Accounting - Account Assignment - How to Undo

Is there a way to undo the Account Assignment in cProjects (Accounting Tab)
Currently the cProject - cPR1 is with Transferred, Released Status and a WBS - WBS1 has been assigned at cProject level.
Now, we need to assign this WBS1 to another cProject - cPR2 - but in the Accounting tab WBS1 is greyed out.
And When we try to Delete the Assignment from the cPR1, the system status does not allow this
Any help, ideas are welcome

Rohit,
As Mattias said, not possible to delete assignment once Project is released.
You can check by assigning other WBS say WBS 2 of same PS Project instead of WBS 1
Thus WBS 1 will be available for your cProjects Project CPR2

Hi ,
The menu path where you can assign GL accounts to Excise Duties is :
SPRO > Logistics General > Tax on Goods Movement > India > Account Assignment > Specify GL accounts per Excise Transaction.
In this activity, you assign the excise and CENVAT accounts to G/L accounts.
When you come to execute the various transactions, the system determines which G/L accounts to post to by looking at the:
-Excise group
-Company code
-Chart of accounts
Furthermore, if you want separate account determination settings within an excise group, you can also use sub transaction types.

Dear all,
while capturing excise invoice in J1IS trx, the system is showing the error message that g/l account not assigned to RG23AECS in customizing.
Our Fi consultant has maintained the G/L account in customizing in Specify G/L account per excise trx.
Kindly guide me how to overcome this issue.we are using Taxinn tax procedure.

Check the following in Customising
IMG - Logisitics general - tax on goods & movements -
1. Specify excise accts per transaction - Excise transaction type - OTHR - Credit indicator - RG23AECS.
2.Specify GL accts per transaction - Assign GL accts for RG23AECS - For OTHR Excise transaction type.

First identify GL account which you have assigned in OBYC . then go to FS00 and enter your account no. and press on Edit Cost Element in that there is 3rd tab page Default account assignment there give cost center and save it.
Now try once again.

You must assign each account to an account group. The account group ensures that only the relevant screens and fields are displayed and ready for input for each of the customers different partner functions. For example, the address, communication, and bank data fields are omitted for the account group for one-time accounts.
You maintain the account groups in Customizing (IMG), or copy the defaulted account groups.
The account group controls:
The type of number assignment used for the account number
A number interval from which the account number is chosen. The system uses the account number to identify the customer.
Which fields are displayed when you enter or change customer master data and whether or not an entry must be made in these fields (field status)
Whether the account is a one-time account
To create a master record, you have to specify an account group. The account group cannot be changed once you have created the master record. Your system administrator, however, can change the above account group specifications.
For more information about account group specifications, see the Define Account Groups with Screen Layout activity in the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
For instance, if you implement Sales and Distribution (SD) after implementing Financial Accounting (FI), changes to an account group may be necessary if you wish to add fields that were previously hidden in the master record.

If my understanding to Mr. Ravi's suggestion is right,
The Account keys are assigned to G/Ls in VKOA, for the combination of:
Condition Type: KOFI (Acct. Determination) / KOFK (Acct. Detre. with CO)
+
Chart of Accts.
+
Sales Org.
+
Customer Acct. Assignment Grp. (from CMR)
+
Material Acct. Assignment Grp. (from MMR)
Based up on these combinations Revenue Account Determination takes place in SD Module.

Always used 1 main account. Started using individual user accounts. So how do I use software or applications with a lot of data like Quicken under my own user account?

I recently upgraded our family's mac to OS X. I thought this was the perfect time to create and use "user accounts". We had always used 1 main account. So how do I use software or applications with a lot of data like Quicken under my own user account? I wanted to be able to manage my own itunes library, iphone apps, messages. But I still really need to use the Stuff I have in Quicken essentials. I don't want to have to restart all my work done in Quicken already.

I haven't used Quicken in a while, but most applications store your files in your Documents folder. Is that where your Quicken data file is? What you do next depends on how many family members need to get at that data.
If multiple family members need to use the Quicken data file, try moving it to the Documents folder in the Shared account. That is an account that all accounts can see. It's at the same level as the other accounts. In other words, Shared is one level up from your Home account, or Hard Drive/Users/Shared.
If you're the only one allowed to see that Quicken data, move the Quicken data file from the old main account to your account, and don't leave a copy behind. You can use the Shared folder as a way station for the transfer since you won't be able to see both accounts' Documents folders at the same time (because you're not allowed to peek into other people's accounts). Or you can use another disk or server for the transfer, as long as you can get to it when logged into either account.

Error Message: No G/L account is assigned to account symbol 1 / 5..3.3

Appreciate your expertise on the above error message as per subject: No G/L account is assigned to account symbol 1 / 5.3.3
While posting securities - bond investment transaction via TBB1 (post flow), we got error messages for both Account Symbol 1 and 5.3.3
Steps taken, assuming it'll resolve the problem are:
1. We've defined a new Account Assignment Reference for Bond Investment - Held-to-maturity.
2. Then, at Account Assignment Reference Determination, we change the constant from the SAP standard to the new one created at Step 1.
3. After that, we've added in the Allocate Additional Account Assignments to Account Assignment Reference by Company Code.
4. Finally, we've defined Account Determination based on the new Account Assignment Reference.
Despite performing all of the above steps, we still receive the error message. Please help. Additionally, this is for our new Company Code.

These are the steps that we did for our new product Securities - Bond Investment.
1. IMG - Define AAR : We have both standard 50300 and our new AAR BD1100-HTM
2. IMG - Define AAR Determination for Securites : at constant now it's ponting to the standard 50300. We even tried to point to our new AAR BD1100-HTM. Both still produced the same error message.
3. IMG - Allocate Additional Account Assignment to AAR : New Company Code --> New AAR BD1100-HTM --> BArea --> CCtr
4. IMG - Define Account Determination - Assignment of GL Account to Account Symbols : 1 --> BD1100-HTM
5.3.3 --> BD1100-HTM
5. Then, created a Class ID as our 1st purchase of Corporate Bonds by using the standard Product Type 04I Fixed Interest Bonds
6. Next, we encountered the error message while performing TBB1 Post Flow for the above ID Number created. It says AAR 50300 is not assigned with GL Account for Symbols 1 & 5.3.3.... It doesn't point to our new AAR BD1100-HTM even we have configured earlier.
7. And we tried to perform TPM28, but we got nothing as the system prompted "No Transfer Was Carried Out"

Well, you can probably do it, but then you also have to buy the products again to use them from the other account since they cannot be transferred or shared between accounts. So if you have 7 computers and want the same movie authorized on all of them, you'll have to buy the movie twice and then authorize some devices on one account and others on the other.
Do you really have >5 devices, or is it just that you have a lot of devices authorized that no longer exist but are tying up authorization slots? If that's the case, you can deauthorize things.

If you are using your main account for iTunes, you should continue to do so, otherwise you will lose access to many of your purchased items made that account.
You can delete the AOL account for iCloud only on your iPhone and first iPad, by going to settings > iCloud, scrolling down and hitting delete account button. You will then enter your me account details into the iCloud settings.
When you delete your AOL account from the iCloud settings, the phone should give you the option of keeping your data on the phone, you need to make sure that you choose this option, and also choose the option to merge when you add your new account back.

Stop using one. Everything you've previously purchased from it has that Apple ID stored inside the file, which can't be changed.
