Accidentally uninstalled YouCam now computer doesn't recognize the camera
Accidentally uninstalled YouCam and now the computer can't find the camera. No driver can be installed because it doesn't recognize the camera. Can't put YouCam back on either. Tryed even puting an external camera on and and can't seem to get the DVD working
Please identify your notebook/pc .
Look at the base/rear/side of the notebook/pc at the barcoded sticker.

Post the installed operating system version ( and whether it is 32 or 64-bit ) and whether the CPU is an AMD or Intel product.

Is your notebook/PC still within its warranty period?

I was in the process of restoring my ipad and an issue came up with itunes and it had to close. I reopened itunes but now my computer doesn't recognize the ipad as anything plugged in to my computer. I am unable to complete the restore process.

I downloaded 2 cds onto my ipod nano through itunes. Recently my itunes account changed for some unknown reason and now it doesn't recognize the songs from the cds. The songs are still on my ipod. I am affraid to sync now because the songs may be deleated, and I don't have the cds anymore. How can I transfer the songs from the cds on my ipod back to itunes so that I don't lose them?
What you have on your computer is your iTunes library, not your "account." The "account" you have for iTunes is your Apple ID, which you use when purchasing or downloading from the iTunes Store. If these songs came from music CDs that you imported into iTunes, those songs are not related to your Apple ID.

How are they not "recognized"? Are the songs still listed in your iTunes music library, but grayed out? They no longer appear in your iTunes library at all?
If you search your computer (not in iTunes) for the song files, using one of the song names, can you find the song files? -
Why Photoshop doesn't recognize the Camera Raw modifications ?

I'have passed to Yosemite few day ago reinstalling all the CS6 suite, but now when I open an elaborated photo from Camera Raw to Photoshop, I can't see any modifications: it's seems that Photoshop doesn't recognize the Camera Raw modifications.
Someone could help me ?Couple of things:
1. That's not what Photoshop does. It's not an image manager, it's a file editor. So, you can set Photoshop to start when you connect your camera but it will stat and nothing will happen.
2. You need to decide how you want to manage your photos. You can do this with iPhoto, the Finder or something else. Which ever you decide let us know and we can help you set that up. -
Just installed iTunes 10.6.3 and now the computer doesn't recognize the CD-ROM drivers
I've had iTunes previously on Windows 7, but because I had it on my computer, the computer would not recognize my CD-ROM drivers, so I uninstalled it. I just downloaded iTunes again, and the same problem is happening again. Is there any way I can keep iTunes and get my drivers working?

I just experienced this exact same issue with my early 2011 15" macbook pro. Since like a month after purchasing it I had issues with the screen randomly going dark on me. I sent it in for repair inder waranty they replaced the gpu and logic board but I continued to have the same issues with the screen randomly going black sometimes I would need to reboot it in order to get the screen to go back on but it happened so infrequently and I used the computer for school so disnt find the time to resend it in to apple. Just last night the screen started to display the blue screen with black verticle lines on it. I called apple and explained to them the issues that had been ongoing since I purchased the laptop but they said because I was now outside of warantee that any repairs at thia point wouldn't be covered. Fml so glad I spent 2200 on this future proof macbook pro what a joke my sister purchased a toshiba laptop for 300 4 years ago and it still running like a champ. I loved my macbook but at the price I paid I expect it to last longer than 2 years before leaving me high and dry. *** apple??

My IPad 2 doesn't recognize the camera connection kit
My ipad2 does nit recognize my camera connection kit. Actually the kit is recognized but when I put the chip or plug in the USB camera cable nothing happens. I'm using a Sony Dsc-Tx10 camera. It worked before but now it doesn't. Please help. I'm trying to upload my pictures to my iPad.

JosieCheck it to make sure the card and tray are free of dirt or dust. (You can blow into the empty slot to clean out any dust.)
Put the SIM card back in the tray, and slide the tray back into the slot. -
I use iWork Pages '09 to create my images. I normally drag and drop photos from iPhoto directly to Pages.
With iPhoto 9.4.3 I now get an error: " The media can't be used because you don't have access privileges or because it has no content or is corrupt". This doesn't happen with every photo from the same event and doesn't get corrected after running 'Repar Permissions'. I can Export to desktop then drag to Pages but that is stupid. This looks like previews of some of your photos are missing or corrupted. Did you run a cleaning application, like "clean my mac" or move your iPhoto Library? Where do you store your iPhoto Library?
I'd try to repair the database or rebuild the iPhoto Library in addition to repairing permissions with the iPhoto Library First Aid Tools. Launch iPhoto with the command and options-key ⌥⌘ held down at the same time to get to the First Aid Tools.
Back up the iPhoto Library before you try rebuilding.

Help - My computer doesn't recognize the ipod nano
I bought a new 4GB nano yesterday. I plugged it in and charged it with the USB. It does not show up on itunes and I can't eject it. My 2GB nano works fine. Am I doing something wrong or is there something wrong with the nano? Thanks.
I got a new nano 4GB for my son. It shows up on I tunes with a padlock symbol at bottom of screen. I can't do anything with it on I tunes. I have a shuffle and any music from that transfers onto the Nano. He can here music through the Nano but can do nothing on the I tunes page.

Generally speaking, you cannot delete an iCloud account or any Apple ID, only disconnect from it and abandon using it. -
Computer doesn't recognize my Zen Mozaic
I have a new Zen Mozaic MP3 player (about 2 months old). I have been using Windows Media player to transfer music from my PC (XP OS) to the player without any problems until now.
Now my computer doesn't recognize the MP3 player as being connected to the USB port. I uninstalled the Creative software that came with the player and then reinstalled and it didn't fix the problem. Also I've tried connecting other flash dri'ves and the computer recognizes them.... Also, shutting down and restarting the PC didn't help either.
Is anybody having this same issue?

My computer doesn't recognize my iphone as a device
My iPhone 4S is full and I don't want to buy more storage. I am trying to move the photos on my iPhone to my PC (Windows 7) but when I use my USB cable to connect the two devices, my computer doesn't recognize the iPhone as a device under "Hardware and Sound." It does, however, realize that it's connected to iPhone when I dig around in the Control Panel tab. iTunes thinks I need to reconfigure my phone (sorry, not an option, iTunes!). Help!?!
Have you tried connecting to other USB port?
Once connected, an "autoplay" windows dialog box will appear asking "XXXX iPhone" import pictures and video, open device to view files, etc.
You can select either or to copy photos manually you can go to my computer and under portable device will show your iphone and go into to see all your photos and videos.
