Accordion opens in the wrong direction

I'm trying to make a full scren site. I have found that if I want certain items to stay in place when the browser is expanded to full screen, I need to pin them.
I'd like to use an accordion to contain my menu, but when I place it correctly in the design panel, it loses it's position when previewing. A pin in the lower left corner fixes this. The accordion is where it should be and stays in position when resizing the browser window. Only problem is, the accordion opens upward instead of downward. If I unpin it, it works correctly but loses position. If I choose one of the other pins, it opens correctly but still loses it's position. Seems like I'm missing something simple here, but I just don't understand what's causing this. Any ideas?

First, publish your site to a folder on the desktop and launch it in your browser by double clicking the index.html file to see if it works OK.
If it is OK then you have a publishing problem.
If it isn't then the problem is in iWeb.
Make sure you use a good FTP application to upload your files and not the one supplied by your hosting company.

Mission control animates in the wrong direction when you start in full screen mode

When I am in fullscreen mode, open mission control, and swipe left to right the animation moves in the wrong direction. The correct space appears, but it animates as if I swiped right to left. All subsequent swipes work correctly until I close mission control and follow the same steps again.
Whats going on?

Overview page opens/highlighted the wrong tab, but the right view

Hi all,
I'm Using EP7.0 and SP22.I copied the UWL iView from this location (content provided by Sap --> End User Content --> Standard Portal User --> iViews --> com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl.iviews --> Universal Worklist).
Changed the iView Properties:
Display UWL Overview Page = Yes
I customized the standard- and webflow.xml files.I created an extra tab with own columns in the UWL.
That iView works fine.. It displays the Overview look and feel and my extra (invoics) tab. My Problem is
when i click the link (Tasks, Notification, Alerts and Tracking) in the Oveview page, it opens the corresponding Tab look and feel , but when I click on my extra tab (Invoices) it opens the Task tab instead of my extra (invoices) tab. The view is showing the right items (customize columns), only the wrong tab is highlighted. For the end-user it's a little bit confusing.
I also like to change the picture on the oveview page.
what can i do? how to achieve this? please help me..

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I have two monitors on my Mac. Running FF3.6.16 new windows now want to open on the wrong monitor. How do I get FF to open on the main display?

I have an eMac with a second display. I am running OS X 10.4.11 (Tiger) and Firefox 3.6.16. Everything was working fine until the other day I opened a second window in Firefox and dragged it to my secnd monitor. I later closed it. Since then all New Window requests, including when starting Firefox always open on the second monitor. How do I tell Firefox I want my main monitor has the primary monitor?

It has nothing to do with the Mac, but more with the software exporting the displays on the PC. A typical VNC server will generally only export the primary monitor.
What PC software are you using to export the display(s), and what Mac software are you using to view the PC displays? That may help someone come up with a workable solution for you (or not ).

[Openbox] [Multi monitor] My applications open on the wrong screen

I'm using obconf and I told openbox to "Prefer to place new windows on: The monitor with the mouse". Unfortunately that doesn't work at all. Half of my windows still open on the leftmost monitor. Some open where they are supposed to, while others don't.
I'm using nvidia twinview with three screens in case that matters.

It just started working properly again, other than a moment where it said the tv couldn't handle 1080 resolution (normally it works just fine on 1080). I dind't do anything between then and now eitherdon't use the adi
I don't use the admin account normally, but when I signed into it I still had the same problems. Even after setting it up like you suggest and restarting.
It's good for now, only difference being it's set to 720p resolution. When it messes up again, I'll make another comment I'm sure.

When I open a new tab it opens in the wrong window

I have 3 or 4 windows containing lots of relevant tabs open at all times. Helps me organize my work stuff. All of a sudden today if I try to open a new tab in one window it opens in another window. Incredibly irritating and will be a huge problem when I'm back to work tomorrow morning. Can anybody help?

You may be working in a ''dialog window''.
Starting in Firefox 4, it is intended behavior that a dialog window not be able to have new tabs. However, the developers may have applied this principle to too many styles of windows merely because the window is "small."
To open a new "normal" window, you can press Ctrl+n or use File > New Window.
A bug already has been filed (many, actually) complaining about this change, and suggesting some tweaks to this feature so that it only affects popups which were truly intended to behave like dialogs.

Because posts on a bug get sent to everyone on a long mailing list, it is considered poor etiquette (spamming) to add "me too" comments to a bug. However, you can "vote" for a bug to get fixed, so it might be worth registering on Bugzilla to do that if you are affected by this on a day-to-day basis.
As a temporary workaround, I created a Greasemonkey userscript. It adds a button to pages detected to be in a dialog window so you can reload them in a regular window. As a 0.1 version it's not perfect, but if you run into this problem frequently, hopefully it will help.

Why does another users profile sometimes open in the wrong windows login?

Today my son was logged into his Windows 7 login, and tried to install the plug-in from PageRage.com which adds to his Firefox (8.0.1). When it restarted his Firefox browser it opened my Firefox instead, with my tabs, bookmarks, persona, everything. The plug-in shows up in my add-on on my Firefox. I closed it and reopened Firefox from his quick launch button and his opened up, but the add-on was not there. How can I stop my Firefox from opening on other users on my computer, and keep his add-ons on his Firefox?

