You need to do a REcovery to get it back. See Help 9.....

i went to app store to get it but it says to accept but when i accept it says it that it was already accepted, my mac book is still under warranty.

You'd need to do a full install of the OS, not an update. You can use recovery (Command + R keys) during boot up or restart. Your files will not be deleted (unless you choose to erase your drive) - but make sure you have a backup anyway. General info here:

I rented a movie today and accidentally deleted it, how do I get it back without paying again?

As far as I know rentals are one-off downlaods, but you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Express Lane, then iTunes > iTunes Store

Has anyone accidentally deleted contacts how do I recover ?

From a backup.  If you are using Time Machine on an Apple computer, simply open Contacts on your Mac, then open Time Machine and go back to a time when the deleted contacts were present.

  • Accidentally deleted Mailbox - How to Recover?

I decided to get organized today and created a mailbox called "Friends" and then created submailboxes with the names of my friends. Then I filed their messages from the Inbox to their respective submailboxes.
Once that was finished, I decided to make the mailbox name all upper case, so I selected "Rename Mailbox". I retyped "FRIENDS" and got a dialog box saying I couldn't rename this mailbox (presumably because no characters were changed, only characteristics?) Next thing you know, I see there are two mailboxes: "Friends" (the old one) and "FRIENDS", the new one. I checked and each mailbox had all the submailboxes intact (with all their messages inside). So, I deleted "Friends" since they were obviously duplicates. To my surprise, "Friends" went away, leaving "FRIENDS", only all the submailboxes and their contents were missing!
How do I recover them? It was a couple of hours of work and I don't know what irreplaceable information has been lost.
    G5   Mac OS X (10.3.9)

If you cannot find the mailboxes in ~/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/ (almost certainly they’re no longer there), and the messages are not on the server, and you don’t have a backup, your only option in the case of Mail 1.x is to try to salvage as many deleted mbox files as possible with a data recovery tool such as Data Rescue II, TechTool Pro, or FileSalvage (the files to be recovered would be different in the case of Mail 2.x). Stop using your computer right now if you want to try that, as anything you do with the computer may cause the deleted files to be overwritten.

  • Accidentally Deleted iCal, How do I get it back?

Hello, I am a recent convert to the mac universe, so I'm still a little new to all of the functionality . I was trying to change the icon for my iCal, and as one thing led to another, I managed to delete the program. Before I knew what I was doing, it was gone from my trash can, and now I can't seem to get it back. I tried to see if I could get a new download of the application from the apple website, but my mac says that the application can run on my computer's architecture. So, I'm thinking I messed up something bad, because now I can't install the program. Does anyone have any idea what I did wrong here, and how I can undo it? I don't have my timemachine set up yet either, so that option is out. Thank you for any help you can provide me.

My suggestion is to be happy. iCal with Leopard is a bust. Highly touted, not working. Not syncing. Publishing to the web? Fine, if you don't mind the events being off by 1, 2, 3, or whatever hours (making the published calendar untrustworthy). Moreover, Apple doesn't seem to care.

If it came with Lion or later pre-installed, then re-download it from your App Store purchases. If your computer came with Snow Leopard or earlier then it is on one of the original discs that came with the computer. If you don't have them you can purchase replacements from Apple:

  • I accidentally deleted iMessage, how I do reinstall it? (Deleted from trash, too.)

I've recently started wanting to use the iMessage app on my mac, but I realized I deleted it months ago, thinking it wouldn't be of any use to me. Because this was months ago, and is no longer in my trash, I know I cannot retrieve it from there. Is there a way to reinstall the app?

Re-install the OS. An overwrite install will not touch your user data it will only write the OS files (and bring back Messages)
As in any case like this, while doing the re-install shouldn;t hurt your data,  having a good backup is a very good idea before starting this.

  • Help! Accidentally deleted QuickOffice, how to reinstall?

    Hi All,
So I updated my QuickOffice yesterday to get the patch for document editing. For some reason the app wouldn't start afterwards and so I deleted it from the home page thinking that I could just download it again from the HP App catalog. It isn't listed in the catalog and I can't use software manager or anything else to install it again. I searched on google and this forum to find a solution, but unfortunately, it seems that I might be the only one with this issue. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Is it possible to just reformat my touchpad back to its original content?
    Thanks,
    anulicious

Yes, it worked perfectly.  I suspect that Quickoffice and Adobe Reader must not have been deleted from the device, even though they were inaccessible to me.
Background:  The problem started when I followed the routine to update Quickoffice and Adobe Reader, by deleting them from the applications menu.  The instructions seemed to say that it was necessary to delete Quickoffice and Adobe Reader prior to updating them.  But after deleting them, I was unable to find a way to update them.  That's why I sought assistance from Quickoffice.  (I was reluctant to try such an extreme measure as using the doctor.)  I don't think the Quickoffice reset process re-downloaded the software.  I didn't see any indication of downloading taking place.  That's why I conclude that Quickoffice and Adobe Reader must have remained somewhere inaccessible (to me) on the Touchpad.
By the way, this is a great forum.  Thanks.

  • I accidentally deleted iMovie, how do I get it back?

    please help!

If you actually moved iMovie to the trash and emptied it, you'll need to find your iLife install discs (or, if iMovie came with your computer, the system restore discs that came with your computer). You can use those to reinstall it. If you're using the system restore discs, there should be an "install optional software" or "install bundled software only" or other icon OTHER than "install Mac OSX" that you should use.
There's a free program called Pacifist that can help extract files from installer packages.
If you didn't move iMovie to the trash and empty it, however, then you can simply open your Applications folder and drag it back to the dock; iMovie will still be in there, don't worry.

  • I-cloud in my i-pad settings was accidentally deleted. How can I get this back?

Usually I-cloud is in the settings folder under mail, contacts, etc. It isn't there and I'm not sure where it went to or when.  Is there a way for me to get it back without having to buy it?

iCloud is free. If your iPad is running iOS 5, there will be an iCloud item in the main Settings list. Click that and you should be able to set the iCloud account up again.
