Accrual Balance not getting carried over

For one of my client's employees, the mid-year accrual balance is not getting carried over.
08-JUL-2008 is the hire date of the employee. The client has end-dated the accrual plan element entry for this employee on 23-NOV-2009 and created a new one (for the same accrual plan) from 24-NOV-2009. The balance is getting carried over from 2008 to 23-NOV-2009, but NOT from 24-NOV-2009 to 31-DEC-2009.
08-JUL-2008 TO 31-DEC-2008 - Accrual Balance is 19.828 days.
01-JAN-2009 TO 23-NOV-2009 - Accrual Balance carried over from 2008 is 19.828 days.
24-NOV-2009 TO 31-DEC-2009 - Zero Accrual Balance is getting carried over.
Also, the client has run the PTO Carry Over process thru’ out for all the years. But no help there.
I just noticed that the accrual plan 'Annual Leave Plan 41 Days' and the respective balances, elements, links etc., were created in the system on 19-DEC-2009. Could this be the reason why the net entitlement balance is not getting carried over to 2009?
Would appreciate any pointers in this regard.

Hi,
Are you running the carryover process for both the plans. Can you share the accrual carry over for the new plan. As you have said the elements and links are created as on 19-DEC-2009, the balance should be carried over for the days between 19-DEC-2009 to 31-DEC-2009 if you are doing the partial accrual.

Setting/preferences do not get copied over

I have recently copied my library to a external hardrive. I noticed that any preferences and or settings (equalizer etc etc ) I had previously in place do not get copied over when I copied this library back ont another computers iTunes. How can I save all the settings when I'm backing up the library.

How to get a note to carry over to the next measure?

I want to know how to "slide" into the one beat from the 15/16 beat of the previous measure. In other words, how can I get a note to cross over from one measure to the next?

Thanks for bearing with me.
I created a region (up in the track timeline) which spans two measures. When I pencil in a note in the grid below (in Piano Roll) near the end of measure one, I cannot extend it or drag it into measure two (even though they both reside in the same region). Even stranger, whatever note I write into the grid in measure one gets "ghost" duplicated in measure two.

Zero balance not getting moved from TES to ZES

Hi,
I have a request for a calculated time balance, which I have created. I also created a PCR to calculate it.
Now my problem is that the customer wants to see the balance even if it is equal to zero, but it appears that a balance does not get moved to ZES when it is zero.
Any ideas how to get this done?

the internal tables of SAP or Time Management are not designed to hold ZERO values...if the time type/Quota does not come ..it should be interpreted as ZERO.

Text boxes not being carried over in Captivate 5

Hi,
I am trying to import a PPT presentation into Captivate 5. The process is simple enough however, once the slides are converted, it's nor carrying over the text boxes. The slide titles and inserted diagrams are there but no text!

Material not getting copied over from Soource to Destination Document

I have created a contract.& when I tried to create a Debit memo Request with reference to the contract I am getting a message that 'Material in Item 10 does not exist'(Msg No-V1 474) &' Item 10 contains errors & cannot be copied'..Though the material that I am trying to copy exists in the sales area of the Debit Memo Request & also it is not blocked for Sales..Master Record for the material also exists in the system.I am getting this error only for a specific Company code/Sales Area.
Any help to fix this issue is highly appreciated.

Check the contract for the incompletion log, the document may not be completed ,
also check the copying requirement -001 maintained in VTAA.

IWeb Revisions not being carried over when published.

I've been trying to revise a few lines of copy on my site but everytime I publish the revisions, the old page appears. I went so far as to erase the site and rebuild the site and the pages - but the old site appears. I went up to my iDisk and clicked on the site and the proper site comes up.

Most likely your browser is accessing the old pages that are saved in its cache.
Try resetting the cache in your browser. In addition when you try to go to that page with your browser try adding a question mark at the end of the address line, this should force your browser look for the page on the internet rather than in your own cache.
If you post your site address, others on this forum can look at your site and tell you what they are seeing.

Item text not getting copied into sales order from inbound Idoc

Hi All,
I have a scenario where in we get the sales order created through a inbound 850 idoc .
The trading partner sends the sales order information which gets through GENTRAN and gets posted as inbound idoc in SAP .
The problem here is that ,there are segments with values for item text in the idoc ,but the item text is not getting carried over to the sales order which is getting created because of this idoc.
There is no problem with the header text and it is present both at the idoc as well as the sales order level.
I have checked the configuration for text determination and everything looks fine .
Please let me know has anyone come across a scenario like this .This is important as our EDI is getting failed when an outbound 810 is sent from SAP for the simple reason that there is no item text .

Do you have access to the genuine 850 EDI message? Does it contain the item texts? If so then there is probably a problem with the (XSLT) mapping EDI 850 -> ORDERS.ORDERS05 IDoc.
Are you able to test the mapping independent of the EDI transmission? This way you could nail down the problem.

