Account Recovery not completing

I am unable to complete my Skype account recovery.  Having followed all the links and changed my password, my profile comes up, I enter my new password and then Account Recovery starts and stops at 50%.  How do I get it to completely recover my profile?

Can we rule out there are no script errors appearing within your web browser, for example at the top or bottom of the website page?  I recommend trying again, using a different web browser than you typically use.

    I messed up all partitions on my hp dv6!! I don't know what to do..I wanted a dual boot win 7 and ubuntu but I made a mistake by making c as swap!! And then after restarting I couldn't find the windows and I deleted all partitions by gparted and made just 1 primary ntfs!! And then I restarted with the cd recovery system!! After it finish and remove the cd to restart..it takes me to a page that says recovery not completed and gives me 3 options save log , details, retry!! And after pressing retry it says put cd 1 !! And then it doesn't load and eject the cd automatically and says again insert cd 1!!!
    Please any help would be appreciated
    I passed two days trying!! Reading all your suggestions I even recognized that the wi fi was off..but I tried more than 3 times with the wi fi on and it takes me to the same page!!

    Create a invoice
    When I look in document flow and I have done all of the above I see accounting document-not cleared can you confirm that this does not show as complete until a cash posting occurs from the customer?  I am uncertain.

    You are right. The status will show as "cleared" once the payment is received from customer and cleared against the invoice document.

  • HD Recovery not completing

    Hello everyone:  Had to replace the HD on Envy 14 notebook.  Recovery went well until after all 7 disks had been fed and used. However the 2nd part of the recovery (install) stalled on the HP splash window with the Press Esc to go to Start menu message.  I let it sit for over 2 hours and then tried pressing the Esc key.  Nothing at all happened.
    On restart, it once again gave message that no boot disk found.  I put in recovery disk 1, and ...  well, long a short is that it's not completing the installation.  I've done the startup checks and no problems found with memory or (new) HD.

    That is odd. Just to try and isolate whether this is hardware or software, do you have another machine to try this with. Just boot from the media on another machine. It will prompt or stop with an error before performing any actions, assuming it boots. If you get the same result on another machine, I'd have to say it's a corrupt disk and you'll have to obtain another set. If it only occurs on the target machine, I have to guess you have a hardware issue.

  • Two Palm PDAs and iSync on one account - Synchronization not complete

    I have set up two Palm devices with iSync on one account on my computer. It was my understanding that if I do a HotSync on each device with the Mac, all three devices should have the same information. I am finding that this is partially true. If I add information to a card in my contacts database on any device, that flows through. However, if I remove a card from the computer or either device, it does not flow through to the other devices or computer after I do a HotSync on each device.
    What can be done to keep all devices fully synchronized?

    Changes are pulled from and pushed to various devices in your pool according to a 'plan' maintained by the truth database, and not all changes are necessarily passed around completely in a single session.
    You can read this document to get an idea of how the Sync Services framework operates:

    If a second and subsequent synchronization does not transfer the record modifications or deletions, you can reset the truth database by launching iSync, opening the Preferences… dialog, and pressing the Reset Sync History button, then following the instructions which appear and synchronizing once again.

  • Recovery Not Completely Deleting All Files

    I wanted to have a clean start but after two recovery tries I am unsuccessful.  The first time I tried to use the recovery from my hard drive but programs I had installed are still showing up and even files such as pictures and music are still there.  I decided to try the recovery from the DVDs I created but came out with the same result.
    How can I do a complete wipe and have a clean start?

