I have a requirement for factsheet where I need to get the Acoount address view to the BP_FACTSHEET
Component of the factSheet which is not available in the standard views of the factsheet.

After downloading a free app, I got an email stating that my Apple account address had been changed. I did not change my address. Require to change the address in the Work address view of the contact

Hi All,
We have a requirement in which the user access a Contact. In it he access the Work Address assignment block navigates through the "EDIT" button.In that view the Address field is non editable, which remains editable only when the user is assigning the new address. When i make that field editable on the event of EDIT button also then it becomes a dropdown and on selecting a value other than the saved value, and on saving the same it does not saves the changed address although all other changed values of other editable fields are saved successfully.
Can anyone suggest any other approach for changing the same address on that particular view? or any suggestion for saving the same value.

Hi Sharad,
to change the address of the contact you must change in "Main Address and Communication Data" view. The work address view is responsible for storage the address of main account.

Listing up business transactions from Account's View

Hie, When we Open Ship to party from IC Web, We have Assignment block "Quotations" at IC WEB from Accounts view. But it does not pull any quotations.
But it does pull for sold to party. I have checked SPRO settings for Customer Relationship Management->Master Data->Business Partner->Specify Display Options for Business Transactions and I maintained Area = QU.
But i still cant see Qutation list from Account's VIEW.
Can anyone advice me please? where i can make settings for Sold to part , ship to party etc??

Hi,
this is something which you can´t change by configuration.
You have to do a small UI-development.
Open your component / view in tx bsp_wd_cmpwb.
I guess in your case the component is BP_BPBT and the view is AccountQuotationsOV.
You have to go to the context node.
Here please check the coding in ON_NEW_FOCUS and redefine it according to your needs.

Current period in Accounting 1 view of Material Master

In Accounting 1 view of Material Master there is a current period, now it is 12 2009.
Is it possible to make it 11 2009, if yes how to do it.

Please read the Solution part of note 487381. There is still a few things need to be carry out before you can proceed
with the initialization :
Bear in mind that the initialization of a posting period has the
following effects concerning the period stocks:
    o The initialization of the posting period to a previous or to any
       posting period may lead to the loss of the information of the
       inventory balances of the previous periods.The book value of the
       current posting period is taken as the basis also for values of
       the previous period in this case.
       If you want to continue working with this new posting period, in
       addition you should execute report Z_DEL_HIST_ENTRIES attached so
       that history entries greater or equal to the new posting period
       will be deleted.
    o If you have to briefly reset the posting period by one period
       (for example, postings must still be posted in a certain period)
       just to make a correction (and for a small number of postings),
       you should initialize the posting period back again to the old
       value so that the values of the previous period will not be lost
       (you should forbid postings when carrying out corrections).
       However, afterwards the values of the previous period or the
       history records (as of Release 4.5) of the materials posted in
       this case are inaccurate.
       You should NOT execute report Z_DEL_HIST_ENTRIES in this case.
    o However, if the posting period is generally reset again to a
       previous posting period and if postings were made during this
       time, all information on the inventory balance of the previous
       periods is lost.
       As of Release 4.5a, you should use the cited correction report
    Z_DEL_HIST_ENTRIES in order to delete history records that are
    more current than the current posting period.Otherwise, it can
    result in deviations (inconsistencies) for the update of the
    history records.
o Important! If there are open physical inventory documents that
    have status 'counted' or for which indicator 'Freeze inventory
    balance' has been set, you should reject these if they refer to a
    previous period or have been created in the former previous
    period.The inventory difference to be posted can be determined
    from the current book value of the previous period and the book
    quantity frozen in the physical inventory document (ISEG-BUCHM)
    and does not match the inventory balance of the previous period
    that is currently valid.

How to display multiple account addresses in a report ?

Seems to be easy to do but I didn't succeed.
Some of our accounts can have several addresses (5 or 6 store locations) and I didn't succeed to display them in my report.
I was just able to get the shipping and billng.

What subject area are you using? You should be able to get all the addresses from the Account Addresses subject area.

I have a yahoo mail account address - Mail will not work with that?

