Account Sign-In Issue

Hello,
I have a problem which I believe has troubled some other users.  I signed up for Skype a very long time ago with the account or Skype Name "y[Removed for privacy]e".  After updating to iOS 8 for iphone I was signed out of Skype and I realized I have no idea what my password is.  I tried signing in many times, but I eventually gave up and have tried to retrieve my account with my 'registered email'.  Unfortunately, I'm concerned that my account never actually had a registered email.  I signed up so long ago, I think just Skype Name and password were there only required elements at that time.  
I've tried sending password reset emails to the account I thought was my 'registered account', however once I recieve the email and try to reset my password, I get an error message saying, 'no skype account is associated with this email address.'  If this is truly the case,  why was I able to recieve an email about password resetting in the first place?  I tried using my only other email account that I have, and when I tried to send a password reset email to that email address, it won't even let me send an email in the first place, telling me no skype account is attached to this email address.  
I'm still signed in on my computer to this account, but if I sign out (since I don't know my password) I will be completely without access to it.  I can't retreive my account via email.  I can't change my password with without signing in again (with the password I dont know).  
I can't even post on the forums for help on that account without entering my password.  As far as I know, there are no security questions available to be answered.  
I really want back access to this account on my phone and to not have to fear once my computer automatically signs me out at some point, that I won't be able to log in ever again.  This account means a lot to me, as I have countless conversations saved with loved ones from over 5 or 6 years ago until now.  
The reason I beleive the account "y[Removed for privacy]e" does not have a registered email is this - through the skype program on my desktop, I can click a button that takes me to my account information page in my browser.  On the page I can see my personal information.  In the registered email section of the page, the box is completely blank.  I've tried adding a registered email this way, but it asked me to enter my password again 'just to be safe'.  
If anyone can please point me in the right direction I would be extremely grateful.  This account really means a lot to me.  I don't believe I should have to lose this account forever, just because I forgot my password.

Simple: Sign in to the App Store with the account you used to either set up the machine or purchase the app.
If you did neither of these then contact the person who did.

    I changed my apple id email address  last week, not a problem I just entered the correct info on my 6 apple devices for FaceTime, AppStore and iTunes.
    The issue now, is that I have changed my appleid password so that the kids couldn't install any apps and charge my credit card.
    Now I am getting an icloud authorisation error, it is telling me that the account (old apple id) or password are incorrect.
    What have I done and how can I fix it?

    I FOUND THE SOLUTION!
    I had the same exact problem. I had my old apple ID connected to a school email which did not exist anymore. My ipad was prompting me to put the password in for that ID and I could not delete it from my ipad because the "Find My Ipad" was turned on, once again prompting for password. I called apple and they said this Apple no longer exists and is not in there system, which I knew already. After hours on the phone nobody could help me. Try this.
    -Go to create a new Apple ID and use the same email address as the old apple ID which is locked in on your ipad
    -Create a new password and all that, it will say it send a verification link to your email, in my case my email no longer exists so I could not do this
    - I called Apple to explain this problem and I asked if they could verify it for me, which they did after I convinced them it was worth a try. The guy told me that the verification shouldnt matter and should still be able to login but he did it anyway. You can try skipping this step but if it doesn't work then go ahead.
    -Go to ICloud and click on your account, the email should be grayed out but it should allow you to change that password, put in the new password which you just created.
    -This allowed me to sign in to accept the new terms and conditions but it said "unable to conncet to server" so I just backed out and went to "Delete Account" and it worked!
    The whole idea is to re-create your old apple ID into Apple's system and then use that new password. The guy at Apple said tons of people called about this problem and nobody could solve it. I thanked him for helping me and he thanked me for helping him. I hope this helps you!

    1. Don't confuse "Apple ID" with iTunes Account ID.  You can have many Apple IDs but only one iTunes account active at a time.
    2. If you "changed" your iTunes account ID, you actually have 2 accounts - one under the old name plus the new name.
    3. You can't merge the accounts - they remain separate.  Apps purcahsed under the old account name will update ONLY WHEN THE PHONE IS SIGNED IN TO THE OLD ACCOUNT NAME  and visa versa.
    4. Likewise, you can sync only the apps, music, media purchased under the account the phone AND iTunes are signed in to.

