Account without payment method

I've had my itms account for a few years now and have been quite happy with how I have used it.
Essentially I buy all the tunes and authorise them on my wifes, the 2 kids and the mac in the kitchen.
However I figure it's time they all had their own accounts. I figured I can give 'em an allowance with these vouchers I can buy (don't actually know if you need an account to do this). They also want to redeem some free songs from coke bottles etc (they do need an account for this)
My eldest set up his own account last week.
I've just tried to set up an account for my youngest but can't get past supplying information about how they will pay. There is no option for none.
I really dare not let him use my credit card or have it put on our telephone bill, but I also realise my eldest couldn't have given that information either. My eldest being 16 just grunts when I try to find out what he did.
There is one obvious difference: my eldest used his own non .mac email address and therefore went through the process of creating a new account, my youngest has his own .mac account and isn't allowed to create an account but is required to verify his method of payment.
This all seems a bit odd to me and complicated, so hopefully I have explained well enough.
Basically how do I set up an itms account with a .mac email address without giving payment details so I can give him an allowance and he can redeem free songs

You can setup an account with a Gift Card, Gift Certificate, Paypal, or Allowance.

These are user-to-user forums, to contact iTunes Support and ask them why you are getting the message to contact them :
- go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww
- click on your country's flag
- click on the Contact Support at the bottom of the left-hand column
- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

NRL digital Pass - Link Telstra account as payment method

Hi, I am trying to subscibe to the NRL Digital Pass and link it to my Telstra account as payment method. When I get to the page stated in my last post, it has my details pre-filled on the page and only asks me to input my account number or mobile number. After entering either my mobile number or my account number, I receive the error message "Please try again - those details are different to our records. To change the iCloud ID on your devices you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted (if using iOS 7), then sign back in with your current ID.
If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, you will have to temporarily recreate it in order to delete the existing account. To do this, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Why isn't My Itunes Offering me the without payment method? :S

I follwed all the necessary procedures leading up to the payment method, however I did not Have the option of the "Without a Credit Card" option, it was nowhere on my screen....... What is wrong?

Assuming you are referring to the procedures set out in HT2534: Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card I suspect you got the method slightly wrong.
As I understand it you can only follow the steps that allow you to create an account without a credit/debit card if you do them in the right order as you create a new AppleID. If you have already created the AppleID that you want to use, and iTunes is requesting a payment card, then you need to attach a credit/debit card to the account in order to prove that you are resident in the country whose store you are trying to use. Once that has been established you can set the payment method to None.

Hey There.! I like to complete my Apple ID registration. Then, when the payment method appears on screen I found that no "NONE" button for the payment method. How I want to complete the registration without none credit card payment method. thank you.

What country are you in, and did you follow the instructions on that page exactly for creating an account i.e. you selected a free app in the store and clicked on 'Create Apple ID' when 'buying' it ? I've just tried it and I got the 'none' option.

Unless the instructions on this page are followed when creating an account : Create an iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store account without a credit card or other payment method - Apple Support…
then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store.
If you are being prompted to review the account then you could see if this post by mountaingoatgirl lets you do so without needing to enter credit card details : https://discussions.apple.com/message/24303054#24303054
If not then you will either need to enter your credit card details (you should be able to remove it after entering it), or create a new account (and use the instructions on the above link when creating it).

APP without payment Method specified.

Hi Guys,
I want to run the APP and I want the result to be just the payments made to the vendors. Later we are going to take the print out of the payments from the payment run and send it to the bank via a print out of the same.
Is it possible to run F110 without giving any payment method?
I dont want my check lots affected. So i dont want to use method C or any other payment method.
Does SAP just pay the vendors without taking the payment method?Can i run the F110 for just paying the vendors without any method?

If i am able to understand your question well, you want to make payments to vendors but not issue any check. Instead the bank will make the payment based on the print out from F110.
This can be achieved using payment orders. With payment orders, vendors amount get tagged for payment, and the subledger is updated only when the bank statement reflecting the payment is processed in SAP. Thus payment document will get posted only after the bank has made the payment, and not when you process F110
However you will need to create a seperate payment method for this.

when i am trying to set up a child's account under my apple id, it is asking me for a payment method and saying i only have a Debit card on file when it is a visa. how do i fix this? I can't go past this step

What sort of visa card is it, debit or credit ? To be able to set up a child account you have to have a credit card linked to your iTunes account due to privacy laws, debit cards are not accepted when creating child accounts : Family Sharing and Apple IDs for kids - Apple Support
Before you begin, make sure that you're using a credit card as your iTunes Store and App Store payment method. To comply with child online privacy protection laws, you will use the CVV or security code from a valid credit card as part of providing your parental consent. If the card on file is a debit card or another payment method, you’ll be asked to provide a credit card before you can continue. After you create the child's Apple ID, you can change your payment method back to a debit card.

