Accessory: Belkin Keyboard doesn't work with latest iOS update

Hello,
does anybody know how to synchronize my Belkin bluetooth keyboard with the iPad? Usually what I have to do is only to connect the magnet on the accessory and turn on my iPad's Bluetooth and it synchronizes itself. So when I type something on the keyboard, iPad does realize that I am using an external keyboard hence, I am using the keyboard.
now, when I connect the magnet on the keyboard, and i type in something, iPad does not recognize this. does anybody have the same problem or know how to fix this?
Message was edited by: Zhinbei. The problem is solved. I had to re-pair the keyboard with the iPad by press and hold Fn + Pair buttons for 2 seconds until it appears.

Try repairing permissions with Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility.
There select First Aid. After that select the hard drive within Disk Utility's window. Finally click on the button that says Repair Permissions. A reboot may be necessary to finish the work when it is done.
Ignore any errors reported.

I update MacOS 10.6.7 with latest security update and my wirelles keyboard is connected, but keys not work, capslock light doesn't change. I try charge battery, then I replace new battery, but it has no effect. I connect keyboard to another Mac with Leopard system and there's no problem... There's some solution? Thanks

Apple TV Gen 2 - "sleep shortcut" doesn't work with latest software update.

I used to be able to hold down the "select" button when on the Apple TV home menu, and the box would go to sleep. However, after the last software update, this no longer works. The only way to put the box to sleep is to head through the settings menu. This is annoying and time consuming. Any ideas why the shortcut was disabled? Is there something new? Any plans to fix the "bug"?

Same happening to my iphone no wifi or bluetooth since latest update tryed everything reset restore reset back to factory setting all to no avail phoned apple they want 155 pound for a replacement (cheeky #$%/$$#@) when everyone knows its there fault .i read phone may need new wifi chip if its out of warrenty cheaper to take to local phone doctor

Keyboard doesn't work with Emulator applications, Nestopia, bsnes, etc.

I have a PowerPC G5 with a usb keyboard that was shipped with the computer. The keyboard works fine with everything else except various nintendo game emulators. I have researched the problem and no one seems to have the same issue. The only keys that work are the function keys that affect dashboard and spaces. I have tried adjusting the configurations and have also tried using a different keyboard... still nothing. It must be something on the operating system's side.
Is there some kind of block as to why these particular applications are not responding to my keyboard?
Any advice would be helpful

I understand that you are having issues with keyboard shortcuts with a custom keyboard layout.
I also understand that when you press the shortcuts that the menu blinks like it is working, but nothing actually happens.

Display doesn't work after latest security update

I have three Apple displays with my MacPro, and after installing the latest security update, one of them just stopped working.
The status light is still on, and my usb devices connected still function, but I have a black screen and nothing is recognized in the displays system preferences.
Anyone else experience this? Did my display just die?

FWIW:
My 7-year-old 22” Cinema Display, on a 10.4.11 machine, with nearly constant use, now becomes so dim during the screen saver mode that regardless of which saver I use, it becomes no longer visible.
As soon as the screen saver is activated, I have full brightness (though not as bright as when the display was new), then it gradually fades until the screen is all black.
Upon awaking, the screen is very dim, and then, over a 90 second period, it slowly returns to normal brightness.
1. The brightness control is set to max.
2. I have toggled the brightness control and changed screen savers, both to no avail.
3. Recalibrating the display did not work.
This seems to have occurred on the same day I installed the latest Apple Security Updater.

Problems with latest ios update today 7.0.6

I tried to update latest ios 7.0.6 today and ph is now frozen...when I turn off it comes back on showing to plug into itunes...when I do that, itunes says it detected ph in recovery mode & ph must be restored before it can be used with itunes....when I click on restore button it goes through a 15 -20 minute process and then basically says the same thing again.
I can't turn the ph off nor can I use it in current state keeps showing to plug into itunes...

if the same issue occurs id unplug from cpu > turn off and back on then plug into cpu and hold both lock and home button at same time until the itunes smbol with plug appears again and then try to restore again

Keyboard, Trackpad and USB on Mac Air not working with latest OS update

My 2009 Mac Air after the last OS update, the only thing that seems to work now is the power button. The USB port, Keyboard and trackpad all dead. Help!