    At some point, my logins started failing on and off on my pc and phone.   After multiple resets, I could not get it to connect. I have the most recent client software and there is no indication anywhere that any action is required. Here's how it went for me
    This link https://help.rhapsody.com/entries/25066508-Verizon-sign-in-issues gives an overview of the problem.  I guess Rhapsody is revising it's account base.   A more active notification progrm would have been helpful.
    Using the link https://account.rhapsody.com/myacct/migration/verizon.html  allows you to fix the problem. The web page asks for you mobile number, sends a code to the phone and puts up a page asking you to confirm the code.  You get to use an email address as your login-id heareafter.
    After this was done everything returned to normal and my quite extensive playlists etc remained intact.

  • Lync Sign in issue through Proxy

    Not to be confused when said Lync Sign in issue through Proxy as it is unlikely that this is an issue with the proxy settings. Find it out yourself from the behavior below.
    It is in fact a weird issue that I have come across.
    Overall there are almost 30 Lync Users accounts.
    And they are trying to authenticate to external Lync Server.
    28/30 works fine through the proxy. Except for 2 user accounts.
    The proxy settings are same for all the users and no individual configurations set.
    Now, here is the interesting part. Go out of the network and authenticate this 2 user account to any of the workstation which is not going through Proxy, it works. Come back to the workstation which is going through the proxy and try again, it will work
    now.
    Now, I am interested in finding how exactly does Microsoft authenticates their Lync users. And what are the step by step procedure of User Authentication for Lync service. And why is this happening?
    Just to add some more point here, these happens only with 2 specific accounts.
    And if you try using these 2 accounts on any of the 28 working workstations, which is going through the proxy, the first time, it would still fail to get authenticated.
    Can someone put a highlight on these behaviors? is there any user specific settings on the lync server?

    You can enable Lync client logging to collect the log file to check the sign in process for these two users can’t sign in externally.

    I’m a VZT customer and want to sign-in to my VZT account.  Why am I being sent to a My Verizon sign-in page with a VerizonWireless URL (website address)?
    Thank you for raising this issue, and it is always good to ask when you see something unexpected in an online experience.  We are in the process of making some security enhancements and other changes to our wireline My Verizon site.   At least during the early stages of this important process you may notice a verizonwireless.com URL at the top of your browser screen – this is normal. 
    I’ve selected the “Keep Me Signed In” function on the My Verizon sign-in page.  It used to work on the old “verizon.com” URL (website address) sign-in page, but it doesn’t work on the new “verizonwireless.com” URL sign-in page.  Why?
    We apologize for your inconvenience.  We are in the process of making some security enhancements and other changes to our wireline My Verizon site.  “Keep Me Signed In” is one of the items being changed and is unavailable for some of our customers.  This is a temporary situation until the function can be removed entirely.

  • COST GL account when goods issue - enhancement or user exist

    There is a requirement from F&A department for different COGS GL account based on Customer Account Assignment Group value when goods issues (GI) (goods movement).  Customer Account Assignment Group field name is KNVV-KTGRD.   The solution is NOT possible for standard SAP SD (pricing procedure) / MM (T-Code:OBYC with GBB).    Therefore, I am searching solution for enhancement.
    the requirement is like following:
    KNVV-KTGRD                                   COGS GL account at goods issue
    01                    Domestic                   818100
    02                    Export                       818200
    03                    Testing - sample         818300
    04                    Testing - VOM            818400
    05                    Franchise                   818500
    Can you please let me know what and how this can be resolve by enhancement or user exist?

    The requirement is to provide different COGS GL account based on the Customer Account Assignment Group value(KNVV-KTGRD) when SAP performs goods issue.  for example, movement type 601,
    This means, when company ships goods to differnt customers, then SAP should generate different COGS GL account.
    for example, when company ships goods to customer account assignment group '01' (Domestic customers), then SAP should generate COGS GL account 818100.
    when company ships goods to customer account assignment group '02' (export customes), then SAP should generate COGS GL account 818200. 
    when company ships goods to customer account assignment group '03' (Testing - sample customers), then SAP should generate COGS GL account 818300. 
    the logic is following:
    KNVV-KTGRD              COGS GL account at goods issue
    01 Domestic                 818100
    02 Export                     818200
    03 Testing - sample      818300
    04 Testing - VOM         818400
    05 Franchise                818500
    I am not good at user exist.  
    Can you please provide solution with step-by-step guide?

