ACCIENTLY CLICK Solved but want to change it to Helpful?
Once I read all the supports that others have gave me I just randomly clicked "solved" for one particular person at the end but turns out the guy at the beginning has the perfect answer how can i change this issue even though I know it wasn't a big issue but it would be helpful if I know anyways.

Sorry, but to the best of my knowledge, you can't change a "Solved" once awarded. If you are really concerned about it, you can apologize to the person to whom you really intended to award the "Solved" and let them know you appreciated the help.

Region encoding is the mechanism that enables motion picture studios to control the worldwide release of their movies. It is required by the DVD Forum (http://www.dvdforum.org/forum.shtml) in all commercial hardware DVD players. Every DVD-Video disc contains one byte of data representing a region code, which limits where the disc can be played.

I use Earthlink for email but want to change. What else do Apple-users like? I use MBA mid 2012 and iPod 5 touch. Concerns are email security and ease of changing pswds.
Apple has made several well-publicised statements regarding their commitment to privacy and the security of their various iCloud services. If they were to fall short of a goal they stated so prominently for so long, it would have a material effect on the company's value, not to mention being extremely embarrassing. I think they're pretty serious about it.
Like anything else though, iCloud is as secure as the passwords you use. To change your iCloud password read iCloud: Change your iCloud account password. -

pacman -S v86d
And then edit /etc/modprobe.d/uvesafb.conf
nano /etc/modprobe.f/uvesafb.conf
In the line that says "mode_option" set your resolution, e.g.
options uvesafb mode_option=1280x800-32 scroll=ywrap
Edit /etc/mkinitcpio.conf
nano /etc/mkinitcpio.conf
and add "v86d" to the hooks array after udev hook,e.g.
HOOKS="base udev v86d ..."
Finally rebuild the kernel image:
mkinitcpio -p kernel26
That's all...this is the preferred method for the framebuffer.

I've done spot healing in my images but want to change lens distortion corrections. Does it matter?
- I originally corrected all the lens distortion in my images with the default Adobe lens profile for the lens, and also done all the spot healing too. However, I now want to change the lens distortion profile to a profile that i've made instead. The Adobe default lens profile and the one that i have made give different distortion corrections (Adobe's is a bit too strong).
- Will all the spots chosen in the spot healing still be mapped correctly? i.e will the source points for the spot healing and the area i'm sampling from still be in the correct positions after adjusting for the new lens distortion?
- Does Lightroom allow for this, or do i have to re-do all the spot healing?Hey Paul,
Well, you could just try it to find out . But the answer is: Adobe adjusts spots (and paint, and red-eye...) to accomodate lens corrections. It's one of the reasons it is recommended to leave lens corrections until last if your Lightroom is performance challenged, i.e. it takes some horsepower.. (me? I like having lens corrections done up front, despite the performance hit).

We have deployed and configured a single Office Web Apps server farm to use HTTP, Using TechNet instructions e.g.:
New-OfficeWebAppsFarm -InternalURL "http://servername" -AllowHttp -EditingEnabled

Set-SPWOPIZone -zone "internal-http"

And everything is working perfectly fine !
We now need to change it to use HTTPS and we have a certificate for that. But, Since it has been already configured with HTTP and it already has a configured binding, How can I change all this to HTTPS ?you can try rebuilding the binding at SharePoint server -