Keyboard repeating not working with latest update for mac?

I just updated my Macbook Pro with a new version of Yosemite and i have come to find that the keyboard repeating function is not working anymore, even with the command: defaults write -g ApplePressAndHoldEnabled -bool false
in terminal.
Is there anyway to resolve this? I find the other character extremely annoying that they always pop up

The repeating function you want has been off by default since 10.7 was released 3 years ago. That terminal command should normally do the trick. Did you logout and login again?

Ipod touch doesn't work with latest itunes install

Ok, I've been around the block too many times. Somebody, pleez help! I have a 3rd generation ipod touch. Couldn't connect to itunes (previous install for our nano and classic). Uninstalled it. Downloaded fresh, latest, 64bit installation. Tons of problems with Apple Application Support. Uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled EVERYTHING (Quicktime, Bonjour, updater, etc.) Used Windows uninstaller and registry cleaner. Reinstalled - iTunes works. Great. Now I connect my iTouch and it says it needs iTunes 64bit to run it. I installed 64bit. What now?

In iTunes, with the Touch connected, go "Help > Run diagnostics." Uncheck "Network Connectivity tests" and "DVD/CD tests" but leave the other boxes checked. Click "next" and then "next" again. Paste the contents of your diagnostics into a reply here so we can have a look.

CD Eject Doesn't work with latest upgarde to OS 10.4.9

Is anyone else having this problem?
I have two hard drives on my Mac, and for the longest time was not able to eject a CD using the eject button on the keyboard, or from the menu.
Today I booted from the OS on the other hard drive (10.3.7, I think) and it worked fine. I ugraded that system to 10.4.9, and now the eject key isn't working.
Is this a bug in the latest upgrade? If so, any solutions?

You could always use the Eject menu. To activate it open…
/System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/Eject.menu
… just the once and you'll find it in the menubar.

[SOLVED]bbswitch doesn't work with latest kernel(3.2.11.1)

And due to that, my graphics card Nvidia is always draining power and heating up. How can I fix this?
UPDATE:
The only urgent fix for this is to downgrade to linux kernel 3.2.9.1.
But, I don't like this fix as I installed arch linux because I want to use the latest software.

HTTPService.headers doesn't work with latest Player

Or maybe I'm messing something up, but I can't get any headers I set to transmit in a web app, but the same code works fine in an Air app.

Seven: like you, I can reproduce this in FB 4 and player version 10. It appears that the *only* "workaround" is to use http://code.google.com/p/as3httpclient/ (or a similar solution, basically, opening a Socket directly and talking HTTP to it yourself). That's what I am doing currently.

LastPass password manager doesn't work with latest Firefox after downloading add-in, installing it and re-starting Firefox.

I'm using FireFox 20.0. I downloaded the add-in, installed it and re-started FireFox but LastPass doesn't show up in the add-ins nor does it fill in the login info on sites that I have in my LastPass vault.

What I've done is make LastPass my home site so when I launch FireFox, I log into LastPass and leave the LastPass vault page in an open tab. Then when I log into another site which requires a login and password which I've previously set up in LastPass, LastPass logs me into that site automatically. LastPass is a free password manager that works well in IE. Any time LastPass detects a login page, it enables you to set up the password and ID in its database and fills in the login info at future login prompts. My solution for FireFox is a bit clunky but when I need to use a second browser, it works.

The microsoft on-screen keyboard doesn't work with firefox. I try to enter type and it jumps around the page. I can't select anything on drop down lists.

I tend to use the on-screen keyboard. For about two months I've been unable to type text in firefox. I can't use dropdown boxes. I have to text to notepad then copy and paste it. I realize this is hardly a critical issue but I've loved using firefox for years and am considering going to another browser if I can't resolve this.
