Accidently deleted all apps on itunes

Hi, so my dad deleted all apps on the itunes after he sync it , then he sync it again so now all the games are gone on his iphone and on itunes. Are there any ways to restore back the games? P.s. nothing on the recycle bin. Thanks a lot.

Redownload them from the App Store. It's free.

  • Since I have iCloud enabled and have backed up to the "cloud," can I delete all apps from iTunes without them being deleted from my iPod?

Ok, so I have iCoud enabled on my iPod Touch, and I want to delete all my apps from iTunes without them deleting from my iPod, but iTunes says this:
Please tell me if this is possible. Thanks!
P.S.- When I get my iPhone next month, will all apps and "stuff" be there if I delete all the apps from iTunes and I turn off atomatic downloads to?

No.  The iCloud storage feature is only for mobile devices.  If you need more space get an external HD formatted OS X Extended (journaled) and drag your  iPhoto Library to it.  Launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and select the library on the EHD to open.  Once you've confirmed that the library is OK and working properly you can delete the library from your boot driver.
However, if you don't have a backup strategy in place you should consider doing so as soon as possible.  A second EHD that's about 2X the size of your boot and first EHD is needed so you can use Time Machine to make hourly backups.  Remember there's only 2 type of hard drives:  1 - those that have crashed and 2 - those that will.

  • Help! accidently deleted all of my itunes library (4000 songs!)

    hey guys!
please please help (this is turning out to be the worst day ever!)
i was getting annoyed with all the duplicates in itunes so decided to delete the songs in itunes and then just drag them all back from my external harddrive. Anyway, halfway through deleting my itunes library i noticed they were going from my folder on my hard drive. I panicked but i couldn't cancel it so i thought it'd be ok - i could just go into the recylce bin and they'd all be there. well they were and so i highlighted them all and right clicked and clicked restore. they all went somewhere but i can't find them ANYWHERE. I am seriously panicking as i've searched everywhere (or so it seems!) - surely they cant just be deleted as i clicked restore?! please help!

Did you make the fatal mistake of allowing iTunes to manage your music (ie ticking the box for 'Keep iTunes Music folder organised'? Always turn that off, otherwise you are giving this incredibly buggy software carte blanche to wander around deleting your music whenever it likes. (It cost me over 180GB of music and it took me over a week to rip all my CD's again.)
Check in 'Preferences -> Advanced' what your iTunes Music location is and then browse to that location using Explorer and have a look around.

  • Accidently deleted all items in itunes

I accidentaly deleted everything in my itunes and I cannot find them in my recycle bin but everything is still on my ipod, how do I put everything back onto my itunes?

If your iPod is set to sync automatically you need to take care connecting to an empty iTunes. You can use a keyboard command to prevent your iPod auto-syncing with iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer on Windows with iTunes installed hold down the Shift + Ctrl keys together. This will stop the iPod from auto-syncing with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. This may take between 20 to 30 seconds depending on your computer: iTunes - Keyboard Shortcuts for Windows
Alternatively open iTunes first and go to Edit>Preferences>Devices and check the box "Disable automatic syncing for iPhones and iPods" and choose Ok. Then connect your iPod.
iTunes will only let you copy your iTunes Store purchases directly from an iPod to the computer, you'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer
For everything else (music from CDs, other downloads and including iTunes purchased songs and in some cases, videos and games) there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. You can read reviews and comparisons of some of them here:

There's also a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to a Mac or PC. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available on page 2 at this link: Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide
I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay: Back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive

  • Deleted all music in itunes upgrading to 7.0.6.29; how do i get it back?

i recently ugraded itunes 7.0.6.29 and managed to (accidently) delete all music in itunes. i am now having to go into all my music, folder by folder, to import the files back into itunes. 3500 done, 5000 to go. AArrrgh. any ideas how to do it faster? i would like to get the playlists back that i ahve on my ipod but i dare not try to sync it in case it wipes the ipod as well. this idiot would appreciate any help he can get.

If your iPod is set to update automatically you just need to take care connecting to a changed iTunes. You can use a keyboard command to prevent your iPod auto-syncing with iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer on Windows with iTunes 7.3 or later installed hold down the Shift + Ctrl keys together.
When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual, that way you can continue to use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it until you can restore your songs and playlists: Managing content manually on iPod
There are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and clone playlists from your iPod. Have a look at this one for instance: iPod Access Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)

  • Can i delete the Apps in iTunes since my apps are all on the cloud now?