Are you using the same Windows account?
Are you using the profile manager to start Firefox with a specific profile or do you use desktop shortcuts to start Firefox with a specific profile?
In that case Firefox may have opened the profile that is selected as the last used profile in the Profiles Manager (profiles.ini -> Default=1)

Linux: downloaded files open with the wrong application

I'm using Firefox 31.0 on Ubuntu 14.04.
I've downloaded a DJVU-file. The filetype association on my PC is to open it in evince. However, when I use the drop-down download menu in the toolbar, where the last downloads are listed, to open the DJVU file, it is opened with gedit. If I select "Show All Downloads" and double-click the downloaded DJVU in the window that opens up, then it is correctly opened in evince.
What happens here? Why does Firefox use gedit for the drop-down list but the correct application in the library window? How can I fix this?

Well, this is not precisely what I wanted to do: my option in the Application settings is set to "Always ask", and this is what I would like Firefox to do. However, after the file is saved, I expect that it is opened with my system's default application for DJVU files, but Firefox just keeps opening it with the text editor (gedit) if I click on the file in the download drop-down menu in the toolbar.
Meanwhile, I have figured out how to fix it, however I find that this should work from the beginning without having to fix it.
The problem was that in the application settings there was no default application set for that file type, although my system specifies one (see first picture).
After I have selected "User other..." and set it to my preferred programme for DJVU files (evince), the menu has changed (see second picture). Now, even if I leave the option "Always ask" set, the correct application is used for opening that file type.
There are several questions which I am wondering about:
1) Why is this not set to system's default application if the user has not manually specified anything else? I think using the text editor instead is not the best option.
2) Why is the behavior in the downloads window (="Library") different from the drop-down menu? Even with the default programme not set in the applications preferences, clicking on the file in the downloads windows opens system's default programme.
I am not sure if this is the desired behavior, for me it seems slightly inconsistent.

Mobile flyout menu opens from the wrong side (left to right)

Something strange: my menu doesn't open as smartly as in the sample. It appears from left to right instead of right to left. WTF??
Obviously, the effect is not the same.
Is it possible to control it?

Pages always opens a new window on the wrong monitor

Is there anyway to fix this I don't understand why always open on the wrong monitor I can't seem to open on the correct one

OS X 10.8.4:
Drag the window back to the correct monitor and position it where you want it to open. Make certain that you actively save and close your documents before quitting Pages.
In System Preferences > General, check the box adjacent to Close windows when quitting an application.
Your Shutdown, Restart, and Logout dialogs should have the “Reopen windows when logging back in” unchecked.
If this does not correct the problem, select all contents (command+A) of the following folder only, and then use the right button to select the menu item, “Move to Trash.”
/Users/yourlogin-name/Library/Caches/
Also, drag the following file to the Trash as well:
/Users/yourlogin-name/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iWork.Pages.plist
Empty the Trash. (You may have to reboot to fully empty the Trash.)
The next time you launch Pages, the application window will open where you want it.

NWBC opens GUI in the wrong system

Hi all,
I have a problem with GUI transactions opening in the wrong system. The description for the logonpad in the NWBC system connection is correct, but i do have multiple definitions for the same systems (e.g. different cockpits, etc).
In short I get the wrong system, and the description of the system that opens isnt even found in any system definition in my NWBC config..
Any ideas?

Launching Microsoft Access from Internet Explorer to view a downloaded MDB file opens the wrong file (not a problem if I use Firefox)

When clicking on a link (in Internet Explorer 9) to download an Access MDB file and then choosing to open the file directly in Microsoft Access (2007) instead of saving it, the file is copied to Temporary Internet Files but Microsoft Access tries to open
a different file and displays an (Unrecognized database format) error.
When I click on the option to open the file, the MDB file is copied to Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5 but instead of that file, Access tries to open a different (incorrect) file located in Temporary Internet Files\Content.MSO (e.g. in the above error
message, NativeView.do is an XML file containing an error message).
I don't see this problem with Word, Excel or PowerPoint files. When opening a Word file (without saving) the Word file is copied to Content.IE5 but an identical .tmp file is created in Content.MSO which when opened in Microsoft Word displayed the required file
correctly. The same happens for Excel files. PowerPoint appears to be handled a little differently (no .tmp file created in Content.MSO but the required file is still copied to Content.IE5) but the PPT file is still opened correctly in Microsoft PowerPoint.
I think the Content-Type "application/msaccess" is fine because Internet Explorer does launch Microsoft Access. It just tries to open the wrong file (or so I think). However, it looks like the file type is not being determined. Here is what I noticed
when trying to open different Microsoft Office files using Internet Explorer:
The last one is the MDB file. As you can see, only for this type of file, the "Type" (Microsoft Office Access 2007?) is not displayed in this Open/Save dialog box.
On Firefox, I don't see this problem. When I tried clicking on the link to the MDB file in Firefox, Microsoft Access was launched and the file was opened correctly. Is there something I can do so the MDB file is opened properly using IE? I can add/change headers
in the HTTP response that writes this file to the output stream (on disk) if that helps.
