I accidently deleted "Recently Downloaded" folder on Mac. How can I restore this please?

Recently added is a playist, not a folder.
File -> New smart playlist.
Match Rule;
Limit to XX by most recently added.
or
Date added is in last 2 weeks (or whatever you want).

This is just a smart playlist and you can make a new one.
File>>New smart playlist
Mine is as follows:
Match following rule – unchecked
Limit to checked
Limit to 25 items selected by most recently added
Live updating checked.
But you could have something like
Match following rule checked
Date added is in the last 2 weeks
Limit to unchecked
Live updating checked

You need to restore the folder using the (Put back) selection (CTRL click).

I've been working with documents in pages and recently downloaded word for mac. i open the pages documents and they appear to be corrupt. at least, a lot of the font is now in weird boxed pictures. what do i do?

I deleted my download folder and now I can't download anything. I can't select the folder to "save file to" and when I select "ask me where to save files" I still can't download. it says your file will start downloading, but then it doesn't. Help!!

I deleted the folder that saves everything that is downloaded from Firefox. After that I can't download anymore. I've tried clearing my download history, reset the download folder, reset the download action by renaming the mimetype.rdfs file and it's still not working. I've tried to choose a different download folder but it doesn't let me select any folder at all. If I select "ask me where to save files" and then try and download something, the download doesn't start after I select save to. The only time it does actually download is when I select "open with...windows mediaplayer" when downloading then the download will start. Please help. Thank you.

You broke your phone by getting it wet. Nothing more to say. Bring it in to Apple for an out of warranty exchange or buy a new phone. There's really nothing else we users here can help you with.

Deleted Recently Added Folder

At first I selected the "artist" tab in my recently added folder so everything was arranged differently, not by the date it was added.
I figured I could just delete it and create a new one, but it seems to be more difficult than that. I did file>new smart playlist and i can't figure out what to check off to make it work like a recently added playlist does. Here are my options...

In iTunes go to File>New Smart Playlist
Match the rule "Date Added">"is in the last">"1">"Days" make the days and the interval to suit yourself, you can have days, weeks or months.
You can refine it to include or exclude items such as Podcasts for example by adding another line "Podcast">"Is True" or "Podcast">"Is False" and matching "All" the rules.
Check the box "Live Updating"

HT1338 My itunes keeps telling me i do not have enough access permissions to do anything. I had used all my hard drive space so i deleted some files. i deleted the downloads folder and a few others and this is when this problem occurred. Please help!

Had the same thing happen to me a few weeks back when I switched computers and migrated. Here's what worked on my iMac, so maybe it'll work on your iPad, too. Go to User(your home folder)/Music. Select/highlight your "Music" folder. Then do Command-I ("Get Info" from the File menu), click on the padlock icon in the lower right of the new window. Enter your user password. Click on your username just above the now-open padlock. Select "Read & Write" if it's on "Read Only," "Write Only," or "No Access." Now having your user account with "Read & Write" privileges (it may have been this way already; still do this next step), click on the gear on the bottom-center of that window. Click on "Apply to all enclosed items." When the pop-up says "Are you sure?" (or the equivalent), say "yes." This will grant access privileges to your user account for all the music files inside your music folder--all your iTunes stuff included). Then you should be good to go.

I'm having problems with my ipad and iPhone, and because of this I've been advised not to sync to tines until I can take them to the apple store. However, I've purchased several songs through the iTunes Store since my last back up, and if the devices get restored at the apple store,will these songs be lost because they're not on my laptops iTunes library? Whether you will need to repurchase them depends upon what country that you are in (music can't be redownloaded in all countries) and if they remain in your country's store (content providers occasionally remove their items from the store). Also none of your downloads from the store are included in a backup, when restoring to an iTunes backup it picks up your songs, apps etc from your iTunes library, it's things such as the contents of your apps (documents, files etc), emails, contacts etc that are in the actual backup.