Paypal account subscription payment method

I viewed my account and found that my account is a paypal account. I also found that the last billing date was 19th Jul, which is just about a day ago. However, I couldn't find the transaction records on my paypal account, neither can I find any detailed info on the receipt for 19th Jul. Can anybody tells me where I can find which paypal account is linked to my spotify? Thanks!

Well today I was finally notified from Paypal that my payment went through, and so far I haven't seen the blue warning bar for hours, so I think the problem is solved :-)

Accoriding to itunes you can set up an account wothout a credit card - for buying with a gift certificate. But when you go through the screens, you cannot complete without putting in credit card details!!! its driving me crazy - anyone know how to do it??

hi i see you're from england, you are using the uk music store? (i just checked the uk store and was able to get to the "redeem gift certificate page, click on "gift certificates" under "accounts" on the main uk itunes store page) if so from apple help:
"You can use a gift certificate only in the iTunes Music Store for the same country in which the certificate was purchased"
"To use an iTunes gift certificate, iTunes Music Card, click Music Store in the Source list, then click Gift Certificate or iTunes Music Card, and follow the onscreen instructions.
If you don't already have an Apple or AOL account, you'll need to create one before you can redeem the certificate or iTunes Music Card. You do not need to enter credit card information if you want to only redeem the certificate or iTunes Music Card."

Unable to select confirmed bank account as payment method

Customer service has been no help (not a surprise from what I read here). Have been paying my rent using confirmed bank account for almost a year. Suddenly, the only options I have are PayPal credit or my Visa debit card. This latter is linked to the same confirmed bank account but carries, of course, a $36.55 fee. Why has the option to continue using my confiemd bank account been removed? Thanks in advance for your time.

Thanks for reaching out to us here! We're sorry to hear about the trouble completing your payment using your bank account. Each time you make a payment from your PayPal account it goes through a series of filters to determine how much potential risk may be involved with that particular payment. If the system deems a transaction to be high risk then it may limit the funding options that are available or block the payment all together from going through. It sounds like this is what you may be running into here.
These filters are in place to help protect you from possible transactions occurring from your account by an unauthorized third party, or in some instances from potentially bad sellers. They look at things like payment history, log in location, and computer ID to help protect you. From time to time though we may come across a false positive where a legitimate transaction is being blocked.
Another thing that could be causing this is the number of payments currently processing from the bank account. If there are a lot of payments pending through the bank that have not completed yet, the system may limit the ability to fund further transactions using this account until some of these transactions have completed.

Family sharing not allowing me to make purchases without using my husband's payment method

My Husband and I recently took the plunge and joined Family Sharing.
Having pretty hectic lives, we haven't worked it all out as yet - and today, I tried purchasing an App - and all of a sudden I am being required to use my husbands iTunes account and Payment Methods, rather than my own, which I have used for many years.
We did make my husband the organiser, however, I am on the account as an adult, and find this sudden change invasive and unacceptable. Nothing in the literature explaining family sharing says that the adult who is not the organiser, can no longer control their own purchases and purchase methods.
we love the idea of family sharing for photos, movies, apps, books etc .... However I do not want my purchases and subscription communications to go through to my husband. We are both busy, independent adults - and although we have nothing to hide from one another, what we each do should be communicated to and controlled by each of us.
I just called support, and they are telling me that there is nothing they can do about this ?
Anyone got any advice, or experiences to share ? TIA

Your purchases will be charged against the Organizer's charge card on file, but they will reside under the Apple ID that you are purchasing them under (so if later, you were to leave Family Sharing, they would be "owned" by your Apple ID). If you have a gift card on file for your Apple ID, it will take the funds from the gift card first before going to the Organizer's charge card, but the entire set-up of Family Sharing is one that is designed to charge all purchases against the Organizer's card on file.
How is the set-up invasive, exactly? Family Sharing is primarily designed for families, especially ones with small children. The FAQs and ad pages are very clear about the fact that the Organizer pay for all purchases:
