Account created with my email

I've got another email address, which I use only for personal things and i got an email saying that my new account was successfully registered or something along those lines, however i did not create that account and want it to be terminated, I've looked around and not sure what's the best way to get this sorted

Request to delete all the Lenovo accounts associated with my email address

Made the mistake of registering my Lenovo accounts on the US site which means that I cannot register any account information relevant to the UK (my address is one example) so can you either delete all the accounts associated with my email address so that I can create a new account on the UK site OR can you place all the accounts associated with my email under the UK site. Bogus account created using my email, unable to cl...

Just a few minutes ago I got a welcome to skype email to an alias of my real email address. This is a bogus account created using my email.
To take control of this bogus account, I used the "lost password" functionality which successfully sent me a reset token, however when I attempt to use this reset token, skype reports that the token is not recognised.
How can I claim control of this bogus account that is using my identity? Or how can I get this bogus account deleted?

I just realised something very significant!
I got the welcome to skype email approx 20 minutes ago.
Just prior to getting this apparently bogus account, I had clicked an link from a friend that was hosted on Sky Drive (approx 26 mins ago).
Now, my alias email address has been used to access other microsoft services online before, but had never been used for skype.
Evidently I was signed into the live account that used my email alias, and when I clicked the sky drive link, Big Brother decided I also wanted a skype account using that alias!
Ok so this isn't identity theft but still, what the hell? I didn't want to sign up to skype! Why on earth did a bogus skype account get created for me automatically? And why can't I now claim the password for this account?
This is freaky Microsoft! Why are you doing this? Can't you just let me silently tracked in an invisible way? Can't you let me at least pretend I'm not being tracked? Why do you have to be so 1984 here?
Proposed solution: let's all move to the hills, become nature loving nudists who disdain modern technology, and we should all wear tin foil hats.

Accounts Being Created With My Email

I've just recieved about three emails saying that I have created three separate Skype accounts. I have not created these accounts, and it seems to be the work of spammers. Can they be deleted and prevent any forms of my email address from being able to create accounts?
I have recieved emails that say that michaelsquitieri1, michaelsquitieri12, and michaelsquitieri121 were all created from one email address.

Unknown account associated with my email

I am brand new to skype, have never had an account or used it before. There are two accounts linked to my email, one is the one I created and one is totally unknown to me, not a screen name user name that looks familiar or means anything to me. It's very bothersome that there is this unknow username with my email. How do I get it removed?? I know nothing about when this unknown account was added or by who. It is a total stranger to me.

anyone can indeed create an account and register any email address, including those the user don't own or non-existing at all. you may need to report that username to [email protected], then request to unlink your email address from that account.

Can you have multiple iTunes accounts associated with one email address?

My current iTunes account is associated with my company email address that I am attempting to change to my personal email address that I share with my husband.The problem is his iTunes account is also associated with this email address. Is there a way to add my account to our joint email address?

No. Purchases made on each account are permanently tied to a unique email address and cannot be changed, and accounts cannot be merged. I think you can add an alternate email address for correspondence if/when you can no longer access email at the original address. See HE68: Apple ID: Associating and verifying email addresses with your Apple ID for more information.

Unknown Skype ID created with my Email account

I forgot my password. In the password recovery page i entered my email address, received a mail from skypre and followed the link given in the email. On the page that appeared after clicking on the link, i was informed that there are two Skype id's linked to my email address and for which one i needed to recover password. I have never created another id and i do not remember receving or verifying any email from Skype regarding the second Skype id. How do i get rid of the other ID?

You can take control of the rogue account by changing its password - why people set up accounts using other peoples' e-mail addresses never ceases to surprise me. Then, you can contact Skype Customer Service to request the account be removed/deleted. More details here: 'Can I delete my Skype account?'

Skype is aware of website problems when attempting to reach their customer service unit and is working to resolve these issues. If you experience difficulty reaching Skype Customer Service, try again using a different web browser and choosing a different path through the various drop-down menu options presented. Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also impede reaching an agent.

Email Account Created with a profile but not deleted when the profile was removed.

