Accidentally deleted a song I already purchased a while ago

I accidentally deleted 2-3 songs I purchased over the summer from my computer. Is there a way on Itunes to redownload previous purchases without paying for them again? Thank you.

How come it's not the same with music purchasing?
Because Apple pays the music copyright holders a royalty each time a song, including a free single, is downloaded from the iTunes Store. You can sometimes get one free redownload request granted by using _*this form*_, but never more than one.
good luck !

You're looking in your Purchase History?
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2727
If so and you don't see the purchase there, and you're sure your looking in the account through which you purchased the audiobook (and are sure you bought it from the iTunes Store, not from audible.com or some other site), go here:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. If the audiobook didn't download, they can help, and they may be able to send you another copy of the receipt.

I guess the question is how can I listen to all my songs that i bought from my two computers if i want to listen to all of them in one computer. I don't have a network.  Is there a web base site I can do that? or anything else?
    Please help
Songs that you purchase from the iTunes Store are simply files.  They only sit on the computer where you purchase them, until you copy them to another computer.
That is how it works.  There is no web site where you can play all your files.  It's primitive I know, but there may be changes coming.

after perusing other subjects with playback issues:
    this is the fix:
-Launch Control Panel - Double click Quicktime, If you do not see quicktime, look on the top left side of control panel and switch to classic view. This will then allow you to see Quicktime.
-Now click the advanced tab and click on Safe Mode GDI Only, Apply, then ok.

  • Download icon songs I already purchased

Why is it that on my iPhone5c, I frequently see the download icon appear next to songs I've already purchased? Do I actually need to re-download songs that are already on my phone? Why is this?

If they have the cloud icon against them then they are not currently downloaded onto your phone, they are only in the cloud. If you want them stored on your phone then you will need to download them, either by tapping the cloud icon against them in the Music app (if you have Settings > iTunes & App Store > Music 'on'), or via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app.

  • I accidentally deleted a song and it's in the recycle bin.  How do I get it back in my music library?

I have a deleted song in the recycle bin that I'd like to restore to my  iTunes library.  How do I  do this?  Thanks for the help.
    JodyfromMarmora

Its worth adding that if you deleted the song using iTunes, you will need to add the track to your library with File>>Add file to library" after restoring it from the recycle bin.

  • I purchaced a song, but I received a notice that this song was already purchased but not downloaded what does this mean?

I purchased a song, but I received a notice that this song was previously purchased but not downloaded. Doesn't this occur immediately, if not how do I do this?

    Store>Check for Available Downloads

  • Songs I purchased a while ago no longer appear in my library, how do I add them to my library?

I purchased an album a few years ago, since then I have changed computers. How do I add the old album I bought to my new computer, or is it even possible. Apple has a record of my purchase, but it will not let me access it other then just showing me a receipt.

It is possible. Do note that some items may no longer be available for download for various reasons, such as if the content was removed from iTunes.
Go to the iTunes Store, sign in if not already, under the Quick Links section on the home page, click Purchased. Then click the Not on This Computer button to see all songs you've purchased but do not exist in your iTunes library.
Or if you attempt to purchase the item again, it should recognize you've already purchased it and let you download it free of charge.
    Hope that helps!

  • Itune store has taken to reloading a TV series I purchased some while ago. I already have a copy. How do i make it stop?

How can I stop the iTunes store for downloading duplicates of a TV sereis I brought some while ago?

option discovered in preferences. Really this and any feature that moves deletes or edits a users data should as far as possible be OFF BY DEFAULT. It shouldn't by default and without the users specific say do this dangerous and unnecessary thing without even letting the user know what it's doing!!! And then cause me a few hours (as i'm new to mac) searching for the option so as to switch it off. If i hadn't noticed the status cage declaring that it was copying files then i might never have twigged that this insane thing was occurring. And if i hadn't of noticed i would have been left maintaining the contents of the folder i copied the files to, the folder which as far as i was informed and so believed was also the location of the music files i was playing. How does Apple justify this 'genius' piece of software non-design? Surely it will hurt no one if this was off by default for new users - overall at least i dare say it would cause a lot less distress in the future for the unsuspecting public at large. Thanks for the support.

  • How can I add a playlist without deleting the songs I already have on my iphone.  It wont let me drag

This is driving me mad.  I simply want to add a new playlist to my iphone but a message says that when I beging syncing it will delete my previous songs.  I obviously dont want this to happen.  In addition, I cant just add these new songs by dragging as it wont allow me to do it.  Please help

Hi there.  Not sure how to get to where I can ask you a question so I just jumped in here.  Hope thats ok with you.
You seem extremely knowledgeable with solutions to all kinds of questions,
My problem is I tried to add a playlist from Itunes to my Iphone (5) and it will not add it.  I have been doing this for years with all my Iphones and this is the first time its happened.  I still have room to add them, so cannot understand what I am doing wrong.
I would really appreciate any help you could offer, thanks in advance!

  • I accidentally deleted the song I was playing on my 5s, and now what ever song I want to play is the one above the selected song. How do I fix this?

I have no idea what I did!

    Hi nth1,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!
I would suggest closing the Music app on your iPhone, then restarting or resetting your device.  If the song was purchased from the iTunes Store, you can redownload it.
iOS: Force an app to close
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
Downloading past purchases from the iTunes Store, App Store, and iBooks Store

    Cheers,
