  • Automatic account postings (for Intercompany Purchase order and Sales order

    Hi all,
I need some help related to the automatic account postings (for Intercompany Purchase order and Sales order)which i can set for the follwoing scenarios. I have looked on the forms and searched alot but not able to a single solution to solve both the pupose. if one scenario works the other doesnt. Please advise.
I have created the master data
    Customer receiving--G001
    Sales Org.--GXIN
    Distr. Channel- 01
    Division - 00
    Company code receiving - G1
    customer supplying- V001
    company code for supplying- V1
    2 different scenarios
1- Intercompany Purchase order in which a Customer receiving- G001, gets stock replenishment NB purchase order from supplying company V1- GI  and GR of stock is done. Biling document for customer receiving G001 is created. But now I need a way to do the opposite side posting at the supplying customer -V001-- this I do using an Idoc which creates a Invoice receipt for creditor(supplying customer) V001.
    2. Sales order-- A customer X001 of company code G1 buys stock from the company code V1. the customer G001 of company code G1 bills the customer X001, but the intercompany billing doc/ invoice is created for the customer G001 by company code V1.  then now i want an automatic account posting to be created at the supplying customer V001 via idoc.
Can this be achivable via Idoc with automatic account postings.
Please let me know if it doesnt make sense. thanks to all in advance
    cheers
    Jasmeet

    Hi all,
For the Sales order and automatic posting we have created an output type ZR4N- this is creating a batch input session which can be triggered to be processed autmatically.
For the intercompany Purchase order -from Invoice we are creating a different output RD04 (sap standard) which creates invoice receipt at the vendor side.
Rest of the settings are defined using SAP standard functionality within transaction OBCA, OBCB, OBCC, OBCD,OBCE
    thanks for viwing the post
    Cheers

  • Account postings for consignment

    Dear experts,
Please explain me the account postings for consignment.
    thanks in advance,

    Hi,
    Consignment
You manage material A from your vendor as consignment stock at a consignment price of $10/piece.
    Goods Withdrawal
When you withdraw 100 pieces for consumption, the system makes a posting to the consumption account based on the consignment price. The offsetting entry is made to the account Liabilities from consignment stock.
    Consignment and Pipeline Settlement
When the consignment withdrawals are settled, the liability created at the time of the withdrawal is cleared. The offsetting entry is posted to the vendor account.
The system determines which taxes are to be posted for each item from the consignment info record or pipeline info record.
When the system makes postings to the liabilities account, be they for withdrawals or for settlements, it creates the allocation number automatically from the material document number, so that the open items in Financial Accounting can be cleared.

  • Accounting postings for subcontract PO goods receipt

    Hi,
Can someone please explain the accounting postings that occur when a subcontract PO is received?  I understand the usual inventory and GR/IR account entries.  But there are 2 additional account entries for transaction keys FRL and BSV.  These appear to be posted for the material being received, not the one being supplied to vendor (this one is $0 in our system).
    Thanks in advance,
    -Den

When you post a GR for the ordered material (the end product), the system determines the components and creates a goods issue item for each component. The GR document consists of the following items:
1.Goods receipt items for the materials supplied by the vendor
    2. Goods issue items for the components
Here is a link that explains the postings

  • GL Account Postings for Goods movement

    Hi,
I have a requirement to setup a account determination for goods movement for charity.
What happens is that at times goods are given out directly for charitable purposes.
This is done using a direct goods movement using 562. I need to know what kind of accounts should be debited or credited?
    kindly advice.
    thanks.

    Hi,
Generally it should be Goods Issue against Cost Center through Movement Type "201" (Here create "Admin" Cost Center and in Text line mention the purpose as Issue to Charity)
Else create Charitable trust as a vendor and use option Goods Issue --> Others (Mvmt. Type 502) and issue the materials.
    Accounting Entry should be;
    Stock Account - Cr
    Consumption Account - Dr
Also discuss once with your client.

  • Account Postings for Goods receipt

    Hello
When i am doing GR for a material ( moving avg price) with reference to P.O with 101 mvt type  it is posting to 4 G/L accounts.
    1.Stock account
    2.GR/IR account
    3.Scrap account
    4.Scrap account
Why it is behaving like this.

    Hi,
During Goods receipt system identifies two Account one is Debit entry and another is Credit entry if your material is set price control S then if any difference in materrial price and PO price there will be PRD account. How system idetifies these accounts are through OBYC You can check these below Transcation /Event key In OBYC.
    1.Stock account ( BSX)
    2.GR/IR account (WRX)
Just doubble click the key then check valuation calss and GL assigned.and also checkk the Transcation event key for scrap posting in Accounting documents by changing layout if it standard or any Z key for same in OBYC you check GL assignment.

  • Accounting entries after PGI for STO Within same Plant

    Dear Members,
We have activated STO within same plant in OLME->PO->Setup STO -> Set up stock transfers between Storage locations
    Cycle is PO ->VL10B->VL02N ->PGI ->GR
We are using newly created delivery type ZNL ( copying NL ,Using 641 )
    Which is working fine
Now the thing I am observing here is this
a > When we have not assigned any pricing procedure  in  Determine Schema for Stock Transport Orders
after PGI no accounting document was generated
But our requirement is to add freight cost that is why we added a pricing procedure ZRM200 (copying RM2000)
Here we are observing after PGI accounting document is generated
    Postings are ( Material cost 500 Eur i.e 100 Kg @ 5.00 Eur in PGI )
    RM stock a/c       500 Cr.
    RM stock a/c       800 Dr.
    Freight clearing   300 Cr
And it does not matter whether P101 is in ZRM200 or not (Same posting with or without P101)
Now my question is it correct system behavior ?
And requirement is postings should only be like this ( i.e without including transfer posting price)
    RM stock a/c       300 Dr
    Freight clearing   300 Cr
Can it be possible to achieve ?
    Many thanks in advance
Edited by: redriver on Dec 29, 2011 2:35 PM

Not necessary to activate Purchase account
Even for STO we use FRE. It is only a name and called as Purchasing freight account
So check the pricing procedure at M/08 for freight condition and account key. I think it is FRE
Check which GL account assigned at OBYC/Purchasing freight account(FRE).
if the GL is same as your RM and if your need mainatain separate GL enter that GL here.

