Funny, its not adding my discount for anything.
Ditto.
Also, maybe one of you all know. They only have listed the 16gb for accessories... are the 16 and the 32 the same size?
Might be a dumb question. I just remember back in the day when I had a 80gb iPod and my husband had a 30gb iPod mine was thicker and our cases weren't interchangeable.
I just dont want to buy a case that won't fit. thanks.

  • On a propritary web site I use, I get an error trying to upload a document; in IE I can solve this by adding the site to the list of trusted sites, how do I handle it in Firefox?

    The error message is
    Server Error in '/' Application.
StartIndex cannot be less than zero. Parameter name: startIndex
I can avoid the message in IE by adding the site to the list of trusted sites.
How do I accomplish the same thing in Firefox?

how do i know if anyone's posted an answer, or help?  do i have to keep coming back here to look, see?  or can someone send me an e-mail?  (not sure i would know where to go back to)   thanks.
First, you should be receiving email notifications of any reply; you haven't because there haven't been any. Second, should you be able to access that website? Have you done it before? Occasionally, I've gotten a similar message from websites I frequent but trying later will often clear the problem. Other times, I've gone to websites I really don't have permission to access and the website knows it. Also, you might try another browser, such as Firefox or Opera.
Finally, if you mean the Birchmere Music Hall, I get the same error message, and if Ticketmaster needs to access that website for ticket and event dates, it can't get through either. I'd suggest waiting for whomever handles the Birchmere website to fix it, or call them on the phone.
BTW, it's not a good idea to put your email address out for all to see. If you can still edit the post, delete it.

  • Enterprise Mode for Internet Explorer 11. Difference in how adding a site works.

I am noticing a difference in how adding a site to open in Enterprise Mode works.
When I incorporate a XML file created by the List Manager, containing 'http://mysite/mypath'.   Enterprise mode functions for the entire site.  When I say entire site, I mean pages in virtual directories also open in Enterprise Mode.
This is good.   But I for the time being I would like to put it on my users to approve their sites.
However, if I choose to not use a file and just allow the users to add sites, when they go to 'http://mysite/mypath' then go to Tools and Enterprise Mode to add the site.    We close Internet Explorer, reopen, enter the site 'http://mysite/mypath'
opens in Enterprise Mode.   But when they navigate to pages located in virtual directories, they display in standards mode.   And would need to be added separately by going to Tools -> Enterprise Mode.
I just want to know am I seeing this behavior correctly, or am I possibly missing a step.
Thanks in advance for the response and feedback.

    Hi David,
I am testing in my environment, and I will let you know if we have any result.
    Thanks for your patience.

  • Added new site unable to return to old site

I had a site using my name. I changed a HD in my iMac 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. Opened iWeb to add a new site. Added the site with photographs. When I went to the original site, the new site took its place. I am unable to remove/restore to the old site using the my name.

I changed a HD in my iMac 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.
Did you get the Domain.sites2 file from your User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder on your old HD before changing the drive? That's where your first site would be for iWeb to use. If you didn't get it do you have a backup of the HD so you can get it from that? If not then you've lose your first site and will have to recreate from scratch.
When I went to the original site, the new site took its place.
So you named the new site the same as the old one, correct? That's why it replace the original site. You must name each site differently if you want them to coexist on the server.

  • Safari Keeps Adding Top Sites On It's Own

    Hello,
I have a problem with safari keep on adding top sites on it's own. I've tried resetting it but still no fix.
    Any ideas?

That's the way Top Sites works. Safari automatically places the sites you use most in the Top Sites view. You can permanently mark a site as a Top Site by clicking the Edit button (bottom left corner in Top Sites), then click the thumbtack icon on a particular site. However, unless you fill the entire view with permanent sites, the remaining space will be fluid, depending on what sites you have used most.

  • Trouble adding FTP site

I just got CS5 and when going to add the FTP information, nothing happens. I have added the site name and when I click on the "+" to add the server info, nothing happens at all. Has anyone seen this happen before and found a fix? I am new to CS5, coming from CS3 but the site manager seems to be the exact same. Any suggestions would be great.

The reinstall did the trick. I was just hoping there was a logical reason for that not working such as a step I may have overlooked that is new to CS5. It seemed pretty identical to CS3 but you never know. Thanks for the reply.

  • What are the drawbacks to adding a Site Content Type to the Document Site Column?

I have a client who has enough SharePoint knowledge to be dangerous.
They are requesting that a Column be added to all Document Libraries everywhere.  We built a solution that would require a bit of work when a Site Collection is created, and it would require that we run a script to identify if there are any Libraries
that do not have this Column attached.
This client wants to know why we didn't just add this Column to the default Document Site Content Type.  I don't know specifics as to why that's not a good idea, just that it's not a good idea.
Can anyone point me to a resource that identifies the reasons why this is not recommended?
    Thank you

I'd say there's a risk that patches or upgrades could be affected by this, or overwrite the change.
In the past I've derived a Company specific Document Content Type from the Base Document CT, and added any new company wide columns to that new CT.

