Accidentally registered CS4 with incorrect e-mail

I purchased a student license for CS4 Design Premium (Education Version) roughly 4 years ago and temporarily deactivated it with the intention of moving it to a new PC. However, I recently re-activated it because I needed to use it for an assignment and did so with a different e-mail than the one it was previously associated with. I have a new e-mail for work/professional stuff and I've been using it so frequently that when I was prompted to I accidentally entered that one instead of the e-mail I originally registered CS4 to. Then I went to check my adobe ID and realised that the one I'd normally sign in with is a hotmail.com address, not a bell.net one like I signed up with.
I was planning on changing the e-mail associated with this account to a new e-mail anyway (since my current hotmail is several years old and is becoming a spam collector) but if I try to associate my adobe id with the bell.net account, I'm unable to do so, because it says that that e-mail is unnavailable. Should I leave this alone? Deactivate/reactivate the software on the current/correct e-mail? Or how can I fix the 'unnavailable email' issue?
I'm worried that in using the wrong e-mail, it opened a second adobe account with the same information, and I've heard you can't delete those accounts yourself. Any help?
I appologize if this doesn't make sense, I'm trying my best to explain it

    I experienced same problem tonight and called Verizon technical support and they walked me through the settings on iPad. Took about 5 minutes. Basically it involved changing incoming.verizon.net to pop.verizon.net and changing outgoing.verizon.net to smtp.verizon.net. But it's worth the call to ensure other settings are OK. Evidently, change at Verizon was effective today!

    I have a major problem. I cannot update my phone with any apps. It brings up an old incorrect e-mail address when I try and do this.
    On my computer and on my phone settings is the correct e-mail address.

    The Mail.app stores all sent message recipients to the list of Previous Recipients in Mail and the autofill feature pulls from the Address Book and the list of Previous Recipients.
    At the Mail.app menu bar, go to Window and select Previous Recipients.
    A previous recipient entered in the Address Book will have a vCard icon to the left of the name. You can remove a previous recipient from the list or add a previous recipient to the Address Book that is not already entered.

    Reset your password. Be sure your new one meets the requirements for length (8) and characters (at least one upper case and one number).

  • [win cs4] deadlock registering plugin with regsvr32

    I have a com object inside my plugin and I need to register it with regsvr32.exe.
    My problem is that after the alert that display the success of the registration, regsvr32 never end and in visual studio when pausing appear the following message:
    "The process appears to be deadlocked (or is not running any user-mode code). all thread have been stopped."
    My plugin include three library from sdk, pmruntime.dll public.dll and widgetbin.dll, I tried to remove one library at time, commenting the code required form each library,and I discovered that the inclusion of the pmruntime.dll was the problem.
    I also tried to include pmruntime.dll in a simple project with com object, and the same problem appear.
    Does anyone had similar problem with registration of the plugin or someone understand how regsvr32 fall in deadlock?
    Any help would be appreciated!

    I'm not too familiar with Windows threads, but you need to initialize the TLS, see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms686991(VS.85).aspx
    If you look in the source/public/includes/CTUnicodeTranslator.h, you can see that there are methods for getting an instance of the converter. This may give you problems when using multiple threads, i.e. several threads may access a the same state-based converter simultaneously resulting in in-correct conversions. Strange though, since Adobe is preparing to make InDesign multithreaded.

    Next time that box and option comes up just highlight the option that is incorrect in the dropdown list and press the keyboard delete key. (Mac users: shift + del)

  • Problems with Gmail and Mail App

    Up until now, my gmail account (with 2 step log-in) has worked fine on my iPhone. 
    Today - when refreshing mail, I got a pop-up saying that the username and password were incorrect and mail couldn't be retrieved from the imap server at Google.  So...I went to my account settings on google - revoked the existing application specific password for my iPhone mail and then generated a new one.  When I entered it on the settings screen on my iPhone, I got the same message - u/p incorrect! 
    I deleted my gmail account and started over...same thing!!
    Now, I have no access to mail and I can't figure out what to try next!

    Well...after entering 6 different app-specific passwords and performing 3 separate reboots...mail is back up and running.  Next time I'll probably try putting my right foot in the air and spinning around in my chair 3.5 times...stupid Google!

    Thank you for the quick response. The sim card I have in the iPad is a standard "pay n go" sim card with a "data bolt on". If the sim card is placed into any phone, the sim card works as expected to make and receive calls etc.
    I get what you mean about the iPad as I was a little disappointed by the lack of calling and/or messaging. Especially when their main competitors allow the use of SMS etc.
    The issue I have is that iMessage, for some reason, shows the messages as being sent from the recieving mail address. So a iMessage being sent to [email protected] shows up on a.persons iPad as being sent from themselves. Although both iPads are linked to the same iTunes account, the address are different to the address used to set up iTunes. Hence the question regarding the sim cards number.
    Still, no worries and thank you all the same for replying :)

  • FIOS Email: Doesn't work with Windows Live Mail?