C/O dosent carry over along with billto to part func. using custom Creat SO

We have a custom program to create sales order ZVA01 which creates sales oder. When using that program , we eneter the sold to , the bill to party carries over to the partner function and everything else carries forward except the C/O(Care off) dose not carry forward. I have checked with the MDM group and its all set up correctly . When using the trabnsaction VA01 to create sales order it does carry over everything to the partner function even the C/O. We need to use this cutom program for a specific purpose so using VA01 is not teh solution to our problem. I would like to know why everything except the c/o part is not getting carried over. Could anyone please tell me what maybe the reason for c/o not to carry over in my custom transaction to create sales order.

You have my deepest sympathy. I can't imagine anyone trying to replicate SAPMV45A modules into a custom program, although I once removed about 20-30K lines of "cloned" SD code, replacing it with standard SAP with exits, transaction variants and variant transactions. Or, perhaps you've just written a front-end that executes VA01?
Obviously, you've missed something in SAPMV45A partner functions. I think you'll have to find that and replicate to get the missing partner(s). What you've encountered is a spectacularly good example of why not to attempt to "re-write" standard SAP functionality, IMHO.

I can not get my IE 8 favorites over to Firefox (ver.25.0.1) bookmarks even after exporting IE fav. to html file and then in Bookmarks importing thru Manager!!

using XP professional, have hundreds of Favorites in IE 8. I can not get them over into Firefox either directly from the Bookmarks Manager (show all bookmarks/import and backup/Import data from another browser OR by exporting the Favorites in IE 8 to a html file (did) and then coming back over to Firefox Bookmarks and using the Bookmarks/show all bookmarks/import and backup/import bookmarks from html file. I find the file, double click it open BUT nothing happens in the Bookmarks Library???
It is not a case on some come over - nothing happens??

Did you try a search in the Bookmarks Manager (Library) for some know bookmarks?
Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

Categories carry over from Entourage to IPhone ?

Hello all.
We're all still waiting patiently in Australia for the IPhone (only a month or two we believe...).
My query revolves around syncing and what gets carried over.
At the moment I run a Palm Treo 680 (nice phone), using a plug in via ISync to sync the Entourage files via ICal, etc and back to the Treo. The only problem I have is that the categories I set in Entourage don't carry over in the sync process, it then becomes a "note" on the calender event/contact.
If I create an event, assign it a category (eg Holiday), will the ITunes sync process bring all of that over (and visa versa ?). This for me is critical, as I used to be able to do this same process seamlessly on the PC and Outlook 2007 (which I ain't going back to anytime soon !)

O2 (UK) - Minutes Carry Over From Previous Month?

If you've got an iPhone 3G in the UK, and you're on an O2 tarrif, do your remaining voice minutes and texts automatically get carried over to the next month?
I ask because a friend of mine has just completed her first month of owning an iPhone 3G. But, none of her remaining voice minutes or texts got carried over to the new month. So she's starting again with the basic 75 voice minutes, and 125 texts. Is this what should happen? Seems wrong to me.

On any o2 package the minutes and texts do not carry over. The £30 package is very poor value wise so if you are going over your minutes I would move up to the £35 package. To break what you get down to monetary values:
What the £30 package gives you.
75 mins is £15 of calls(20p per minute)
125 texts is £15 of texts(12p per text)
Unlimited wifi free(cloud and bt openzone, normally £7.50 per month)
Unlimited internet free(via network signal, normally £7.50 per month)
Total price would be £30 as well.
What the £35 package gives you.
600 mins is £120 of calls (20p per minute)
500 texts is £60 of texts (12p per text)
Unlimited Wifi is free(cloud and bt openzone, normally £7.50 per month)
Unlimited Internet is free(via network signal, normally £7.50 per month)
So £180 worth of calls for £35.
Worth it for a extra £5.

Contacts created on the iPhone do not get synced to Outlook Contacts

For some reason, contacts created on the iPhone do not get transferred over to Outlook Contacts.
I sync the iPhone to my work computer for Calendar and Contacts. I sync to my home iMac for tunes, video, and photos. So far this is the only problem I've encountered. Calendar entries created on iPhone sync to Outlook Calendar ok (and vice-versa). My iTunes sync setting on the work PC is Sync contacts with Outlook. All Contacts. The other two choices ("Selected Groups" and "Put new contacts created on this iPhone into the Group") are greyed out and unavailable.
I'd appreciate any advice....

I have been unable to sync Outlook 2002 and iPhone 2G since I upgraded to 7.7 and 2.0. Don't want to have to upgrade outlook but will do so if I know it will work. Anybody not having the problem???

Manual discounts are not getting copied from Quote to Sales order

If I assign a manual discount to any item in Quotation document, this condition type with its discount amount is not getting
copied over to Sales order document, I have selected the drop down "D Copy all conditions" in the copy control for item categories,
and both quote & Sales order use the same pricing procedure, i am i missing something here?

Please try to adopt the standard pricing type in the copy control between QT and OR which is "A - Copy Pricing components Unchanged and redetermine Scales".
