Accidentally made website text display smaller, how do I undo it?

In both Safari and Firefox, when visiting a couple of websites, I accidentally hit some combination of keys and made the text display very small - it only seems to affect those two websites. I think it MIGHT have been when I was trying to do a long hyphen by hitting Opt/- Anyway, any ideas what I did, or how to undo it?

If you haven't backed up to either your computer or iCloud, you can't get the message back. Let this be a lesson to either back your phone up to your computer or to iCloud (or both) regularly.

I accidentally clicked "Auto Size All Columns" HOW DO I UNDO THIS?! It isn't letting me resize the columns.

Wow that was really quick, thank you so much. Im not sure at all which version it was because i said it was around 4 years ago he bought it. I know it isn't under his username, since he's a PC person (ugh) so i know its probably registered to one of our actual names. isn't there some way to look it up since we did register it, because I'm not even sure where the disks are from when we bought it (we've moved a lot and also have two storage lockers, i know i would have kept it with other disks) but my cd rom drive is actually broken on my computer as well ( i think it got stepped on and is now squished and won't eject or run disks.)
So is there anyway they can look up that its registered to one of our names since we did register it when we bought and installed it, or do i really have to find the disk with some sort of proof of purchase (i know there would be no receipt after all this time)

Big mistake made reorganizing music... how do I undo?

I meant to assign a certain "genre" to a limited number of songs. However it turns out I assigned this genre to my entire music collection. This is problematic because I have about 7000 songs and dozens of playlists that depend on my detailed genre classifications. I looked in my Previous iTunes Libraries and I have one from four months ago which I can use. However I've added countless songs and reorganized songs etc. in those four months. Is there another alternative? I don't have Time Machine. Any solutions would be desperately welcome!

Your backup iTunes (Music) Library.xml will contain all your Smart Playlists, not your new one. It will also feature the correct Play Counts and Date Added if those are concerns for you.
Also there are free alternatives to iRip that will let you rip your iPod to your Mac, such as DeTune (http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/35334/detune). Then you just have to manually import those songs back to iTunes.
I agree with turingtest2. You will probably have to briefly playing each song to update the genre tags in your iTunes (Music) Library.xml afterwards. There is a script for that: http://dougscripts.com/itunes/scripts/ss.php?sp=needledrop

One website's text is smaller than another.

I moderate a number of groups on the Yahoo! Groups platform. I currently have 6 of these open in tabs. 5 of the groups show up perfectly with the correct size text etc (set in preferences to how I want them). The 6th one, however, has the main body of the text significantly smaller than the others. I have tried zooming and that works... until I look at another group and it has made that one smaller (remember it was fine). All Yahoo! Groups have a standard setting, I have checked. The text in this one group changed suddenly while I was viewing it. I have checked the group in another browser and the text size is perfect, i.e. the same as all the others. So I think that rules out a Yahoo! issue. I may have inadvertently hit some key combination that has changed the text size for this one particular group; but I don't know what it is or how to revert back to what it was before. Help!

Wow! I think I had this same issue just last night.
I was cleaning my macbook pro retina on the outside. Then I opened it up and was wiping dust off the monitor and I can't pinpoint exactly when, but the colors changed suddenly. It looked super strange, it was like green halo's and it looked worse when looking at it at an angle. Of course I took no pictures!!! I was freaking out that my 2 grand laptop was busted and I somehow removed a protective film or something.
But I digress... The image looked very green and spacey, it was almost a neat effect. After about 5 minutes it started to look a little more digital though. There were straight lines of this halo effect on the edges and top. After about 10 minutes it turned into a predominate issue with the blacks on screen. I could open a web browser and it was unnoticable on a white background. After about 15 minutes, you could only barely see the green cloud effect if you looked at the monitor from an extreme angle. After about 20 minutes, it was completely back to normal, I almost feel paranoid like I see a halo or something strange. But I believe that might be all in my head now.
So yerp, lemme know what you guys figure out.

How to center the text displayed in a JList

The width of the JList display area is wider than the text displayed. I tried to center the text displayed to make it look nicer. I had tried using "setAlignmentX(Component.CENTER_ALIGNMENT)" in my own ListCellRenderer class but did not work. Any idea how to center the text?

In Firefox 3.6 and later on Windows you can hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu on a toolbar.
Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).

How do I customize the tab text displayed on bookmarked sites?

I often use "open all as tabs" for a bookmark folder of weather.com "5 day forecast" sites covering the towns in a geographical region where I plan to go hiking.
One Firefox browser with six tabs for six towns in my state. "5 day forecast for Gorham," "5 day forecast for Jackson," "5 day forecast for Lincoln," etc.
The problem is the tab displays only some of the first few words of the site description: "5 day forcas," "5 day forcas," "5 day forcas," etc.
I'd like to display only the end of that sentence, which is the name of the town. This way I would have a list of towns across the top of the browser for direct reference.
I changed the "name" property of each bookmark, but that only affects the name in the bookmark collection list, not the display name of a tab in use.

My instinct is that of course there is something that could be done, it's a computer, every bit of it is adjustable.
Some browser function grabs the title-tag text for display. It could just as well be redirected by a script (is that the right term?) to grab text held in a list in the bookmark for that page. Let's hear from someone on this idea, please.
The point is, why have titles on tabs if it is junk information? Best use of the small tab text display area would be an abbreviation!

On your toolbar, you will see a little icon on the far right. The tip strip says Reorder. Select the graph, then the Reorder button and select Move to Back.

How do I make the margin beneath the text in a text box smaller?

I'm trying to either make the inner margin in a text box smaller, or align the text on the bottom of the text box in fireworks. (by text box, I mean the box surrounding a text element).
With the extra space beneath the text, I can't place the text box close enough to the element beneath it without the two boxes overlapping. Not sure I'm making this clear; please see the screenshot.

Ahhh... that's a really good reason. It *would* be nice if Fireworks' text boxes could emulate the CSS box model and include features like background, border, padding, etc.
When you say that "adjusting the text box padding" didn't work for you, do you mean "adjusting baseline shift"? Because baseline shift should have absolutely no effect on the bounding box itself (though I don't know what it's effect is on exporting to HTML + CSS). The box itself stays rock solid, while the individual letters move up or down.
Nevertheless, it's not the greatest solution. In this context, if you want to preserve the flow of your text content while maintaining maximum control over its appearance—and avoid the conversion to absolute positioning—your best bet might be to use a single text box. If you think about it, there are plenty of ways to control the placement and appearance of text within a single box (although it may not be how you prefer to work). Keeping things "in flow" should keep them from being absolutely positioned upon conversion.
Aaron Beall has developed a nice set of Text commands for Fireworks—including a "Merge Text Boxes" command that could be helpful to you if you wanted to combine your multiple boxes into a single text box. (I was originally wondering if anyone might have developed a command to snap the bounding box of text to the text itself—to its inner "raw" dimensions—but I didn't find one.)

Yes, you will have to have a basic understanding of code to work with Business Catalyst. At least simple CSS and HTML. You don't need to know complex coding such as Javascript or anything. The nice thing about Business Catalyst is it does the complex stuff for you.
You can use any domain you want with Business Catalyst sites.
As for the zip file, Business Catalyst handles all that for you. You simply upload your files to your business catalyst site.
