I guess you're correct. I haven't visited that page and gone through the various menus in almost a year. You might post your problem to the feedback forum http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=1076 and see what comes back. It might be that if you delete your Apple ID, that would screw up all the databases containing it, especially WRT any of your posts.

To remove it from your account, tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account - that should give you a payments link on your account's page from where you can change remove/change your payment details.

Contact App Store support. There's a link on the right hand side of the App Store Window. They're the only ones who can sort out account issues.

Delete exchange account profile

I just left a job for which I installed an Exchange email profile on my iPhone 5. I already turned off all the email, contacts, calendars and reminders under General settings, but I am having trouble deleting the account completely. There is no 'delete account' button at the bottom like there is for my gmail account. Instead it says the settings are installed by a profile. There is not option to delete the profile name it mentions. Anyone know how to delete an Exchange profile?

Deleted OS Profile Notifies Apple ID Account That Mac is iMessage Client

A friend created an account on my mac and logged in with his apple ID. A few days later we deleted the account/profile on my Mac as it was only setup temporarily. He since has received a notification that my Mac was added to his iMessage. We're confused, as we had deleted the Mac account.
What should we do to clean this up?

Software from the Mac App Store is encoded with your Apple ID. The Mavericks installer is 5.29 GB. It should be the same for anyone who is installing Mavericks for the first time.
You should be able to copy the installer from one Mac to any other Mac that you own and use it to install Mavericks.

I am running 4 ipod classica through one computer and one itunes account/profile. The ipods belong to me, husband and 2 kids. How can the kids now get their own accounts but keep the stuff I have already downloaded for them? They have their own laptops

You and your husband can share a store account and still have seperate iCloud accounts for your contacts, bookmarks and stuff like that. Click here for instructions to make an apple account without entering a credit card. Make sure you use a different email address for each apple account.
Set up your iPhone/iPad whatever using the new account for iCloud. Then go into settings/store and sign in with your purchasing account, you may need to sign out of the other account. To the best of my knowledge, your household is allowed to share purchased legally, someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Once you each have your own devices set to your own accounts you can set them to backup to that account and it will keep all your contacts seperate.

I know there are plenty of threads on AD integration & Run As accounts\Profiles, but none quite answering my scenario...so here goes.

Questionable, I did select the Default MP, otherwise the unsealed error occured when creating the Auto Agent Assign rule

NO, otherwise alerts appear in regards to abc.com discovery rules breaking. Looks like for additional domains this rule should not be touched.
RESULT: All servers in def.com
populated MS_PrimarySG_xxx
group as expected
Note: Domain Controllers should not be included in the Auto Assign rules supposedly (makes sense) so I altered the query to ensure they didn't populate in the
MS_PrimarySG_xxx group:
(&(sAMAccountType=805306369)(objectCategory=computer)(objectClass=computer)(operatingSystem=*Server*)) (!(primaryGroupID=516))
(!(primaryGroupID=516)) equates to exclude DCs.

Root account .profile file Info required

(Very New to UNIX - Solaris 10)
Where to admins usually put the root account .profile file ?
I have created other users, and they go into the export/home/user file system and then I rename the local.profile to .profile
The HOME for the root user is /
What I don�t understand is where to put it and will it be automatically picked upon login for root.
Should I create a export/home/root folder , if so will the .profile be picked up here?
Any suggestions?

You would put it under /. When you login as root, it will look for it in the home directory. For security purposes, you shouldn't enable direct root login except from the console.

Alert summary MP run as account profile in multiple domains

Hi,
I have a general question about run as account profiles and targeting of objects. We have an Alert Summary MP account that uses the scom action account. The target is all objects. the Runas account used is a domain
account in domain XYZ. When targeting all objects, it tries to run on domain ABC and caused an alert.
How can I specifically configure the profile to use account XYZ\accountname for objects in XYZ domain and then ABC\accountname in the ABC account.

1) Create Group XYZ contains all objects in domain XYZ
2) Create Group ABC contains all objects in domain ABC
3) Create two runas account, ones in domain XYZ(XYZSCOMActioAccount) and the others in domain ABC(ABCSCOMActioAccount)
4) In the account profiles, add two runas as account, ones with account XYZSCOMActioAccount and target group XYZ and the others with account ABCSCOMActioAccount and target group ABC

Pushing oim account profile changes into AD!

I have Sun Directory as a trusted source and then when user make changes in account profile ex:firstname,email .. etc those changes are pushed into Sun directory but I want them to be also pushed into AD. I have no idea on how to this.

Hi,
I believe you have deployed AD connector into your system if not then deploy AD connector in your oim system.
Now just go to AD User provisioning for and you will see few task with name starting with Change. These task should be added into a lookup called Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS.If you want to put more trigger then you can those trigger in your provisioning process.

Customizing OIM Account Profile Screen

I would like to add additional fields in the Account Profile screen for end-users to view.
I've looked in the FormMetaData.xml file and found that there isn't a section for this screen although there is one for modifying the account profile. However, this will not customize the fields that are displayed for the user.
How can I make this customization so that additional fields are viewable?

You need to define the additional attribute in the beginning of the FormMetaData.xml file under <FormManagementMetaData>
for e.g;
<Attribute name="USR_UDF_WORK_PHONE" label="Work Phone" displayComponentType="TextField" dataLength="15" map="USR_UDF_WORK_PHONE"/>
and refer this attribute where you want to use it. In you case, if you want to get this value in the Account Profile you can add it under the <ProfileModificationUserForm> tag as
<AttributeReference editable="true" optional="true">USR_UDF_WORK_PHONE</AttributeReference>

OIM Account Profile Page Modification for UDF field

Hello - I have two custom fields (USR_UDF) added to the OIM User profile page. The fields are available during the user create as well as when the end user try to modify his account. The problem is when a user click on My Account --> Account Profile the fields are not shown. When he click Modify Account Profile button on the Account Profile page the fields are shown, can you please tell me what section of the FormMetaData.xml needs to be updated.
Just to let you know I have added those fields to the following sections of the file.

You need to updated xlwebAmin_en_us properties as well....
Let us take example you have created an UDF for Mobile
Find below steps to show those fields:
1. under User Self Registration and User Profile Modification section
<Attribute name="USR_UDF_Mobile" label="global.udf.label.Mobile" displayComponentType="TextField" dataLength="80" map="USR_UDF_Mobile"/>
2. Under Definition of the form that will be displayed to the user for self registration
<AttributeReference>USR_UDF_Mobile</AttributeReference>
3. xlwebAdmin_en_us property file you need define entry like:
global.udf.label.Mobile = Mobile Phone
Try these steps and let me know the result....

The list of UK counties on the Account Profile Form has no suitable entry for addresses in Central London.

Maybe you can modify the tile that gets rendered when you enter that option in the menu. You can have a look to the documentation (Oracle Identity Manager Administrative and User Console Customization Guide) to see hoy to modify these files.
The JSP you'll need to modify is server\default\deploy\XellerateFull.ear\xlWebApp.war\tiles\tjspViewProfileTiles.jsp (the URL is for Jboss Application Server).
It seems to be easy to remove fields from this jsp, but never tried this before.
