Ciao a tutti stò provando a sincronizzare due nuovi account email creati sul mac, con iphone 5 ed anche l'ipad ma con il nuovo itunes risulta sparita questa possibilità ??
Avete soluzioni o l'alternativa è quella di ricreare sui dispositivi gli account email da nuovi ?

iTunes doesn't sync that information. You would have to use Documents & Data in iCloud.

to remove that account.
go to settings > iTunes & App Stores > click on that apple ID then sign out.

When I try to do something on the App Store on my iPad, it brings up a notice to sign on, which reflects the old email address, and rejects my password since the username/email address is no longer correct. Puzzled!

I have another question for the community. My daughter tells me that my texts to her show my primary email address as the account name of the sender (me) when I text her, rather than my cell phone number from which I'm texting her. I've had others report that to me too. How do I turn that off so that recipients see my cell phone number displayed as the sending party and not my email address? Thanks -

Help - How To Add Email Account To ITunes

I’ve added a Gmail account to my iPhone (original model using iTunes 7.7 & OS 2.0) and Entourage and Mail applications. It works fine in both applications and the iPhone.
My problem is that it does not appear in the list of my older mail accounts in iTunes when I sync my iPhone. It appears that iTunes does not recognize the newly added Gmail account even though it is fully functional.
Does anyone know how to add an email account to iTunes so that its settings will be synced?

I am having the same problem. Two mail accounts on the computer but none show up in itunes. They did the first time I synced the phone and now they are gone, unfortunately the first time i synced I didn't sync the mail accounts and on the second sync I was going to set up the mail accounts but they've vanished. Very strange. I've searched and have seen another post on this problem, but no solution.

Whatever the reasons are that you think the problem exists, you will not be able to resolve it on your own. Did you see this at the bottom of the support article that I suggested that you read?

Yes - gifts are sent to an email address not to the iTunes account, the email has a redemption code in it which the recipient then redeems. The recipient needs to be in the same country as yourself, he/she won't be able to redeem it if their account is in a different country's store.

Welcome to the Apple community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
When you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

Yes you can change the email that you use for your iTunes account, but what I was saying is that you cannot change it to the me address that you use with your mobile me account. It isn't absolutely necessary that you use the same account for all Apple services, it may well help a little in remembering your login details, however unless you migrate your MobileMe account to an iCloud account and use it for your iCloud services you will not be able to use your me address.

Long story, but I have 2 iTunes accounts, one of which I no longer use. The email system for my primary account is going away, and I need to associate this primary account with a different active email address. I'd like to associate it to my other accounts email address. Is there a way I can either close or disable this second unused iTunes account, and move the email address associated with it to my primary account? Any other suggestions on how to fix this problem (other than open a 3rd email account someplace)?

I accually called them and was on the phone for like two hours trying to fix it. Do you have an apple id? if so you can use that to buy a free song and then synce the phone and then after that try to buy something and your apple id name should come up. I was using my aol email address and then for some reason it stoped working and I couldnt bye anything. I did that and now I can buy stuff again..hope this helps

You are going to need to change the email address you use with your old ID. Once you have got access to your old account you will then log into both accounts at the same time on your Mac and transfer your data to a single account. We can do this later, but need you to get access to your old account first.

BEfore you try to Restore it, try a simple Reset.
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears (ignore the Slide to Power Off option that shows up first).