Recorded with SIMULATED 16:9 but want to change to TRUE 16:9
So my JVC Mini-DV cam has a "widescreen" mode but it seems now that it is a simulated 16:9. After importing all of the footage, it left the black bars on the top and bottom AND stretched the video. I have HOURS of footage of my 21-month-old boy shot this way and I can't go back to re-film his life!!! I just want his movies to be in true 16:9 widescreen!!
With iMovie '09 I can crop the video to get rid of the black letterbox, but the remaining footage is still stretched as if it was shot in 4:3. One of my biggest pet peeves is stretched video on a widescreen TV!! Is there any solution out there? Maybe a plugin that can adjust the video? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I need to start editing this footage or my wife is going to kill meMy camera didn't do the stretching, iMovie HD did. I originally imported the footage to iMovie HD on my old computer and when I saw that it stretched it, I didn't continue with the editing. I have since purchased a new iMac and imported my old iMovie HD project into iMovie '09. I think when I originally imported the video into iMovie HD it "thought" the video was shot in 4:3 so it stretched it to fit the parameters.
How do I change the project to 4:3? This seems to bring up another problem though. Not all of my footage was shot like this. Once I realized what it was doing, I began shooting in true 16:9....so my early footage is all jacked up and the more recent is the way I want it. If I did change the project to 4:3 and fix the problem, then how would I incorporate my other footage that is in true 16:9? Can I fix that footage, save it, then import it as a new 16:9 project and merge it with my other footage?

Can I change my apple ID on my iCloud storage without loosing what I already have stored with a different email address? How do I do that?
If you haven't already created a new ID with your Gmail account address, you can simply rename your current iCloud ID to that by going to My Apple ID. Click on Manage your Apple ID and sign in with your Apple ID name and password. Click Edit and enter the new information, then click Save Changes. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the renamed ID. This deletes the account and any data you are syncing with iCloud from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account, your data will be synced back to your device when you sign back in. Before deleting the account, save your photo stream photos to your camera roll (tap Edit, tap all the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll).
If you already have a new ID, you'll have to migrate your data from the current account to a new account using that ID. To do this, go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, choose Keep on my iDevice when prompted, then sign back in with your Gamail ID, turn on your iCloud data syncing and choose Merge to upload your data to the new account. Before deleting the account email any notes you may be syncing with iCloud to yourself as they cannot be migrated to the new account. If you are syncing iWork documents with iCloud, also go to your iWork app settings and turn off iCloud syncing before deleting the account. Also save your photo stream photos to your camera roll before deleting the account. -

Sure - what version of iPhoto? Ad is OS X 10.4.8 as you state correct?
Assuming it is not and you have iPhoto '11 then you simple select the book and duplicate it (Command D), open the copy and click on "change theme" and select the same theme and the new size -
Before ordering your book preview it using this method - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1040 - and save the resulting PDF for reference - the delivered book will match it.
the preview is critical since with a new size text may reflow

Then I try to change the framerate with JMStudio, it doest not make any difference as well, it seems keep playing the video with preferred frame rate as well. Any ideas?

If you don't want to use an alias you'll have to create a new account as you cannot change the @icloud.com address once created. You'll have to create a new ID, verify the ID, then use the ID to create the new account, and migrate your iCloud data to the new account.
If you are currently syncing data with iCloud, begin by saving any photo stream photos to your camera roll as mentioned above. If you are syncing Notes with iCloud, you'll also need to open each of them and email them to yourself so they can be recreated in the new account. Finally, if you are syncing any iWork documents with iCloud, turn off iCloud syncing in your iWork app settings.
Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, and choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted. Then in Settings>iCloud tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom, set up your new ID, verify the email address you use to create it by responding to Apple's verification email, then sign in with the new ID to create your new account. Turn on your iCloud sync settings and choose Merge when prompted to upload your data to the new account. When you turn Mail to On you will be prompted to create your new @icloud.com email address. Be carefull to type it correctly as it cannot later be changed. -

If you have a new email address then create a new mail account for that email address.
In Thunderbird:
File > New > select 'Existing mail account'
or
Menu Icon > New Messages > select 'Existing mail account'
when creating the mail account, make sure you select the type of mail account you require...Pop or IMAP

If you have the same email address but want to change the server it uses.
If you currently have an IMAP mail account and you are wanting to close it, you would need to get a copy of any emails into Local Folders first.
Synchronise the folder for offline use, then in offline mode get a copy of emails into Local Folders.
If you have a pop mail account, the emails are already on your computer.
To change the server, but not email address:
you will need to know your server settings first.
Thenright click on mail account name in Folder Pane and select 'Settings'
select the Server sEttings for the account
or Tools > Account Settings > Server Settings for the account