    I have follow the instructions posted in mid April 2015 for changing the email settings and they do not work at all with Windows Live Mail. 
    Unable to send or receive messages for the Verizon (text deleted by me) account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.

    Server Response: -ERR [AUTH] Authentication failed

    I am using the exact same identical password I used successfully to access webmail.  I confirmed the port settings of 995 (incoming) and 465 (outgoing) are being used in the set up. I noticed various versions of Outlook (Express, 2010, etc) have instructions posted here but not Windows Live Mail. Do the new settings not work on the client?

    Update: I did find the instructions posted at http://www.verizon.com/Support/Residential/Announcements/general-announcements01.htm?CMP=EMC-CVZ_ZZ_... and they DO NOT WORK
    Followed them to the letter step by step and still cannot access when using Webmail.  Here is the response:

    I have two computers (Laptop - Vista [32], and my desktop Windows 7 [64 bit]) and I have been using Windows Live Mail (Part of Windows Essentials) for many years! 
    Until recently, I have not experienced any problems downloading my e-mail messages; problems, only started to occur  when I transferred from Talktalk, to BT Infinity!
    Regularly since the transfer, whenever I send/receive,  I get a messages, advising, either
    "enter your password",
    or
    "incorrect password user name"
    I have 5 e-mail accounts, and frequently, I get these message for all 5 of these accounts!
    Two things,  I find interesting, are that when this problem occurs:
    (1)        It occurs, simultaneously, with both the laptop, and my desktop! (I have switched, each of in turn, to rule out mutual interference)!
    (2)        I get a message, several minutes later, from the BT software "BT Broadband Desktop Help", advising "An E-mail Issue Detected" and I am given the option to FIX! If I choose this option, a report comes up, advising that there are no BT accounts on this computer!
    Today, for example, I found that I could not download messages, for some 3 hours, continuously!
    However, I found that I could log in to BT Yahoo, and see my messages, on line! (Same e-mail address and passwords)
    Several times, I have contacted BT, and each time, let them take control of my PC, to investigate. Every time, they have played around, and established that everything is in order!
    Today, I again contacted BT, and again, they checked everything out, and verified everything was in order, and they verified that my messages could not be downloaded!
    At no time, would the BT specialist admit, that the problem could be at the BT end.
    I suspect that with BT Infinity, which is very fast, that my interrogation(Send/Receive)  is too fast for their mail account to respond, when the network is busy!
    The BT representative, today, admitted that he had tried everything he knew, and therefore was not able to help further; if I wanted further technical assistance, I would have to pay for it!
    Given that on many occasions:
    (1)           I do not have a problem downloading my messages!
    (2)          When I do have a problem, it occurs on two computers (including (2) above)
    I can only conclude that the problem is at the BT end (My broadband connection is perfect), and that the BT software "BT Broadband Desktop Help, is a bag of nails!
    I would interested in any comments, especially from BT

    Hi. Welcome to the forums.
    There is actually no compatibility problems with Windows Live Mail, and actually the speed of your connection isn't too fast for the mail servers.
    However a couple of months ago or slightly more, there were serious email access issues affecting pop3 client program such as WLM (and all the others like Outlook, Thunderbird etc). As you've noticed, it did not affect access via webmail (logging in via BTYahoo!).
    The problem seems to have resurfaced over the past couple of days for some (I have seen the problem), so it's a server issue and not an end user one.
    You may like to try altering the mail server addresses in WLM as indicated in my shortcuts option 0d/h (see link below). That has fixed it for many people. (Accounts/Properties/Servers tab - Incoming mail/Outgoing mail, alter both these and the Email username should be the full email address). It is easy to alter back, and only the servers need changing.

    Are you accessing your Windoze Live account as a POP account or as an Exchange account with the iPhone's Mail app?
    If as a POP account, received messages that are in the account's Inbox at the incoming mail server will be downloaded.
    If you are accessing the account as an Exchange account, all server stored mailboxes will be available automatically when accessing the account with the iPhone's Mail app. If as an Exchange account, seems like you would want to have the account's junk mailbox available in case a legitimate message is incorrectly marked as junk and moved out of the account's Inbox mailbox.

    I logged in with my Adobe ID and was directly taken to a profile page "Your Account / Personal Information". On this page there was a banner "Claim your exclusive benefit today". By clicking the link I received the error:
    Missing data: Unable to find a product registration record associated with your e-mail address (Adobe ID). If you feel this is incorrect, please contact Adobe customer support.
    I had received similar offer already before so I was little supprised to receive it again.
