ACE 20 Modular - show tech too large

Hi
A Client sent me a show tech of this ACE 20, is inserted into a VSS, but this file is very large, the reason is a command "show acl-merge merged-list vlan 93".. Somebody can tell me is this information is normal, or not, I think that is possible attack point to the farm server. the service is up, in the other ace20. the symptom is can not reach the VIP of the service.

  • PSE 6 slide show photos too large for TV screen

I have been collecting, scanning and saving family photos for over a year to create a slide show for my 81 yr. old Dad. I create a slide show with PSE 6, save to a CD and play on the TV. No matter what pixel size I resize the photos to they are still too large for the TV screen - not just one TV screen but different ones I try. I loose heads at the top, feet at the bottom, people on the sides. I have been researching but have not found the answer to solve my problem. Anyone have the answer or some suggestions I would be very appreciative.  Thanks.

Well, first of all, choose the right resolution and frame-rate...
Are you working in NTSC (30 fps), or PAL (25 fps)...?
Use one of the common DV formats /
if you choose HD, 1080i, then your TV must be able to recognize that format,
    otherwise images get cut off...
    Format                                           Rectangular Size              Square Size
    DV NTSC................................................720x480.............................. ...720x540
    DV PAL...................................................720x576............................ .....768x576
    HDV 720p..................................................NA................................. ....1280x720
    HDV 1080i.................................................NA................................. ....1920x1080
Stay with your chosen format through-out your whole project...
(PNG, TIFF or PSD), import those files into your video editor.
Depending on the Operational System (Mac or Windows), one has many choices...
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_video_editing_software
After editing, import those files into your chosen Authoring software for burning,
they will take care of the appropriate compression.
(I would recommend burning to DVD, not CD, one will achieve much better quality...

  • IChat font sizes show up too large on other computers

Has anyone else seen an issue with iChat 4's fonts showing up considerably larger on other people's (usually Windows-based) computers? I'm using the default Helvetica 12 and it shows up at least 2px larger on other's screens.
If I make the font closer to 10, it shows up fine on other's screens. Then of course, it seems to small on my end.
    Any ideas?

Most likely the differences between a Macs 72pixels per inch and the PC settings default is 96 pixels
No one has complained to me about this.
It may of course be that they are defaulting to a different font because they don't have the one you are sending.

  • InputFile doesn't show File too large message

    Hello,
I've got an inputFile component on my adf page and maximum file size specified in web.xml:
    <af:inputFile id="if1" binding="#{backingBeanScope.UploadBean.inputFile}"
       valueChangeListener="#{backingBeanScope.UploadBean.onUploading}"
       autoSubmit="true" simple="true" label="Upload"/>
    <context-param>
        <description>Should be 250Mb</description>
        <param-name>org.apache.myfaces.trinidad.UPLOAD_MAX_DISK_SPACE</param-name>
        <param-value>262144000</param-value>
</context-param>When I'm trying to upload a 400Mb file the application gets busy for a couple of seconds and then a red border around inputFile appears.
    But there's no message.
How could I specify a userfriendly message?
    Like it this post: http://andrejusb.blogspot.ru/2010/12/oracle-ucm-11g-uploading-large-files.html
Upload works fine, this thread is only about "File too large" message.
    Thanks.
    JDev 11.1.2.3

You are wrong. The file uploading starts in the background. Your listener only gets the stream once it already on the server (either in memory or as a temporary file).
If you use Chrome as a browser you should see that the upload starts, but the processing is canceled once the server finds out about the file size. All this is checked before you get control.
Do a small test and remove the autoSubmit="true" and you'll see the message.

  • Contact photo's show us too large?

Not a big deal but just wondering if anyone else is experiencing or have even noticed when some of your contacts call you their contact photo is too big for the screen? Like it was resized or something? I upgraded from 3G to IP4 so I'm sure that's the problem but is it a photo compatibility issue or something else?

Hello. I'm having the *exact same issue* since restoring up my iPhone 4 as a new phone.
When a call comes in or when calling someone on my contact list, the photo associated with the contact person is *skewed larger*. Too big for the screen.
Other than resizing every photo in your contact list, have you found a fix for this issue yet?
    Thanks.

  • Flash CC is showing objects too large on my retina display?

    For example,
If i create an image 2560px wide (which is the width of my screen) in photoshop and then import into Flash CC, it shows up on the Flash stage as almost twice that wide....
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

In addition to simple pixel resolutions photoshop has the option of ppi.
If you choose 144 ppi (which might be reasonable if you target retina displays) and 550x400 pixel
The picture will appear double sized on flash old-school 72pppi /550x400 pixel stage.

  • Conditional format with large data fails and show error as "Selection is too large" in Excel 2007

I am facing a issue in paste special operation using conditional formats for large data in Excel 2007
I have uploaded a file at below given location.
    http://sdrv.ms/1fYC9qE
The file contains two sheets, Sheet "Data" contains the data on which formats are to be applied and sheet "FormatTables" contains the format tables which contains conditional formating.
There are two table in "FormatTables" sheet. Both have some conditional formats applied on it.
    Case 1:
    1. Select the table range of Table1 i.e $A$2:$AV$2
    2. Copy it
    3. Goto Sheet "Data"
    4. Select data area i.e $A$1:$AV$20664
    5. Perform a paste special operation on full range and select "Formats" option while performing paste special.
    Result:
It throws error as "Selection is too large"
    Case 2:
    1. Select the table range of Table2 i.e $A$5:$AV$5
    2. Copy it
    3. Goto Sheet "Data"
    4. Select data area i.e $A$1:$AV$20664
    5. Perform a paste special operation on full range and select "Formats" option while performing paste special.
    Result:
    Formats get applied successfully.
Both are the same format tables with same no of column and applied to same data range($A$1:$AV$20664) where one of the case works and another fails.
The only diffrence is Table1 has appliesTo range($A$2:$T$2) as partial of total table range($A$2:$AV$2) whereas the Table2 has appliesTo range($A$5:$AV$5) same as of its total table range($A$5:$AV$5)
NOTE : This issue is only in Excel 2007

