Accidentally installed Developer version trying to get real version of bb 10.3
Hello,
So i was getting a bit fed up with waiting for the bb 10.3 update. I still was unable to get it.
I searched online and found a link from blackberry for the update. I wasn't paying much attention and downloaded and installed the Developers version. Most of the things on the phone no longer work. I also can not detect nor use my memory card. Memory card keeps saying that it fails to install drivers.
I have tried using Sachesi to autoload the new version of bb 10.3 however i keep getting an error saying that the operating system is for a different device.

How can i uninstall or override the developer mode version of the operating system? I have tried to do factory reboots and restores of previous backups but nothing has been working.
If this keeps up and I can't find a solution i may just toss the phone in the trash and get a new one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated because i am getting to the end of my patience. and yes, i realize this is my own fault but I still need some help.

SAP Definition:
Using a simulation version, you can run through a planning alternative without changing the data in the planning version. You can test different planning alternatives using different simulation versions.

I followed your instructions and un-installed CS6. By installing from cd i'll got the message that my serialnumber is invalid. It is the same serial number as shown in my adobe and on the receipt. What to do?

1. I would advise you to please go to
2. Applicatoins>utilities>Adobe Installers
3. Try to find if there is any uninstaller for the CS6.
4. If you find the uninstaller then simply uninstall the application and then reinstall it.

Firefox new install on XP, problems trying to get same-version-Firefox old W2K profile to run.
I'm moving from a W2KproSP4 (Win2000, Windows 2000) machine to an XPproSP3 (WinXP) machine. I was running AVG 9.0 and Firefox 3.6.7 with FireFTP, NoScript, WOT, and screengrabber(?). I installed Firefox on the XP machine, launched it to create a profile, and closed it. I copied the old profile folder contents into the new one.
On launch: "Malformed file" "Firefox could not install this item because "install.rdf" (provided by the item) is not well-formed or does not exist. Please contact the author about this problem." (This error disappears in Firefox Safe Mode.) Install.rdf is on the old drive at \Program Files\AVG\AVG9\Firefox.
"alert" "Could not initialize the application's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in your application's profile directory."
When I click on Tools/Addons, "An error occurred during a connection to services.addons.mozilla.org:443. Can't connect securely because the SSL protocol has been disabled."
I tried uninstalling AVG and Firefox and installing Firefox first. (That helped me with Link Scanner related non-launch on another XP machine.) Depending on which combination of old & new profile files I have, I get some combination of the above 3 errors and not launching at all. (It may show for about 1 second in Task Manager, then quit.)
P.S. I am posting this from my old W98SE machine, running Firefox 2.0 since it won't launch anything newer. I never did solve that mystery.

I'm proceeding more cautiously now, and trying to get my most crucial info back one step at a time. The situation seemed to be getting worse, so I fell back a ways for a fresh swing at it:
I just restored to a Ghost of the XP before I installed Firefox, uninstalled AVG, and installed the same version of Firefox (3.6.7) as my old computer had. The W2K's old drive is slaved to my new HD, so I have access to the old files in (what is now) H:.
I tried to restore bookmarks-2010-07-24.json from my old bookmarkbackups directory and got "unable to process backup file". (I also tried copying several files to the bookmarkbackups dir and restoring from there, but got the same error message.) Help>TroubleshootingInfo confirms the current profile folder, and the copied JSONs were seen by OrganizeBookmarks>Import-and-Backup>Restore.
Then I copied places.sqlite from the old profile to the new one, but Firefox doesn't see my bookmarks. When I backup bookmarks to my desktop, I get a zero length .JSON file. Is there a trick to making places.sqlite active?
BTW, yes, I've tried to update the Firefox version 2.0 on the W98SE, most recently to 2.0.0.20, but whenever I do, it runs invisibly (is present in Program Manager but doesn't display the window.) I have to uninstall and reinstall 2.0 to have a working Firefox on this beast. Thanks for noticing. That's another topic, tho. -
Last time I opened ITunes, was told I did not have latest version and proceeded to download new version. As it was loaded, keep getting message that Apple Mobile Devices failed to start, verify that I have sufficient privileges to start system services. I am the only user on the computer and in household. I have tried installing several timees and keep getting same message.

This section contains information that might help your situation, as the order and manner which you uninstall has an effect on the outcome:

Important: Uninstalling these components in a different order, or only uninstalling some of these components may have unintended affects.
Let us know if following that article and uninstalling those components in that order helped the situation.