I've got iTunes opened up right now and on the left panel it says Apps, and it says 136 next to it
i know this means i have 136 apps that need to be updated, but for what?
all my apps are backed up on iCloud, and itunes remembers what apps i've downloaded
so can i delete these apps in itunes? it seems like it has a saved file for every single app i've ever downloaded, and i don't see the point in having that much stuff on my computer.
will i cause any harm by deleting these?

Not 100% sure of your question.  If you are wanting to delete apps from itunes just right click then delete then empty recycle bin.

  • Why my apps are not transferring from PC to iPhone 5? When I connected to PC the icon shows when I select apps it show 'will install' but it never show on iPhone, I re installed iTunes, deleted all apps and downloaded again but its not working pls help.

Next time an app update gets stuck try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons for10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons. Wait till your iPad starts on it's own. Try now. Also YouTube is still available. If you can't find it the the app store go to the bottom of the app store page and tap purchased. All your deleted apps will be listed and you can reinstall YouTube from there.

  • ITunes deleted all apps and all saved data lost...

I connected my ipod touch to my computer and it started to sync. I was watching the info at the top when it started deleting all my applications. I clicked on the applications tab, and almost all my apps were unselected. I let it finish, and when it was done, I only had about 10 apps left. I reconnected it to the computer and selected one more app to put on my ipod, and it didn't bring all the saved data with it. I have now lost a years worth of stuff. I tried restoring from backup, but the latest backup was from after it deleted all apps. Anyone know how I can get all my saved data back to my ipod? Also, why would it get rid of all those apps. I know I didn't deselect them.
    Thanks for your help.

  • How do I get more space to update my iPhone 4 to iOS7? I am currently on iOS 6.1.3 with 6.3 GB capacity, 1.4 GB available AFTER deleting all apps, photos, music, and videos, and I need 3.8 GB.

Update using iTunes on your computer. The space requirement does not apply because of how the process works via iTunes as opposed to over the air.

I have the same problem on my iPhone - an app I want to delete but can't. The app in question doesn't show up on the list of apps i iTunes and doesn't show an 'X' when it starts to wiggle. All the other apps do, but not this one. It's definitely an app. How do I get rid of it, please?

  • I have accidently deleted the App store icon off my home page, how do I get it back, do I need to re down load?

I have accidently deleted the App store icon off my home page, how do I get it back do I nave to re download??

Swipe through your screens and swipe to the left of your Home screen. Type in App Store in the search field. It's a permanent pre installed Apple app so it can't be deleted.
If you can't locate it on the iPad for some reason, connect the device to your computer. Right or control click the iPad under Devices left side of the iTunes window then click: Restore from backup

My iphone 4 has no data storage. I have deleted all apps, music and texts and it still says I only have 1.9 GB available. There is nothing in my storage.

The problem could be that you don't have enough storage on the device itself, not on iCloud.  Go to Settings>General>Usage to see how much "Storage" you have available on the device.  Farther down the list is the available storage on iCloud.
    Also check:
Go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage; there, tap the device you need info on and the resulting screen lists Backup Options with which apps store data on iCloud as well.  Tap Show All Apps to get the complete list of apps and MB used for backup storage.
A device needs many MB of storage in order to perform a backup to iCloud.

  • WIll apple ever make it so you can delete all apps in multitasking without deleting one at a time?

I think it's annoying when you have to delete a app at a time in the multiask bar. It would be good if they made it so there is a button saying delete all apps in mutlitasking bar. It would make me and probably many other apple users happy. It would save a lot time.

With some notable exceptions like audio apps that actually run in the background, most apps on the task bar are not actually running.  They are not actually doing anything, just sitting there in a suspended state until the next time you execute them by bringing them up on the screen.  There really is no need nor reason to be constantly clearing them away.

  • How to delete an app off iTunes that is no longer available

I am getting the error "An app xxxx was not installed on iphone xxxx because the app could not be found."   I get this error at every sync. Basically the app is on iTune but not on the phone.  I want to delete this app from iTunes - it is a sports app from 2014 that would never be used..  Since the app is no longer available, I just want to delete it.  I cannot do that on iTunes.
    Help please.

"Remove" is not an option, only Install or Will Install