I tried to mail an email using my Yahoo mail account address. Mail sent it back to me saying that Yahoo rejected it.
Do I just keep using mailing from Yahoo instead of Mail to keep things working?
When I click on an e-mail address Mail does come up as my default mail program. How can I change that back to Yahoo using Safari? I've asked that question of Yahoo, but they just tell me to use Firefox, which I do not want to do. I like Safari and will simply fight the Mail program back if I have to. There must be a way to get it under control though - I hope.
I do use Mail to back up notes from my iPhone. It does work for that just fine.

Here is Mail getting in the way again. I appreciate your information, I downloaded Notifier and got to the point of above, needing to go to preferences in Mail. Mail will not let me go to preferences unless I give Mail an e-maill account to service. I do not want Mail to service an account. Mail is a nasty obtrusive program that wants to be in the driver's seat of my computer system. If I give Mail my gmail account set up again, using that italian program that also is a hack to my system, I will need to do that just to access Mail preferences so I can tell Mail that it is okay to use Gmail?
Something is fishy in Denmark to be sure.
I'm going to delete Notifier.app until I am able to see what gives with Mail.

Later post, I think this post has also taken it that I want to use Mail, Read my many statements, over a dozen by now, that I do not want to use Mail. I want to compose my outgoing mail in GMail. I want GMail to be my default mail program. I wan Apple Mail to Die! (at this point, that seems impossible to accomplish.)
It's simple, but I will repeat and repeat. I simply want to be able to click on a link, like a link in Craigslist to respond to an ad, and have the GMail compose e-mail come up ready to respond to the Craigslist ad.

EVen more frustration now, I tried the notifier icon in the menu bar and selected compose mail and it tried to open up Apple Mail. How can I get rid of Apple Mail and let my system know that I want the GMail account to come up to compose my email in GMail (what I was trying to do with Yahoo until I got nowhere with Yahoo, now I'm trying to see if I can get GMail to work as my default mail program.

You can (Authorization material master by views of accounting & costing ) achieve this by way of authorization control. In transaction PFCG, select your role for creating / changing the material master. Select option Maintenance statuses. Then at change status option select views that you want to give the authorization to the users. Create profile & save the role. Now assign the role to the users. They will get only those views you have selected. You have to select those views in all the roles related to material master (create, change, display).Better Consult Basis Consultant,

Hi,
Login to portal with a user having content administration role.
Navigate to your iview which must be under content provide by SAP(if its a standard iview).
Open the iview and click on preview button.
Then press ctr on keyboard and rightmouseclick on the field for which you want to change.
A popup will open. Change the visibility in the popup and save the changes. This is a way of personalization and it'll be applicable for all the users.

IB search on the basis of the account address

I'm working on SAP CRM 2007: I configured an Interaction Center Business Role, in particular on Service scenario.
The account identification process develops through this steps:
1) I identify an account;
2) I confirm the contact person;
3) I select one of the IBs accociated to the account I've just recognized
If I would like to disply, after having identified the account and confirmed the contact person, all the IBs installed upon the account address, what I have to do? I mean, can I change the "rule" according to wich it is possible to choose an IB only among the ones are associated to account "name" with a new one that permits to display all the IBs installed in the same street of the customer (always after having identified the account)?

In transaction CRMC_IC_BPPROFX, in the Object Components folder, you can determine whether the automatic search for IObject/IBase components is done based on the account, the contact person, or both. Does this help?

We are loading Material Master data for one client. We are using LSMW to load this object
We have uploaded u201CMoving Price (MBEW-VERPR)u201D in Accounting 1 view at valuation category level. Unfortunately incorrect value has been loaded Is it possible to change??
We donot have stock for this materials.
When I tried to do this using MM02, I understand that itu2019s grayed out field and cannot be changed in second attempt.
Let me know if there is any other procedure to handle the situation??

How to enable the standard price in the accounting -1 view of material mast

When i was trying to create a material of material Type: FERT, Iam unable to enter the price of the material in the accounting -1 view-> standard price.
The field has been disabled.
So please tell me how to enable the standard price.

in valuation check which price control is allowed
it should be std. price
go to OMSR check MBEW-STPRS note field group
in OMS9 for this group and material combination check whether that field is maintained as display

Copying Account Address Information to a Contact

Is there a way that the associated Account Address information can be copied to the Contact Address area on a Contact by Contact basis without doing it for all Contacts?
Is there a button or anything that can be pressed on a Contact screen?

Contact Address have two address fields. Account Address field is coming from Account and Contact's Address (which can be different).
I don't think it is possible to populate Account's Address into Contact's Address automatically.
