Account constantly getting disabled

Every 3 or 4 days, I get a message saying that my account has been disabled for security reasons and have to reset my password. Why does this keep happening? Is someone attempting to guess my password, causing the lockout? If someone is trying to access my iDisk and enters the wrong password several times, will that lock out account? I'm stumped.

I am assuming that this is your iTunes password?
If it helps; if it's disabled for security reasons, this means that someone is incorrectly guessing your password, and is then locked out.
Try contacting them about this, they might be able to tell you what's going on.

I am working for Ericsson. Recently during a upgrade for a customer, we migrated from SAP BO XI 3 to BI 4 Platform. Everything is running fine, but the Administrator account keeps getting disabled from time to time. They need to login from any other account with Administrator rights to enable the Administrator account to resume operations. What can be done for this problem?

Try to check if the administrators group have already enough rights.
Also verify if one of the admin users is modifying the rights for the administrator.

IMAP accounts keeps getting disabled

I have MobileMe and 3 IMAP accounts and for some reason my 3 IMAP accounts keeps getting disabled and I would have to go into preferences and re-enable the accounts.
Does anyone know what's happening here? I also just done a reset sync data on MobileMe to see if that's the cause... Please let me know if you have any idea what may be causing this problem...

Ive just taken the punge and bought my first new Macbook pro.. whats infuriating me is the constant disabling of my account everytime I log in... my password is a very strong password and I nearly gave up with my iPOD because of this. If this doesnt get sorted soon I may take this laptop back... (id rather not)

I go to App Store and every time I pick an app it says my id is disabled then I reset and it disables right after

Mnt Lion Svr-Accts created in WorkGroupMngr get disabled

Anyone know why all the new accounts I set up in Workgroup manager get disabled imediately in profile manager? Sometimes they get disabled and other times they work. It seems to be happening with all new accounts I have created in the last two days. I cannot recreate them, or re-enable the accounts. If I enable the account as soon as the client tries to log in it imediately disables the account. I am using MLServer with SnowLeopard Clients. Thus I am using Workgroup Manager which is supposed to work.

I managed to get the login for the users working by using the command line (you might have to also use the -n /LDAPv3/"server" e.g. /LDAPv3/127.0.0.1):
pwpolicy -a "diradminusername" -u "username" setpolicyglobal
I still don't know why or how the policy for new users was/is changed and why the global policy is not in effect. I hope I don't have to apply the above command for each user ...

IPod Touch Stolen and Account is frequently disabled

My iPod Touch was stolen several weeks ago and I frequently get locked out of my Apple account (including access to the iTunes Store). I always go to reset my password only to get locked out again later. I'm assuming it has to do with someone using my stolen iPod. Is there anything I can do to make this stop happening?

Clearly if the account is getting disabled its because this person does not know the password. I don't really want to have to switch all of my apps and content to another account.
Also, how does one contact Apple? Navigating support for an Apple ID on apple.com is painful and not exactly the kind of usability this company is known for.

I am about to pull my hair out. My itunes account has been disabled............or at least that's what it says everytime I want to update my apps....I can't do it. Then it sends me to a useless web address www.apples.com/itunes/storesupport/forassistance it never helps me. I've changed my password, etc. But I can't get my apps updated or the "Apple" in the sky to fix it...I don't know where to go for customer service....Any suggestions?

I updated the software on my iphone4 tonight and ran into this same endless loop - "itunes terms & conditions have been changed" - go to itunes, aceept - back to the "T&C have been changed message" with no ability to do anything in the app store until I accepted the new terms.
While not a very direct solution, I was able to finally accept the terms in a way that seem to register with apple by making a purchase through iTunes on my computer. This forced me through updating my payment information and updating my iTunes software to the latest edition (which I had not yet taken the time to do). After doing both of these, iTunes took me through the terms & conditions on two separate pages, but ultimately allowed me to purchase my song. Once I completed these steps, it fixed the problem on my phone, so now I can update my apps and download new ones without running into that loop.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Remove the help-desk access to user objects and see if it gets disabled again or not. :)
If you have third party tools which manage user accounts, review their configuration. FIM for example is one of the tools that has authority to disable/enable the accounts. Also If I had no clue what is going one I would enable auditing on user objects and
filter my security event viewer for user changes to see who is disabling them.

Because someone's trying to mislead you into giving them your iTunes Store login information. Forward all such emails to [email protected] and then delete them.
If there's an actual problem with your iTunes Store account, you'll be told at the time you try to purchase or download something.
