suppose to attempt this project. Thanks alot!!

Using Nightly to access web-based email - Won't allow me to send an attachment - Please Help

I sometimes need to access my email through a browser. When using nightly I have, on several, been unable to send a file attachment. A few minutes ago I got a pop-up that said that nightly was blocking all attachments for security reasons. - The popup disappeared before I was able to read it fully. The attachment was an innocuous document from a standard word processor with no macros or other potentially hazardous content. I do, from time to time, need to send attachments to colleagues using a web-based email interface. How can I get Nightly allow this?

In about:settings please check the list of pop up exceptions under Content. It is also possible to click on the icon next to the url and look at "Page Info". From this menu under Permissions see is pop ups are blocked.
Its a bit hidden, but it can be changed. [[Pop-up blocker settings, exceptions and troubleshooting]]

Firefox 4 works with the Outlook Web App generated by Exchange Server 2010. At least in my limited testing; I use my phone more than OWA.

Web based email program prevents access from email aggregator

Hi all - I'm a fairly new BB user and have a problem that I need some help. I have been using my BB Bold to access my U.S. Army webmail. Recently I received an email from the system saying that access to email by aggregators such as Google mail and Blackberry will not longer be allowed because those systems store usernames and passwords on servers outside the control of the Army. Apparently this is a cyber-security concern.
The webmail will still allow IMAP and POP access so long as the username and password are not stored on external servers (such Microsoft Outlook). I can not figure out a way to configure my BB to do this without storing my username and password on the BIS system. Short of installing a third party application is there any way to access my Army email from my BB without storing my username and password on the BIS system?

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
Nope...BIS is a conduit that pulls from your POP/IMAP account and then pushes new stuff to your BB. If there is nothing to push, it does nothing to interrupt your BB. To do all of that, it must know your credentials for your POP/IMAP service...hence the fact that your ID and password must be stored inside of your BIS configuration. That's how it works.
The only other thing I can think of for you would be the webmail interface -- if they have one, you could use the BB Browser to access that email account rather than go through BIS.

MacBook Air with Mavericks: how do I download a web based Word doc with embedded Word files. At moment I cannot access the embedded files on the web (NHS mail) but can on a PC. Help please.

MacBook Air with Mavericks. I need to download agendas with embedded files. This is through an encrypted email account. My Mac is blocked from even opening the embedded files on line and I can't save any of this to my laptop. It works fine on my PC laptop. Help please. I know this is a problem for other people too, but would love the solution!

Nobody could possibly think anyone would ask for help without first trying to fix the issue oneself. Or maybe you do. I have opened the file and looked under security. I have changed it to owner-notebook (which is what the techs called me) and clicked accept but geepers it didn't work.
Maybe someone else has an idea.

A bug in a web based BW report with BSP frontend

Hi all,
We are facing an issue with a BW report whose front end is designed using a BSP application created in the BW system. This report is accessed from a java based portal which has a link to one of the pages of BSP application.
The report is a list of contract line items for a particular billing partner, which is the selection criterion. On clicking the report link on portal, users are prompted to select the billing partner. Clicking OK on the partner selection displays multiple contract lines with a check box against each. Users select one or more of the contract lines and click on Print Preview which is link to another BSP page that shows the print preview. After viewing the preview, users can select Back to navigate to the previous page which is the report main page.
The issue is that when user selects some contract lines and selects Print Preview for the first time, none of the selected items is displayed in the preview. When the user selects Back, re-selects the items and chooses print preview again then it is displayed correctly.
The same report works fine in the development system but has the above issue in the quality system. We compared each layout and event handler of each page of the BSP application in dev system with its own copy in the quality system. Both seem to be exactly identical.
We have debugged in both the systems to see the control flow and how data is fetched. When control goes from one of the event handlers to the layout, some internal tables seem to get filled. But we could not locate the logic of this as this seemed to happen outside the BSP application.
Can some one throw some light on where the error can possibly be. Or if anyone can provide some guidance on the control flow of BSP application and what other components might be involved, it will be highly appreciated.
