Account change, reset and slow ADSL??

Question

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and looking for advice and possibly help from the Mod's.
My wife has recently retired from BT and we consequently moved from an employee contract to a standard customer contract. When the new contract became effective, a few things changed unexpectedly: our Openzone/FON settings became enabled (we had opted out), our BT Talk account stopped working and, most annoyingly, our download speed became pegged at 576kbps. We had previously obtained over 2Mbps.
I fixed the first two issues myself but several fruitless calls to India has failed to fix the speed problem. Just to check there wasn't any real problem, I have carried out the quiet line check recommended on this forum, with no noise heard. I've also tried all the resetting/rebooting, etc. that India requires every time I call them.
I have a single Master socket, with no extensions and tried swapping the splitter/filter and also plugging straight into the test socket, all with no improvement. My HomeHub 2 reports:

So over three days since latest reboot, with a high Noise Margin and no improvement. Do I need a BRAS profile reset?
Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

Hi you are on a fixed speed connection of 1/2 a mb you do not need a profile reset
You need to contact the forum mod team and ask them to move you off this very old product that is no longer sold