    There's a scenario here in Plantation Industry that we require to default GL account upon goods issue to maintenance order based on activity type assigned in the order instead of only posting to consumption account, is there anyway in OBYC or user exit able to fulfill requirement mentioned?

    With help of general Modifier in combination of valuation class you can assign GL as per your wish for offset posting incase of GI to order/anything
    Example
    Transaction key-GBB
    General modification- VBR
    Valuaction Class - checked
    Dr/CR- checked
    Assign the general modifier to T code MIGO , through OMJJ

    If you have already redeemed your iTunes Store gift card, then the balance should be able to be viewed on your iTunes Store account.  As long as you are signed in with the same Apple ID on your Apple TV, the purchase on the Apple TV will be deducted from your credit balance.

    Assuming you have (1) signed out, then (2) waited 30 minutes and it didn't work you will need to contact iTunes again.

  • Business account sign up page

    when signing up for a business account, I made a data entry error on SSN and I cannot go back and update, the system kkeps saying, not you and to correct on the sign up page, but it will not let me update, I can update birthday, address etc. but not the SSN. worst part is I cannot get out of the page. I log off and log back on and it takes me back to that business account sign up page and still cannot update SSN.  cleat cashe and still back to same page. any help would be appreciated. thanks

    1. Delete Caches.db
        Close all windows and quit all applications.
        Hold "option" key down and click "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.
        Select "Library" from the dropdown.
        Library > Caches > com.apple.Safari > Caches.db
        Right click the Caches.db file and select "Move To Trash.
        Close windows and relaunch Safari.
    2. Empty Caches
        Safari > Preference > Advanced
        Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
        Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
        Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
    3.  Delete Cookies
        Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and other website data:
        Click "Details" button.
         Remove Google cookies.

  • Apple account signed into two phones, need to remove one.

    Tried searching for this scenario but didnt find anything exactly like my situation.
    My wife got a new iphone and gave me her old one so i could play games (I have my Apple ID/ iTunes account). The old phone I'm using doesnt function as a phone anymore (no cell service) and I just use it on Wifi to download and play app.
    The issue is her apple iD is still signed into the iCloud and anytime she adds a new contact on her phone it also prompts the old phone to update.
    My fear in turning off the cloud is that this will impact not only the old phone but her new phone as I'd be making a change to her overall Apple account.
    My goal is I want to completely remove my wifes content from the old phone (either by disconnecting her account or by resetting the phone) and I want to be confident that by me doing so, I will not accidently impact her account or anything on her new phone.
    Can anyone confirm the best course of action and /or any risks in doing so?

    it will not effect the other device or her account  at all

  • Lync 2013 for iPad & Windows Mobile Sign in Issue

    Hi,
    I hope someone can help with a very frustrating issue I'm having with Lync 2013 on iOS & Windows Mobile - it won't sign in with an error message saying 'We can't sign you in. Please check your account info and try again'
    I know my account info is right as I use it to sign in to the desktop client when working remotely, and it also works fine on an Android client.
    The Lync remote connectivity analyser passes all the tests, I can get to the xml file using https://lyncdiscover.domain.org/autodiscover/autodiscoverservice.svc/root from a laptop, but from the iPad it's just a blank screen.
    I've tried using auto detect, and entering details manually, but still no luck. I'm completely stumped. I've trawled blogs, form posts etc, but nothing. HELP!!!
    Some details - we have a FE server, and an Edge Server, both running Lync 2013 with latest updates. We use nGinX as the RP and that all seems to be fine. It just doesn't want to authenticate me (or anyone else).

    Hi,
    Did the sip address name match with User Principle Name?
    If not, when you enter the login information please also populate the Username filed using the format domainusername and test again.

  • Nokia account sign in is blocked

    I m using Lumia 620. Care centre replaced my handset due to problems. But after replacement I can't sign in to nokia account from my emails & accounts and also from mix radio.

    When a solution is found, you get notified by E-mail. According to that thread, this issue is about the first time usage only. Therefore, if you create/add your Nokia Account via a different Internet Service Provider than Airtel, this issue should be solved (workaround) in your case. Is it?

    Good point because it started around the same time. However, I see no relation because a Internet Service Provider should not block TLS connections. Furthermore, according the reports this is just when adding an Nokia Account. Could be a routing issue, but again I have no idea why this happens only while adding. Anyway, I am curious as you, what causes this. My conclusion: An engineer located in India has to troubleshoot this.