  • Account postings in GR & IR for Subcontracting

    Hi Experts,
I need to know the account postings for both GR & IR during Sub contracting.
Let us take the scenario . .
    PO price - 1000(Gross) +  200(Tax) = 1200 (Net) for 1 Qty
GR - PO Net Price due to Moving Average price.
    IR - 1200(Gross) + 240 (Tax) = 1440
Please explain the accounting entries during Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt.
    By
    Prabhu

If Material has Price Control as "V" (MAP)
(BSX) Stock A/c of Assembly - Dr
(BSV) Change in Subcon Stock - Cr
    (FRL) Subcontracting Charges - Dr
    (WRX) GR/IR Clearing A/c - Cr
(BSX) Stock A/c of Components - Cr
    (GBB-VBO) Consumption A/c of Components - Dr
If Material has Price Control as "S" (Std. Price)
If Material is having Price Control as "S" then Price Difference A/c will also in picture.
This depends on configuration; SPRO > MM > Inventory Management and Physical Inventory > Goods Receipt > Price Differences for Subcontract Orders at Goods Receipt
Price Differences for Subcontract Orders at Goods Receipt
In this step, you configure for each valuation area whether price differences are generated for a Subcontract order at the time of a goods receipt if the manufactured material is managed at standard price and the standard price varies from the receipt value (externally performed service + value of components + delivery costs).
    Example
Finished product: $400 (value at standard price)
    Subcontract order:
    o Ext. service : $250
    o Components : $100
    Posting schema without price differences:
    Stock account FERT : 400 +
    Stock change : 400 -
    GR/IR clearing acct : 250 -
    External service acct : 250 +
    Compon. stock account : 100 -
    Consumption account : 100 +
    Posting schema with price differences:
    Stock account FERT : 400 +
    Stock change : 350 -
    Price difference : 50 -
    GR/IR clearing acct : 250 -
    External service acct : 250 +
    Compon. stock account : 100 -
    Consumption account : 100 +
    hope it help

    Hi.
The system logic is the following:
In the master record of your one-time account, there is a field called
'Reference account group'. The field status settings of the account
group entered here are relevant for the one time vendor screen.
Please note that even if the fields are changed from mandatory to
optional if the NAME and CITY of the One Time Vendor is not filled, the
system will still prompt the Error Message F5266.
If you do not enter the name and city you will receive error F5266.
The system logic here is to make sure that the name and the city being
keyed-in properly for the Executive Information System reportings.
Please note that it is hard-coded in the system.
    Check the following notes
    604312
    587806
    548834
    513748
    512360
Also if you are using any bapi to post the document, you can  resolve the issue pass-in 'Name', City and Region field values in BAPI while creating the billing document.
I hope I could be of assistance.

  • Accounting entry view needs to be restrcited for STO transactions

    Hi
There is Stock Transfer scenario at my place. Stock transfer (from one plant to another) is done after adding some profit margin to the cost of material. Note: My different plant represents different profit centers
Ex: STO is done from plant 1000 to plant 2000. Cost of material is Rs.100 and profit is Rs.20. Hence STO is done at Rs. 120
    Entry posted:
    Stock Plant 2000 (Profit center 2000) - Rs. 120
To Stock Plant 1000 (Profit center 1000) - Rs 100
To Profit Margin (Profit center 1000) - Rs. 20
Now i want that this account entry should not be view by plant 2000 (whose profit center is 2000). Reason is that the management don't want that receiving plant should know about the profit.
So let me know if i can block the view of accounting entry for plant 2000 for STO transaction only. Plant 2000 should be able view rest all accounting transactions like Purchase from third party, sales, etc.
Note: For STO transactions, we have created separate PO (Document type) as ZSTO.
    Please help

    Hi,
You can simply take authorization of GL involving in plant desired. Please ask your BAsis guy to revoke activity 03 against object F_BKPF_BES for authr group of GLs from desired users. It will meet your requirment.

  • Postings for account type M ( posting key 99 ) are not defined

    Hi,
I am trying to post vendor credit memo KG through FB01 using posting key 21 - Debit Vendor and posting key 99 - Credit Material.
I am getting the error "Postings for account type M ( posting key 99 ) are not defined Message F5204".
The posting key 99 is set for account type material. Is there anything else that need to be configured?
Is there any other way that i can debit a vendor and credit material through FI postings (without purchase order)
    Thanks
    Sukumar

    Hi Ravi,
I am also having the same issue.
I want to load some costs to materials thorugh Finance module.  In that case i am trying to post the values through F-43 document.
In posting key 89, but system not accepted.  As per your suggestion i am trying to take 81 posting key.  Then system is asking the GL, there is i select the Stock GL, system won't allow to post the values to the stock account.
So what will be the solution to add or to deduct any other charges to the material cost through finance module.
