Accidentally deleted an app I downloaded and I want it back-
I accidentally deleted my Lion download from the "Purchased" tab in App Store. Is there any way I can put it back in there? Help.
By going to the Quick Links section and selecting Accounts on the front page of Mac App Store, I was able to find my Lion purchase under Hidden Purchases and Unhide it. It is now shoewing under the Purchased tab. Thanks.

The following Knowledge Base article offers up some basic steps to try for reinstalling an app:
iOS: An app you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open.

Reinstall the app
Remove the app from your device and reinstall it. Remember that deleting an app also deletes its data.
Delete the app.
Press the Home button.
Go to the App Store and download the app again.
Wait for the app to download, then open it from the Home screen.
If the download stops, you can resume it.
If the issue persists, then you may want to try and sync the application to your iOS device using your computer by following the information in this article, under the section "Download previous purchases on Mac or PC":

It's impossible to delete the App Store on your iPhone.
Reset your home page: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Page layout.
Check if the App Store is enabled: Go to Settings > General > Restrictions > Make sure they are "Disabled" or that Installing Apps is "On"

It can't be deleted, it's one of the built-in apps. You've checked all your homescreen and app folders for it, and is it hidden by Settings > General > Installing Apps being set 'off' ?

Did you install it yourself are somebody else for you?
If you installed them yourself, but do not remember which AppleID you used, try all AppleIDs you might have used in turn.
If somene else set up your Mac for you, ask the person to reinstall it. If you bought the mac second hand, the previous owner needs to contact Apple to transfer the iLife apps. If that is not possible, delete the apps that you cannot update and buy them using your AppleID. -

I think you can only get app data back if you reinstall the app and then restore the iPod from backup. The app should contain the dat up to the time the backup was made.

Two ways:
1. Did you tried downloading Keynote using your iPhone as stated above? (make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi)
2. You can also use computer iTunes > select iTunes Store under STORE (left sidebar), click Purchased on the right under QUICK LINKS > click Apps > Not in My Library. -
My youtube app is no longer working on my iphone 3. Others, with the same phone, are not having the problem. It works occassionally, but it's unpredictable. I've updated phone software, deleted the app, re-downloaded the app, turned the phone off and on...nothing.
You may have debris in your headphone jack blocking the sensor. Try blowing hard on the jack, and inserting/removing your headphones quickly multiple times to clear it.

Hi everyone
I am a new user of iphone 4...i've accidentally deleted the app store from the iphone...pls tell me how to retrieve it back...pls help...tqTo restore the missing App Store Icon, or other original Apple Icons on the iPhone, go to Settings / General / Reset (Don't worry, you will be presented with a number of options concerning resetting before anything happens. The iPhone will NOT reset just by selecting this option).
Choose "Reset Home Screen Layout". This will restore the App Store Icon as well as other Apple Icons you may have removed or placed into folders.
Please note. This also removes any folders you have set up and rearranges all of the apps you have, so it takes awhile to put everything back where it was.
Unfortunately, I did not capture the placement of my Icons, so I had to recreate from memory...not that big a deal. If you elect to follow this procedure, make a note of where all of your icons are placed and then proceed.
I followed links that talked about restoring through iTunes...never could make anything like that work. This is a quick and simple fix. -
