Accident Picture on Accident Report

Dear Frndz
I want to have a accident picture on accident report using WWI.
I have this picture as DMS document in User Defined Text Docuemnst section of Incident Accidnet Log, How to create a symbol for this to get that picture on fina lreport.
Same thing I have done it without WWI, by using smart form, it is very mcuh possible, but with WWI how we can make it possible.
Waiting for ur answers.
Thanks and Regards.
Mandar Sathe.

In spro go to Basic settings and tools for report definition.  under report symbols you get specify report symbol groups.  there you need to define it.  Copy group 11 and customise the foreing key-function module: C12N_DEFAULT_PARAM_INCAFFPERS
This would enable you to convert fields to symbols.

  • EHS - Synchronization error when trying to generate WWI accident report

    Dear all,
    I have a problem with WWI accident reports. I have created an accident report template (from the example SOP template), released the template and assigned a generation variant to it. When I try to generate the accident report from CBIH82 Edit Incident/Accident Log, and select "Report Information System" from the menu, I can see the report tree and the report. When I click the report (paper and glass) icon, I see the "Maintain Object Keys" box. The "Person affect..." field is blank; though the input help icon is present, on clicking it, I get the message "No input help available". On clicking OK, I get the error message "Synchronization Failure. Please try to call WWI again."
    If anyone knows about this error, could you please enlighten me how to get out of it.
    I do not have a problem with the reports linked to specifications, like the MSDS. They are displayed correctly on clicking the report in the report tree.
    Thank you and Regards,
    Mohan.

    Hello Mohan,
    I am also getting this error with the WWI gen server when I try to see any report in CVD1 transaction.
    Though when I switched the WWI server from 'Service' to 'Console', the problem was solved. I am still working on it to get it working when I run the Gen server as 'Windows service' and not 'Console'. Let me know If you find any lead here.
    Thanks,

  • NI Requirements Gateway - How to add picture to the Report?

    This question not related to LabVIEW, but I unable to find best place, sorry. If more suitable place exist - please let me know.
    The question about pictures in the requrement spec.
    In NIRG in standard Word example I added picture to the requirement:
    But when Requirement Detail View created (Reports->Library Reports->Requirements Detail View), then is appear without my picture:
    I was sure, that the text transferred from Word doc to the Report as Rich text and should include pictures as well, but seems to be not.
    How can I get generated report with pictures?
    Thank you.

    Well, finally got it. Just manually added the following lines to the *.types file:
    Variable1Name=withImages
    Variable1Label=With images
    Variable1Type=boolean
    Variable2Name=withCharacterStyles
    Variable2Label=With Character styles
    Variable2Type=boolean
    Variable3Name=withBookmarks
    Variable3Label=With Bookmarks
    Variable3Type=boolean
    Variable4Name=withAnnotations
    Variable4Label=With Annotations
    Variable4Type=boolean
    Variable5Name=tabCellsFolding
    Variable5Label=One Cell Per Line
    Variable5Type=boolean
    (They taken from Reference Attribute and Filter example)
    Now I have pictures in my report:
    Strange that these variables aren't available by default when Word type is selected (user manual assumed that they should be there), but anyway trick with manual modification *.types file does the job.
    Another way to get this - just copy/paste Maturity Level type from Reference Attribute and Filter example - this also works.

  • How to send a picture to a report(rdlc) in a reportviewer?

    Hello everyone,
    I've troubles with sending a picture/image to my report.rdlc.
    My report works great with the rest.
    The code to send the data is what i have is example.:
    parameters(0) = New Microsoft.Reporting.WinForms.ReportParameter("ParameterName", Form1.rptlbl0.ToString)
    But how do i send a image what is saved to a report, this image changes every time whats saved.
    Can anybody help, ps sorry for my bad english i'm from holland.

    Parameters can only be text, you can't send binary data as a parameter. You have two primary options:
    -- Have your images stored externally, perhaps on a web server or on a local filesystem. Then pass in as a parameter which image you want to use, and set that as the value for an Image ReportItem in your report. The Image ReportItem will need to have its Source set to "External" and your ReportViewer's report object will need to have EnableExternalImages set to true.
    -- Embed all the images you want to use into the report itself. When the report is focused in VS, go to the Report menu, then select "Embedded Images..." In this dialog, embed all the images you need, and give them all names. Then much like above, set an Image ReportItem's value to the name of the image. Since the images are actually embedded in the report, your report will become larger.

