Accidentally deleted a song off iPad

I accidentally deleted a song off my iPad and tried to re-sync it. But when I do, the song will not transfer to my iPad. Any Ideas??

Can't Delete Song Off iPad Mini

Hi, I just got the new iPad Mini with Retina. It's completely up to date. Today, I put three albums on my device.
1) The album art is not showing up (not a huge deal but still bothers me)
2) A song showed up in my music on my iPad that I do not want
I CAN NOT swipe and delete. I've tried.
I pressed the "Show All Music" Button so that it is off and it doesn't show music from the cloud
I even deleted the song off of iTunes and it is still on my device. Please help.

ID you don't see the X, do yo use a cloud icon in the lower right corner of the movie icon? If you do see that icon, the movie isn't on the iPad anyway. The movie is in the cloud and you can tap that cloud icon to download the movie to your iPad.
So it all of that is true, those movies are not taking up space on your iPad. You can hide those movies in the videos app by going to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Show all>Videos>Off.

tapping on the cloud icon downloads the song to your iPad. It does NOT send the song to the cloud. The song is already in the cloud and that is why the download icon is next to it, so that you can download it if you choose to do so.
THe songs that you see that you said that you did not download might be the Songs of Innocence U2 Album that Apple pushed to everybody's devices sometime ago. If you want to remove them, try this and see if it still works.

I have accidentally bought a song off of iTunes that is a fake. It was a total scam, but that is not my problem. I am having trouble deleting it off of my iTunes on the computer and my iPhone. When I delete it in the music folder on my PC, and in the purchased on the computer, it just redownloads every time I plug my iPhone in. I have deleted the song many times off of each device, but it appears every time when I sync them up. Any help on how to delete this?

Nope, it either needs to be plugged in or turned on with the power button.
A replacement iPhone 4 is $149, but at least the whole phone is replaced.

If you mean you accidentally removed the icon for iMovie from the Dock (the array of icons at the bottom of the window), you can add it back easily.
Open the Applications folder (if you open it from the Dock you may then need to click the Open in Finder icon), locate the iMovie program.
Drag the icon for iMovie down to the Dock, somewhere between the icon for Finder and the dashed line toward the right.
Wait for the icons at that spot to move aside, then drop it in.

I don't completely understand how that works with deleting a song off your music FROM your iphone and then what happens when you sync with itunes....does it get deleted off itunes as well or will it re-sync the song back on to your iphone?

You may have accidentally put it in a folder instead of deleting it. Check all your folders to see if it is in one.

When you click on purchased you should see something like this. Click on the cloud icon by the side of the item to download it

Here's what I did:
1. I synced my phone to iTunes and under the music tab, I selected sync only checked playlists. I made sure I had none of my playlists selected.
2. After syncing I ejected the phone, and checked my music app. There now was no music at all on my phone.
3. Synced it again to iTunes and synced music how I typically do. When it was finished, I checked for the unwanted song, and it was gone.
Maybe this will work for you as well.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. I found an article with some steps to delete photo albums off of an iPhone. The way you delete the photos will depend on whether they were taken with the iPhone (on the Camera Roll) or if you synced the albums:
To delete photos and videos from your device
To delete synced photos and videos
In iTunes, select the device icon in the Devices list on the left. Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
Choose "Sync photos from."
On a Mac, choose iPhoto or Aperture from the pop-up menu.
On a Windows PC, choose Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements from the pop-up menu.
Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
Click Apply.
To delete Camera Roll photos and videos
There are two methods to delete items from the Camera Roll:
Import the Camera Roll to your computer, choosing to delete items after import.
or
Delete photos and videos from your device manually. Open the Photos application, open the Camera Roll, tap the Action button, tap each photo to select it, and tap the Delete button.
Note: For photos and videos you want to save for later, import them to your computer before deleting them from the Camera Roll.

Unless you synced them with an email account or backed them up somewhere, it's doubtful. You may end up paying money for an app that cannot guarantee anything. Sorry.

A 3rd generation iPod Touch can be updated to iOS 5.
BUT - an 8GB iPod Touch is either:
1st gen, which can only go as high as iOS 3.1.3
2nd gen, which can only go as high as iOS 4.2.1. This model has Model No. A1288 etched into the back casing.
4th gen, which can install ioS 5
Note the lack of 3rd generation 8GB. That's because it does not exist.
Please stop misleading people. It doesn't help anyone.
