Accidently deleted music wnat to know how to get it back
while i was in london i added songs to my ipod nano from my cousins library. it worked fine and when i got home i wanted to add the songs to my library.
but i accidently clicked "automatically update all songs and playlists" and lost the recently added songs.
all that was on was the ones which were in my library.
i would love to know if i can get them back and how???

Good News for you... the iPod App Cannot be Deleted...
To Find it again...
Goto Settings > General > Reset. Then select the "Reset Home Screen " button.

Mail.APP has been deleted and don't know how to get it back ?
Please forgive my stupidity, But I have deleted my Mail app I don't know how but all that appears now
in it's place on the dock is a black piece of paper with a ruler and stuff.
Could somebody please help me out and tell how to get it backInsert the OSX installation Disk, and instead of proceeding to install, choose the Optional Installs -- Mail is one that can separately installed this way.
If the Install Disk has an earlier version of OSX than you have currently arrived at by updates, then you will have to download the Combo Update for 10.5.7, and install that over the existing OSX after having installed the Mail app. This is combo is 729 MB, and is not the standalone delta update, btw.

- Unsync/delete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

I accidently deleted the today icon in history and I don't know how to get it back.
Where the history icons are located with today, yesterday, a week, etc I accidentally deleted the today icon and I don't know how to get it back.
Today will automatically reappear once there is history for today. However you can't recover the history that has been deleted.

You can only sync with one computer/iTunes library. If you sync with another iTunes library/computer the media from the iPod will be deleted and replaced with the media on the second computer.

If you mean you accidentally removed the icon for iMovie from the Dock (the array of icons at the bottom of the window), you can add it back easily.
Open the Applications folder (if you open it from the Dock you may then need to click the Open in Finder icon), locate the iMovie program.
Drag the icon for iMovie down to the Dock, somewhere between the icon for Finder and the dashed line toward the right.
Wait for the icons at that spot to move aside, then drop it in. -

I downloaded a cheap PDF editor and it converted all my PDFs to their software. Then when I deleted it, I cannot open them in the Adobe format any longer. Please let me know how to get them back!
It's important to understand that when this sort of thing happens files aren't "converted" at all.
In Windows and Mac, there is just one app (program) that it run when you double click a type of file. There's an app for Word documents (Microsoft Word). There's an app for PDF files. So all that happened is that you installed an app which can open PDF files.
Nothing changed in the files. You can still open them the traditional way if you forget double click - start the app, use Open from the File menu. -
all my pictures in iPhoto got deleted and i don't know how to get them back so could anyone help me with that ??
We do need more information to help. Are the images gone from your iPhoto library, or is the iPhoto Library missing? How and when did this happen?
If images are missing from the library: Did you check for hidden photos? Did you check the iPhoto Trash?
If the pictures are still in the iPhoto Trash, open the Trash, select the images and and press the liitle arrow in the lower right corner - select "Put back".
If the pictures are still in an "iPhoto" folder in the system Trash (with sub folders named by date), import these folders to your iPhoto library.
Have you checked, if you have opened the correct iPhoto Library? Launch iPhoto with the options key held down, to select another Library.
If the entire Library is missing, have you searched for ".photolibrary" with spotlight?
Do have a backup?
If none of these easy measures helps, report back with more details - your iPhoto version, and anything else that might be helpful to find out, what the problem is. Don't do anything that changes the contents of your hard drive for now.

They should be in the Photos app (help on syncing photos is here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236) - if they don't show then check that Settings > General > About > Photos isn't 0, and you could also try a reset to see if they show after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