    I followed the process exactly as specified in the user manual (only very slight variances between exactly what it said & what was on the screen).
    The first time from the internal drive:
    - Press and hold the 0 (zero) key on your keyboard while powering on the computer.
    - A warning screen appears, stating that when the recovery is executed all data will be deleted and rewritten. Click Yes to continue.
    - When the Toshiba Recovery Wizard opens and the Selecting a process screen displays, select Recovery of Factory Default Software and then click Next.
    - The Recovery of Factory Default Software screen appears. Select Recover to out-of-box state.
    - Click Next. A confirmation message displays reminding you that all data will be lost during the recovery process. Be sure to save your work to external media before proceeding.
    - Click Next to begin the recovery. When the process is complete, a message displays indicating that the internal storage drive has been recovered.
    The second time from the recovery DVDs:
    - Insert the first recovery DVD into your optical drive and power on the computer.
    - When the initial screen displays, press F12. The boot menu appears.
    - Using the arrow keys, select the DVD option and press Enter.
    - The Selecting a Process screen appears. Select Toshiba Recovery Wizard and then click Next.
    - A warning screen appears, stating that when the recovery is executed all data will be deleted and rewritten. Click Yes to continue.
    - When the Toshiba Recovery Wizard opens and the Selecting a Process screen displays, select Recovery of Factory Default Software and then click Next.
    - Selected "Recover to out-of-box state—If you want to recover the original factory image (returning the computer to its out-of-box state)."
    - Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the recovery process.
    - When the process is complete, a message displays, indicating that the drive has been recovered.
    Apparently Toshiba can't figure it out either... Been waiting since this morning for a senior technician to call me back as their first line of "tech support" is completely useless...  Very disappointed with the customer support- or lack there of- I've received so far!

     I have a A105-2091 that I am trying to restore. The recovery disk loads the RAMDRIVE, pauses and says "PLEASE WAIT", the cursor appears for a few seconds and the machine reboots, starting the process over, and over, and over....
    BIOS is at 2.30
    I have tried from within windows, and from cold iron, and get the same results. I never get any error msgs.
    Any suggestions?

  • Deleting mail account does not completely remove all of its data from iPhone

    I'm using iPhone 5S, iOS 8.1.3. I used a number of email accounts on the built-in Mail app and recently deleted one Gmail account. I thought that all its data will be removed from the iPhone, however, when I used the Spotlight Search, I found that the iPhone still retains some of the account's draft email. So I tried to add back the account to the Mail then delete it once again, but the draft email is still there, although these draft emails no longer exist in the actual Gmail account. I tried resending them but only ended up with sent mail that also refuses to get deleted (still found them on Spotlight) after deleting the Gmail account. Is there any way to remove these useless mail to free up space?

    This indicates corrupt files.
    A restore should resolve.

    Hi there I have been trying to help a friend work out why she hasn't been able to access itunes on her home computer for 3 months as it comes up with the following error "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later"

    Same problem. I can see the itunes store so not a problem with windows firewall. The account is active on my iphone so i know i am not locked out. I can connect the PC to my iphone so i know itunes is working ok. It is just logging into itunes on this pc which doesn't work. Only thing I can think of is that the email address I use for my apple id has been offline for a while and is working again now, I'm wondering whether this has been the case for others who are having this issue?

  • Manage Account does not appear in the options sync tab. How do I manage my account to get the recovery key?

    I cannot sync my Firefox 18 desktop with iPad or iPhone browsers. I have tried everything suggested on the Web and have tried safe mode as well. When I enter the three-line synch code, I get a sync failure. I have deleted my account and then set up a new account without success. Manage Account does not appear in the options sync tab. How do I manage my account to get the recovery key?
    I’ve spent hours on this and am considering using Chrome as my regular browser since I have no trouble syncing Chrome with apps. Help appreciated.

    You can only inspect the sync key via manage account if this device is has been setup and is connected to the sync server.
    You can find the sync account password and the sync (recovery) key in the password manager on computers where a sync account with a specific e-mail address has been set up.
    Look for:
    * chrome://weave (Mozilla Services Password)
    * chrome://weave (Mozilla Services Encryption Passphrase)
    You can look at this version of the about:synckey extension that I have modified to show the sync key in current Firefox versions (desktop and mobile).

  • Lion 10.7.5 Recovery install loops and will not complete install.