  • TABULAR BLOCK WITH PICTURES BELOW IN REPORTS 10G

    I have a requirement to create a tablular report that usually holds 4 to 5 line items. Each line item has a picture that i must put at the bottom of the tabular block and the pictures need to be horizontal as they correspond to the items in the tab block. i have been trying to create two queries then link them, then create two Report Blocks, but the second block always says it's below the group level. any thoughts?
    thank you,
    steven

    I have had this sort of problem before and I have just had to play around with the sizes of my margins and repeating frames and the elasticities until I finally get it to work the way I want. I think for your case I would start by setting the Main margin the same size as the page then leave the horizontal elasticity set to Fixed and the Vertical to Expand. Then for my main Repeating Frame I think I would set it up the exact same way as the Main margin but change the Page Break After property to Yes and leave the Page Break Before to No. Then for any additional repeating frames within that repeating frame I would try to set the width in such a way that I could leave it as Fixed and set the Vertical Elasticity to expand so that it only grows if I couldn't leave it as fixed. For those additional repeating frames I would leave the Page Breaks set to No for Before and After. If that doesn't work... you will probably just have to mess with the properties until it does. Oracle Reports is a nasty little bugger that is very tempermental as you are probably aware of.

  • View employee picture in a report

    Hi,
    Is there anyway to view the employee picture in a concurrent request?
    SELECT PPF.person_id,PI.IMAGE_ID,PI.IMAGE
    FROM PER_IMAGES PI, PER_PEOPLE_F PPF
    WHERE PI.table_name = 'PER_PEOPLE_F'
    AND PI.parent_id = PPF.person_id
    AND PPF.person_id = :pers_idwhen i supmitted the concurent request it gives me warning, and when i attach it to .rtf template it gives me an error says:
    REP-1295: Data format of column 'IMAGE' is unsupportedanyone tried the same and was successful?
    Thanks

    I don't think you can do that in a concurrent request Report.
    Have you considered re-writing your report in XML Publisher? It's possible to do it with XML Publisher - see:
    http://blogs.oracle.com/xmlpublisher/entry/blob_clob_raw_and_looooong
    You might hit problems if you're using 11i though: per_images stores images with the obsolete LONG RAW datatype. In r12 it's a regular BLOB so that should be fine.

    Hi,
    Put an image field in your report, then change the image’s Graphic Location:
    right click the image, select Format Graphic, select Picture tab, click the conditional-formula button that look like a x2 and set the formula’s text to
    the name of the formula or parameter field that will contain the image’s URL.
    Save the formula and click the OK button. Save the report and test it.
    Be carefull with the size of the image field. If this size is not equal to the image itself it could get resized.

  • Add picture to word report and text

    is there a way to add multiple images and place text under them using the report generation toolkit?

    x2xf,
    Do you mean more than just appending an image to a report? If not, there is a vi for just that function.

  • Upload picture in a report/form

    Hello,
    I have a list of products and want to upload a picture to each entry. Is there a possibility to create an upload button? How can I save the picture in my table?
    Thank you in advance for your help.
    Stöfran

    Yes, you can create a 'File Browse...' page item which handles the upload process. It's in the list alongside text fields etc.
    Unfortunately, theres a bit of work involved in pulling the uploaded file from an internal APEX table and moving it into where you ultimately want it, but this is well documented on the forum.
    Hope that helps

  • Picture not shown in report when user not logged on.

    Scenario (also described in thread: http://technet.oracle.com:89/ubb/Forum81/HTML/000726.html)
    I create a table mypics:
    title varchar2(100), mypic varchar2(100). I create a Portal form that uses file upload on mypic. The form will put the picture into some table...
    I then create a report with the following sql:
    select title,
    '[IMG SRC="'| | decode(MYPIC, '', PORTAL30.wwctx_api.get_image_path | | 'noimg.jpg',
    owa_util.get_cgi_env('DOC_ACCESS_PATH') | | '/' | | MYPIC) | |'"]' MYPIC
    from SCOTT.mypics
    (replace [] with <>)
    The report do not show the picture if the report is added as a component in a content area, and the user is not logged on.
    (Workarounds are to use portal pages instead i think).
    But still, the problem probably has to do with some granting ?

    Hi,
    If this is the case, then first of all you have to make your objects language dependant. Then load the data for English (If you have), German etc with 0LANGU as the key of the object.
    Then only you can view the descriptions/names/texts etc. in the various languages.
    Hope this helps.