I have Yahoo mail. I got an email that they are upgrading site.so I tried to get the new version. When I did they gave me a message that i needed Safari 5. When I went to Safari to download it on my ipad it was grey. I am afraid I will not be able to access my email. What should I do?
You can set up your Yahoo mail account in Settings. Once you've filled out the information, you can access your mail via the Mail app on the iPad, instead of via Safari.

I need only After Effects for class, but I don't want to buy a whole CC membership just to get one program. I already have most of the programs included in the CC anyway, just the student versions of them, and they're CS6, but that doesn't really bother me. My question is, what are my options to get my hands on After Effects?? I need to figure out something by Wednesday, when I have class next. Thanks!

I am trying to install a registered copy of Photoshop Lightroom that I never installed on my Apple iMac with software version 10.10.

How can I solve this problemActually when LR 5 starts for the first time after it is installed it will have a dialog to Buy, Try or Enter a serial number. You select Enter a serial number and enter the LR 5 serial number first and then because it is an upgrade serial number it will ask for the serial number of a Previous version. You then enter the LR 1 serial number.

You run Windows in Parallels or Fusion. Then in Windows you install the program.

I have a new computer running os10.9. my old computer ran cs5.5(upgrade version). I am trying to get CS5.5onto my new computer. when i load cs5.5 towards the end of the install it asks for the cs5.5 serial number. i put that in and everything is accepted but then it asks for a serial number for a full version of a product which men is design premium cs3 but it doesn't give me that product as a choice from the drop down menu. it only gives me adobe master collection cs3. why when i have purchased all these different upgrades can i now not use them and how can i sort this out. i need cs5.5 on my new computer.

When trying to install ITunes I get: The version of this file is not compatible...
I've been trying to install a new version of ITunes on my computer for over a month now with no luck. Here's the message I get every time: "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32bit) or 64 (64 bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."
I had the previous version of ITunes on my system and it was working fine, except that is was having an issue with my DVD burner. It was a real bear to remove from my computer in order to upgrade. Now I can't get any version of ITunes to install. :-(
I am running an AMD Phenom IIX4 965 Processor, 64-bit Operating System. The original computer OS was Windows XP Professional 32-bit. I upgraded to Windows 7 Professional 64-bit over a year ago and didn't have any trouble with it until this last attempted update. Help!I have the exact same problem as well. I've been having this since I tried installing the 3.0 drivers for Bootcamp drivers. The 2.2 drivers worked perfect, and I wasn't getting this error. I'm pretty sure It's something in the drivers as well, but nailing it would be very hard. It also doesn't appear to happen to everyone with similar spec'd Macs either. It's weird. Hi, original poster here. I did not realize this would generate more discussion so I never checked back. I still had my warranty, so I took it to the store and got it repaired. The original problem I had was a screen with this icon flashing when I attempted to boot it up:
When I took it to the store, they told me that my computer was unable to communicate with the hard drive. I had this same problem three times in two months where this screen reappeared. Each time I went back to the store and they said the cause was different, but they were all hardware issues that physically made it impossible to communicate with the hard drive. After the third time, they simply replaced my laptop and I haven't had the same problem.
So in short: The reason you can't reinstall or move anything when you encounter this screen appears to be because nothing can communicate with the hard drive in the first place. You can't reach the disk or anything on it. So I don't believe it's possible to do anything besides take it to a physical store and have it fixed. -
In trying to install a Flash update on my Mac (version 10.7.5), I'm getting an "unable to install metafile" message after initialization starts (at the 25% point)—regardless of the site from which I download the installation folder.
Hello everybody, good news: after upgrading to Mountain Lion 10.8.5 I've been able to run the installer and all went fine.
Mountain Lion allows user to force execution through the context-menu (CTRL-click) Open command and it does work, just that simple.
So my advice is: if you want to install or re-install Flash Builder 4.6 on a Mac with Lion installed, upgrade to Mountain Lion or better to avoid problems.
Apple introduced some (not all) Gatekeeper functionalities in 10.7.3 and following, but apparently you need a full-fledged 10.8 to have also what you need to circumvent a Revoked Certificate error.
Since usually OS X has auto updating active, if you are running Lion you end up with 10.7.5 and won't install FB46. If you manage somehow to hold 10.7.2 I suppose you should be able to install FB46, sincerely I didn't check it out. Anyway it's simpler and safer to move on to 10.8.x.