When I was working on creating a mobileconfig file to lead our users through setting up their email I inadvertently created a script that would create two email accounts instead of just one. When I removed the profile from the device it only uninstalled one of the email accounts it created. When I go into the account that was left on the device the "Delete / Remove" button is not there. Any suggestions on how I can remove the orphaned account without reseting my device?

In the affected account (admin) go to: System Preferences > Universal Access > select the Seeing tab > now look down at the Display: section and make sure that Enhance contrast: is set to Normal.

Cannot login with a account created with workgroup manager on local box

Hi my name is richard and i recentgly acqquired from one of ,y friends a macbook pro with leopard 10.5.7 and I downloaded the server tools to it because workgroup manager gives me more control over user creation and the like.there are three issues that i am facing right now:
1) I create an account for a user "VERONICA MARS" short name vmars with a password of apple. when I try to login using that account the login window just sits there and shakes its head at me like no no no wrong cridentials.
2) using the same account vmars i try to reset her password using wgm and it says that it cannot reset the password.
3) when i try to create the account it tells me that the home directory cannot be created.
oh and heres a bonus one:
most of the time in wgm it takes forever to get from one tab to the next and ill have to do a force quit to restore my mkac back to normal.
if anyone can help with these issues please respond

Accounts created with SYSDBA not making it to Standby.

Running Oracle 11g R2 on RHEL 5.5
Primary with a Physical Standby
All single instance (NON-RAC)
We are trying to set up the Standby so we can run RMAN backup off of it.
While setting this up we noticed that users created on Primary with SYSDBA granted to them did not make it completely to the Standby.

Both of Primary and Standby have parameter setting of REMOTE_LOGIN_PASSWORDFILE=EXCLUSIVE.
The user accounts JSMITH and BUADMIN are there on Standby. But we can not "remote login" because the password file are missing the related entries.
Can anyone help me understand why it seems that user accounts JSMITH and BUADMIN did not make it to the Standby's password file?

The scenario is that we want to be able to initiate the RMAN connection commands from a different server.
That different server hosting a database with the RMAN catalog.
The machine hosting the RMAN catalog is also the machine that host the 3rd Party Tape backup software.
Yes we will delete the JSMITH test user that currently has sysdba. ; )

I found the agent for composing text messages in my Verizon cloud, but I don't find an email account anywhere.

You do not have a verizon wireless email account. People can send text messages and multimedia messages to your phone with your phone number [email protected] (for text) or [email protected] for longer messages or to send you pix or video as a text message.
If you have Verizon residential service and that is your ISP for your home, then I believe THAT has an email address or addresses. Your wireless phone service does not.

You don't need access to the email address to log in to the Apple ID and you can change the email if required.
Assuming you don't need it for any services, as you can't actually delete an Apple ID, log in here (link) and remove all personal details from the page and then cease using that account.

My husband and I both have user profiles on our MacBook Pro. When he is signed on with his profile, he can see my gmail contents from his email account mixed with his email. How do we separate our profiles?

Thanks Barney. To answer your first idea, these aren't alerts of the "alert me 15 minutes before the start of the event" type. Subscribers can switch those off by selecting "Ignore Alerts" in the calendar's Info pane:
My problem is that email alerts are being raised after any and all activity in my calendar:
If I create an event, subscribers receive an immediate email (like the one below)
If I change the title of an event (i.e. 100% of the time), subscribers receive another an immediate email. This clearly wrong behaviour makes me wonder if we've encountered a bug.
If I edit an event, subscribers receive an immediate email.
If I delete an event, subscribers receive an immediate email.
Secondly, these messages are apparently coming from iCloud. Here's what the subscriber sees when I create an event (I created this without editing the title, hence "New Event"):
I deleted my calendar from my wife's iCal calendar list and added it again. No change. I created a new calendar, and subscribed her to it, no change. Oh, and I am subscribed to her calendar, but I receive no email alerts (which is what we want).
She has an iPhone but I can't find any setting there that demands an email update for all calendar activity.
Finally, I'd add that it hasn't always been like this. These alerts only appeared recently.
