I just purchased Photoshop Elements 13 online but ordered the Windows version by mistake. I need the Mac version. I called the sales line but the rep said she could not help and I need to get on the chat line. I tried that several times but it keeps taking me to the forums section. HELP!

I don't know if things have changed (I get the feeling they have as of late), but normally an Elements license can be applied to either platform, so you should be able to download the trial version for the Mac and use the serial number to activate it. If you have any problem you should be able to resolve it with customer spport thru chat.

I didn't realize that it was for Windows until I tried downloading my upgrade. How do I exchange this download to the Mac platform?

Well, actually there was, but super-easy to miss. All you have to do is click on Edit at the Shopping cart where you would choose "upgrade" and "Mac".
You can't use a Windows s/n to activate the Mac version. Serial numbers are platform specific.
What you will be doing is to sign in, go through the Support Portal to request an return or exchange.

Exchanging Photoshop CS2 for Windows to a Mac version

I have switched to a Mac computer and can't afford to buy a new version of Photoshop. I have heard that Adobe will do a one time "trade" of my windows version of CS2 to a similar version for the Mac.Anyone familiar with this?

How do I uninstall photoshop elements 6 (windows) when there is not option in add-remove programs. I have looked on my hard drive extensively for a library or utility folder that would have an uninstall program, nothing. I want to install Elements 9, but have found out that Elements 9 does not remove Elements 6, so I want to remove elements 6 first.

Strange that PSE6 does not show up via the control pane.
I wouldn’t worry about uninstalling it. The two versions sit happily side by side and PSE6 takes up hardly any file space compared with PSE9.

Just purchased photoshop cs6 for windows and received installation disk. Where do you find the serial number on the disk? What should the serial number start with? The disk was in the original box and I see a number that start with 910.....
The box was in a brown envelope and there is barcode sticker on the back with more numbers. Where should I look for the actual serial number.

The iPhone 3G can not be upgraded beyond iOS 4.2.1. If WhatsApp requires a higher version of the iOS, you can not download it.

I ordered the photoshop essentials for windows and needed the MAC version,

I downloaded it and then registered the product thinking I would need to ask for an exchange, however it is working okay, I think, do i need to make the change?

You might have gotten the Mac version anyways. Assuming you mean Photoshop Elements, your purchase is good for either platform. When you downloaded it might have automatically detected your system and delivered the proper version.
If you have a problem you should be able to get the proper version without having to make any arrangements with Adobe.

Photoshop Elements for Windows 8

I bought Photoshop Elements almost 10 years ago, it worked well even with Windows 7. Now I got new PC which has Windows 8, tried to install from CD but couldn't make it.
Is there anyway to update my Photoshop Elements or do I have to purchase new version? Please advice.

For PSE it's not worth it. You'd have to pay the upgrade fee and right now you can buy the full version of PSE from amazon and so on for less than the upgrade.