    Hi on my Mid 2009 Macbook Pro with 8GB Ram it seems that a virus got into the system and was causing Safari to crash then affected iTunes, MS Word 2008, and others to malfunction.
    Steps taken:
    1.  Started in recovery mode on Recovery Partiion selected and recovered from TimeMachine backup
    2. On start up checked Software update and said All Up to Date.
    3. Safari still quiting unexpectedly.
    4. Started in recovery mode on Recovery Partiion selected and Installed new OS X Lion from recovery. This would not complete after 2 attempts was starting to loop. It will show the blue bar that it has 2 hrs 22 min, 1 hr 11 min, 34 min 32 ...etc then after 2 min it will then say -1,384,587,231 hours to complete, then go back to about 34 min. the blue bar is filled 100% at this point.  Then it will do it all over and over again.
    I restarted and things appeared to be working okay.  I left the computer on with one web page and a Word file open while I did work on another computer.  It started a new Time Machine backup and seemed to be doing fine.  Then I heard it restart itself!  I checked to see what would happen.  It showed the grey progress bar below the apple logo like it is starting in Safe Mode, then the progress bar disappeared before completing and it just shows the spining icon for over an hour?  It appeared to be screwed.  I shut the computer off and same result to restart.
    5. Started in recovery mode on Recovery Disk usb drive selected and erased Hard Drive to Mac OS (Extened Journaled).
         Tested OK after erase.
    6. Ran Recover Lion again, and again and again same result. 
    7. Left running overnight, and still running the loop and not completing.
    8. Reset SMC
    9. Reset PRAM
    10. Erased hard drive again formated Mac OS (Extened Journaled)
    11. Started in recovery mode on Recovery Disk usb drive Installed new OS X Lion from recovery - Same result loops and Never completes
    12. downloaded RecoveryDiskAssistant.dmg and created a new Lion Recovery usb
    13. Erased hard drive again formated Mac OS (Extened Journaled)
    14. Started in recovery mode on Recovery Disk new usb drive Installed new OS X Lion from recovery - Same result loops and Never completes
    That is where I am at at this point. The drive is new (within 2 months or so since installed) and it reformats okay and seems to test okay in Disk Utiliy
    I had also used the Terminal to run diskutil eraseDisk HFS+ MacHD "/Volumes/disk0"
    This did erase the disk and had tried Lion recovery install again and still fails.  I would even try Mountain Lion, but have not upgraded to it yet. I think I need the computer working to purchase and install it.
    I checked the TimeMachine back up disk on my iMac and disk utility says it needs repairs, when repairing it just goes and goes with no result and does not seem to be able to repair.
    So at this point I would like to just get the laptop to install an operating system and work.  Then I will see if there is a way to recover files on the time machine back up disk. 
    Any help would be very much appreciated.

    I have even reinstalled Safari to no avail.
    The only way to reinstall Safari on a Mac running Lion or Mountain Lion is to reinstall OS X using OS X Lion: About Lion Recovery
    You mentioned that you have v10.7.5 installed but I see v10.8.1 in your profile ??
    Exactly which OS X is installed ???
    Troubleshooting suggestions may be based on that information.

    Now when trying to post GRN / AP Invoice / Delivery / AR invoice and an error is coming as Linking primary Purchase in GRN / AP Invoice time and Linking primary Sales Account has not been completed in Delivery / AR invoice.
    Please tell me what is gone wrong

    Thanks fr a quick response. Infact I have given accounts in GL determination but I am not able to understand which account is missing. Can you please help me in this GL determination by letting  me know such errors come when if the field or gl account is not defined.

    It is right that there are missing G/L accounts in the g/l account determination.  From SAP Note Number: 871509, what happened to our system was some g/l accounts were removed when we created a new posting period. 
    Domestic Accounts Receivable
    Foreign Accounts Receivable
    Revenue Account
    Sales Credit Account
    We tried entering the g/l accounts used in the previous calendar year but the system will not update.  So we created new g/l accounts under sales and accounts receivable.  The system updated when we added the new sales g/l account.  however, the new a/r account is not included in the list when we press the tab button. 
    What could be the reason why we cannot select the g/l accounts previously used in our old posting periods?