  • Adding Secondary Site SCCM2012

I have a Primary Site Setup with general roles and  Distribution Point roles, Reporting services, Software Update point.
Now we have added an another site and need to set up one more site server at site-2.
I need to distribute the software updates of site-2 clients using the new sccm-2 server located in Site-2 by having an Distribution in site-2.
what all the additional roles needs to be setup in site-2.
do I need to install WSUS in site-2 sccm server to push software updates?
And prior installing the secondary Site, do I need to install an SQL server Instance at Sccm2 server?
or the default mssql express edition is enough at site-2 which will be taken care during addition of secondary site wizard?
    Pls clarify
    Raj

Assuming you actually want/need a secondary site:
    - No there is no advantage of using a full SQL instance over SQL Express. Overhead of a full SQL instance would be a disadvantage as its simply not necessary.
    - Correct, clients at the remote site would connect to the WSUS instance at the main location to download/access update metadata. The download of this metadata is (depending upon what you have selected in the catalog) generally around 10MB but after that
it's purely deltas which generally are 500KB per month (the catalog is only updated twice a month by Microsoft).
    - You cannot install reporting services on a secondary site -- is there a specific reason you are wanting to?
Going back to my first statement above, without knowing the details we can't make a definite recommendation, but using a remote distribution point is the preferred method of handling remote locations in ConfigMgr 2012. The primary generator of traffic in
ConfigMgr is content transfer (accounting for at least 90% of traffic typically) thus the only traffic you truly need to worry about (once again typically, there are many factors that can potentially influence this) is content from DPs.

  • Adding new site columns to my issue tracking List, will result in having their Source field as blank inside the Issue content type

I have added an Issue tracking list to my SharePoint team site 2013. Then I wanted to add 5 extra columns to my list . So I did the following:-
    I went to site settings.
Then I added 5 new site columns.
I went back to my list setting, I click on the “Issue” content type, and I added the 5 newly added site columns to my "Issue" content type , using the “Add from existing site or list columns” link as follow:-
And then these columns were added automatically inside the Edit, Create& Display forms.
But since this is the first time I work on such a task , so I want to make sure that I did every thing correctly. Because I am not sure why the 5 newly added site columns will have their source field inside the “Issue” content type as blank , as shown in
the above picture. So does this indicate that there is a problem ? or this is because I have added the 5 newly added site columns to the List content type and not inside the Content type at the site level ?
    Thanks

    Hi,
It’s by design, the Source field means the content type name.
As you said, when we create a new column, if we not attach the column to a content type, then the column would have not the source field option.
However, if you create a new column, then add the column in a content type, the content type would automatically update in the site.
Now, you would see a source content type appear.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Adding a site to a ftp connection

    Hi,
Just upgraded to DW CS4 and in doing so I pressed a wrong
    button...!
I have numerous sites in my site manager window and one I am
working on has reverted to being nothing more than an ftp
connection. This was my fault as I went back into the set-up window
for the site (edit site) and made it an ftp connection only, rather
than a full site with connections to local folders as well as
    remote connections.
Problem is, now on the site manager list the icon has changed
from the folder with the name of the site to the ftp//sitename here
icon and I have no idea how to get it back so I have access to my
    local folder.
    Any help?
    Thanks,
    SunsV

There really isn't any way to go back from that choice.
so- Make a New site definition and pick "site" and not "RDS"
    connection.

  • Adding iweb site to existing site

Apologies for being a complete luddite when it comes to this. I need to jazz up an existing web site. Can I just create a link there to my iweb site? Am I right in assuming there are no hosting fees for iweb? I presume the new site can be as expansive as I wish? Thanks guys.

Am I right in assuming there are no hosting fees for iweb?
iWeb is an app on your machine for creating web pages. Hosting fees are only relevant when you want to put the pages created onto a host, which can be anything from free to expensive, but they have no connection with iWeb as such.

  • Adding trusted sites

In IE we have to add trusted sites in order to use certain web apps. How do I add trusted sites in Firefox? Also, how do I add a site to local intranet? In IE we have to go to local intranet and add our web security appliance IP address or nothing will work. I hate IE and really want to use Firefox instead, but until I can resolve these issues I am stuck with IE.

  • Best way of adding networking site URLs in Address Book?

If I want to add links to friend's MySpace, Facebook, LiveJournal, Blogger, etc. to their Cards in Address Book, is there a good way of doing this?
It appears a Custom label can only be added to an individual card, then has to be re-added to other cards. Is there some way to add it for all cards? Do custom labels cause problems with MobileMe or exporting address cards?
What's the difference between "Home" and "Home Page," which appear as two of the default options for URLs?

Go to Preferences in Address Book.
    Select Template
From Drop Down - Add Field, select URL.
You will see URL appear in the template below with tiny up/down arrow. Click on that and add Custom name.
