Accidently synced mom's phone with mine!

My mom got a new iphone 3GS, and i used my itunes which is synced with my iphone. i registered her NEW phone with her OLD itunes account, but for some reason she has all of my apps and none of her contacts. how can i get all of her old contacts from her old iphone? thanks.

Has she not been syncing her old phone as it is meant to be to a computer thus getting a backup of her data?
If she had been syncing her phone, then her apps and contacts and all other data would of been on her computer and thus could be synced to her new phone.
If she has not been syncing her phone...well, that is the issue.

You erased her content and replaced it with your content when you did this. She will have to sync with her own iTunes library on her computer now to restore all of her content. If she doesn't sync with iTunes, she can restore from and iCloud backup - if she backup with iCloud.
If she doesn't sync with iTunes or she doesn't have an iCloud backup, she is pretty much hosed. She will have to erase the device (in order to remove your content) and start all over again by downloading all of her content. She will not have to purchase the content again as long as she uses the same Apple ID that she bought the apps with, but all of her photos will be lost and unrecoverable now.

Open up iTunes, then go ahead and plug in your phone to the USB port on the back of the Mini using the USB cable that came with the phone.

Look under iTunes>Preferences>Devices...is there a backup listed for her phone? First thing done when you sync is an iPhone backup. If you have not synced since screwing her phone up, restoring from that backup(if it exists) should restore her content. Do not sync after you restore her phone, eject it. So, first disable auto-sync on that same device pane in iTunes before you proceed. If this doesn't work, is your sister bigger than you? If so, run 'cause her data is gone .

You'll have to resync using your own computer. It should restore from your backup.

If it's all of it, you will need to backup one iPhone and restore that to the others.
If it's just selected info, calendars, contacts, Apps, music, use the iCloud and syncing with a computer.

My 3GS is dying and it's synced to an older computer. I have tons of datafiles as well as apps, music, text messages, etc. that I need to get moved to the new iphone4 I'm getting. Then I need to move the sync to a newer computer so that I can sync the new phone and new computer.
I understand how to get my apps to transfer to a new pc. That's not the issue. It's getting ALL the data from the 3GS to the 4 and then to a new computer.

You can set up your e-mail account on the iphone and it will retrieve e-mail from your server just like your computer does.

Is "NILESH" the name of your computer or perhaps the name of your iPhone? What are you trying to achieve by connecting your iPhone to your PC via Bluetooth?
Only certain Bluetooth profiles are supported by the iPhone, the list of supported profiles is listed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3647
If you are attempting to use another profile then an unsupported message is to be expected.

I was trying to help my aunt set up her phone to itunes on my computer but when it asked me whether I wanted to set it as new device or use the backup from previous iphone data, I clicked restore from backup. I didn't realize that clicking that option would delete all of her information on the phone and relace it with mine. Her contacts, phones, notes, and all of her information are gone and replaced with mine just like my phone. Is there any way I can restore her phone because she really needs all those information orignally stored on her phone? She just got her phone not long ago and didn't backed up any of her information on her phone.

Can I sync two Nokia phones with Ovi Suite?

I have 2 different Nokia phones. I'd like to save my data to my PC, so I've just downloaded and installed Ovi Suite 2.2.1.23.
When I connected the second phone successfully, there was a green link that said something like "Get tips on syncing several phones with Ovi Suite". However when I clicked there, nothing happened.
When I click "Help->Nokia Ovi Suite Help" on the toolbar, nothing happens, no help tips.
The first phone synced all 82 photos and Contacts and messages to Ovi Suite.
I created a new album with that phone's name, and dragged those pictures from "All" to the new album, to try & keep them organized.
When I connected the second phone all of the Contacts synced (there were a lot) and now they are mixed in with the contacts from the first phone. However the photos would not sync. Then a few photos synced, making a total of 156 shown in All (which included the 82 photos from the first phone). When I would click "Sync" nothing visible happened.
But I did see the photos from the second phone on the PC. I did drag them from the PC into the album created with the name of the second phone.
Now when I look at the photo album with the first phone's name, it says "You have no photos or videos in this album, Drag photos and videos to this album." Yikes! But they are still on my PC.
This is very confusing. I agree with the others, Nokia PC Suite worked well, Ovi Suite seems very confused.
Is any of this uploaded to my online Ovi account?

Somewhere on the nokia ovi website it says you need to use seperate windows logins. Have one login for work and use that when you use ovi to sync your work phone. Other login to sync your personal phone. I lost the link to that webpage, but that is about all it said.
ronni333 - I also had problem with ovi help, the link appeared to be empty. I was using Google Chrome to surf the net. Problem solved by using Internet Explorer instead.

I do have iDVD, but, and I shouldn't have included the mention of eventually needing a DVD, my primary concern is to try and make an MPEG 4. I've tried using share to go to .m4v and the system tells me to shut iMovie down, and won't render it at all. That one time I did run the MPEG 4 as I said, the image looked terrible - not just mildly so, but in some parts almost unwatchable.
I'm running blind on editing at this point because of the size of the project - sound is garbled and it takes forever to do any sort of editing - all I get is the spinning wheel of death. I really just need to get an MPEG 4.
