Account re-activated but still not able to use

My account got de-activated a couple of days ago. I've re-activated it on the same day. Was told after re-activation that Skype would send me an email to confirm re-activation. I have not received the email, and still cannot use account, although money back in the account.

    SHTML files are regular HTML files that make use of Server-Side Includes. In some server configurations, the special file extension is required to instruct the server to parse the file for SSI code.
    If Firefox doesn't recognize the file type, it is likely the MIME type is incorrect.

    Try completely removing and reinstalling iTunes and all related components; you may need to do this multiple times. It won't normally affect the iTunes library, but that should be backed up anyway.

    Flip4Mac plays Windows Media content, not AVI content. The codec needed to play those specific AVI files is most likely part of Perian or VLC but may not exist for Mac OS X.

  • Services are running in Server 2008. But still not able to telnet on localhost

    Desired services are running on server but still telnet on localhost not happening.
    From remote server I am able to telnet on same services.
    I am facing issue while doing telnet to remote server alos.
    Is there anything which could stopping telnet operation.
    From same server I am not able to telnet to other server for SQL services, whereas both servers in same LAN with adjacent IP address.

    I have checked same. Services are listening on desired port.
    From events log we observed that server moving out of domain controller which root cause not identified yet.
    Will it be possible if sever moving out of domain and getting NETLOGON issue. Which could block communication to other server or localhost telnet.

  • I have installed itunes but get massage coming up saying cannot be used because required software is not installed, run itunes installer to remove itunes, then install itunes again. I have done this but still not able to connect my iphone, ipad or ipod.

    Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
    Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

    Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
    http://www.rarlab.com/
    Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
    Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
    (If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
    Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
    If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

  • Still not able to use HP Laserjet 5P7

    I finally abandoned my old HP PC and followed my brother advice.  We have argued the virtues of PC v MAC for over 15 years and yes I finally decided to make the switch.  I purchased y iMAC 27 inch last week and sadly had to visit Apple store for a problem with wireless mouse.  They exchanged but in moving the MAC from my home and to the interior of the mall to find the Apple store I chipped the right edge of screen.  So much for easy transitions.  My Canon all ion one ink jet printer that is always thirsty for inks works fine.  My workhorse HP Laserjet 5P which I have had for over 10 years is causing problems.  I have spent hours on line both at Apple support sites and then HP sites and although there are plenty of advice and questions, none seem to help me.  I called for the first time Apple suppoirt and received an incident numbert but no solution.  I was told to go to HP.  This confused me since I have read plenty of suggestions and information stating that Apple had the drivers.  They must be hidden because I cannot find them.  I even downloaded a non-Apple "fix" called the Gutenberg, but it also did not work for me.  I erased it and now have two download icons on my desktop labeled Hewlett Packard Printer Drivers which are leftover reminders of my helpless position.  I finally decided to pay for the right advice except HP wanted $100 for a one time assistant.  I reconsidered and am trying for a support community solution.  Actually I posted a request for an Apple support answer but never received a response and cannot remember what site i left it on.  So, can someone help or do I keep my PC and HP printer for the letters and use the MAC for photos abnd music?  This is the crux of my brothers and my many conversations.  I always said PC was for real work for word processing and spreadsheets and the like and leave the Apple for educators, artists, photographers and music lovers.  I read several places that said the updated drivers were supposed to be included in recent Apple Update, which I have but it is not there.  Here's hoping my dilemna will be resolved here so I can once again feel my brothger is still right and I was wrong.  This printer problem is really what is keeping me from disconnecting my PC, other than finding a way to use the leased PC software I have used for 20+ years for my business.  First the printer and then the PC software.  Thanks for all who might really have a solution.  I am not asking for guesses which will waste my time as well as the 50 sheets of blank paper that accompanies the first page of garbled text every time I try to print after finding what I thought was a solutiion. So, will I find help or start shopping for another laser printer?  PS.  I chose iMac Intel but am not sure it is correct.  I just know I purchased an iMAC with the latest operating system of OS x 10.??

    Thank you so much for your help in solving my HP 5P printer driver problem, even if the printer is 20 years old.  I find it hard to believe that this printer has not only lasted but done a great job for me and my insurance adjusting business. Your comments and directions were clear, concise and CORRECT. 
    I certainly got my money's worth from HP.  I will probably replace it one of these days, but it was just that it still works fine and toner is reasonable. I hate to discard or throw anything away that still works and has value not to mention trying to do my part for the environment.  A throw back to my youth in the '60's when I arguerd with the manager of the new Burger King in my neighborhood that I did not want a bag that was going to go in the trash can before I even left the store.
    Anyway, I would like to thank you again and wish I could recommend you to anyone in my position; that is older, new to Macs, and not a copmputer creator, but rather a computer user, which is why they are made in the firest place.  I know I will have other Mac challenges in my transition from my old HP Pavilion PC and hope that I can find you and you are able to help again.
    For anyone else that sees this post and feels the urge to suggest replacing older equipment based on the age even while it still works, I did decide to replace my working and old virus surviving bullet riddled 10 year old HP PC.   Age is one factor in evaluating tools of life, but performance, quality and costs also drive my decisions.

    Did you try recovery mode? If you try this, temporarily disable your firewall and antivirus software as well when you do go through the process.
    Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
    Turn off iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for iPad to turn off.
    If you cannot turn off iPad using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the iPad turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
    While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPad. When you reconnect the USB cable, iPad should power on.
    Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
    If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the recovery mode alert that iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode.
    Use iTunes to restore iPad.

  • Still not able to use fire fox, Fire fox works in safe mode but then it will freeze up and run slow when i try to use a link. All my drivers ect are up to date.

    My Fire Fox will only open in xp sp1 but then it will run slow and freeze up when i try to view a link, i have just about given up with this problem as i have tried every thing that might fix this problem.

    Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
    You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
    Then perform these steps:
    *Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
    *In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
    *In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
    *Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
    If this doesnt work, may you please reply and respond with a list of things you have tried.

    My wife’s iPad was not downloading Yahoo mail, although her iPhone was. Both used IOS 8.2. We tried deleting the account several times and troubleshooting all of the other settings. The problem appears to have been that allowing the IOS to automatically create the account on the iPad resulted in the wrong settings for the incoming server. The following procedure, pieced together from two websites, fixed the problem for us. So far, so good.

    I wonder if the problem of not beig alble to use itunes match between my ipad and my Macbook air is because i have the two set up on different email addresses so that I can use facetime between the two devices,if so how do I remedy that? I also have two seperate Apple itunes accounts for the two,would they both have to be on the same account?

    Yes,  I am connected to the internet.  I am getting my mobile me account email but nothing from my exchange server account, however when I try to reply to a message it gets stuck in my outbox.   When I click on Get Mail and send nothing happens.  Usually I see the spinning wheel  but nothing now.   There are several messages in my out box from both the exchange and mobile me accounts.  Thanks