Excel 2007 No Supporting formating to take a formatting form another if source table has more then 16000 rows and if you want to do that in more then it then you have ot inset 1 more row in your format table to have 3 rows
    like: A1:AV3
then try to copy that formating and apply
    Solution Case 1:
1.Select the table range of Table1 i.e AV21 and drage it down to one row down
    2. Select the table range of Table1 i.e $A$2:$AV$3
    3. Copy it
    4. Goto Sheet "Data"
    5. Select data area i.e $A$1:$AV$20664
    6. Perform a paste special operation on full range and select "Formats" option while performing paste special

  • "File size is too large"

When I imported the only 4 files in a particular folder (scans of photos) into the Organiser, the message "File size is too large" came up for two of them instead of preview images, although do appear to have been added to the Catalog as their MB size, pixel dimensions and creation date show in the Properies General tab.
I take it this must relate to pixel count and not the file size per se as the two tifs (13.2 and 13.3 MB but 1792 x 2508 and 2518 x 1798 pixels) are fine, while the two JPGs (12.9 and 30.8 MB and 9616 x 6480 and 7048 x 10376) are the ones without preview images?
I wasn't aware of this as a problem, so can anybody tell me please, have I just set too low a limit somewhere or is there a real restriction?
And is this new to PSE6 or something that's been around for a while?
    Thanks, Peter

    I have a 212mb psd file (a panorama).   I have Elements 6.0 and 4 meg RAM, Vista.
I went through the regedit process as outlined in Adobe Technote kb402760 and upped it to 1,000,000,000.  I would think that would have given enough headroom for my file size.  But it didn't.  I still have the generic "file size too large" on my thumbnails.
I did note that the tech note had a different location for the Software/Adobe/Elements 6.0/Organizer (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ ) from the location in my file structure.  In fact, this string was listed in at least three places OTHER THAN the one indicated in the Technote.  How likely is it that adding "MaxImageSize" to the Elements 6.0 register locations other than specifically indicated is the reason why the file size capacity was not increased.  Why doesn't Elements show up in the location indicated by the Tech Note?
NOTE FOR ADOBE:  Why isn't this a more easily accessible option in the user interface?  If I have a large file that slows things down a bit on my thumbnails, that could be my choice.  This artificial constraint built into the regedits that no one goes to is too much like parental controls for 5 year olds.

  • "Backup too large"...but i still have room on HD!

So I have a 300 GB external HD, and this issue keeps on popping up. Its the 3rd time its happened now. Both previous times, I have just started over, reformatted external drive and started Time Machine from scratch again. I'm real tired of doing that.
So heres the problem: After a while of normal updates, (usually a few weeks or so) at some point I encounter a Time Machine error message stating: "This backup is too large for the backup volume. The backup requires 91.0 GB but only 60.1 GB are available." ( well obviously that last part changes. But thats specifically what it says right now).
OK, so isn't TM supposed to do incremental backups and then when it runs out of space, start deleting the oldest information? Thats my understanding. So in other words, maybe i start losing backups from a month ago or so, but I should still have recent backups. However, when I go into TM, it has not been backup up since I first got that message. The earliest I can go back to is July 20th in Time machine (even though I should be able to access July 21-Today,August 2). Although its true that i only have 60GB left on my external HD, why is TM trying to do a 91GB backup? I have not added 91GB of stuff lately.
My iMac HD is 297GB, so even if that was totally full, since my external is 298GB, i technically should NEVER get a message that my backup is too big. I guess worst scenario, is that my backup only goes back a day or two, when my Imac hard drive is maxed out.
Thanks in advance for any help!

As Larry says, your TM drive is wayyyy too small.
But it looks like something else is going on here, too, that's causing extra-large incremental backups. Whatever that is, getting a larger disk will allow more room for those backups, but won't make them any smaller.
There are some OSX features and 3rd-party applications that cause large Time Machine backups. Common ones are FileVault, vmWare Fusion, Parallels Desktop, Entourage, and Thunderbird. Any application that uses a single large file or database may do this.
FileVault (System Preferences > Security) converts your entire Home Folder into a single, encrypted disk image. So any change to anything in your Home Folder is treated as a change to the encrypted image, and the whole thing is backed-up. TM minimizes the impact, though, by only backing it up when you log out, but it's still going to eat up a lot of space on your TM disk.
Some apps, such as Entourage, sometimes use a single file, often a database, to store their data. With Entourage, for example, every time you send or receive a single message, the whole database is changed, and will be backed-up the next time. Apple mail, of course, stores messages individually, so this doesn't happen.
We've also seen this with folks using the +Directory Backup+ feature in the +Tech Tool Pro+ app. It makes lots of large files in a: +*~/Library/Application Support/TechTool Protection/<name of hard drive/*+ folder.
If in doubt, Click here to download the TimeTracker app. It shows most of the files saved by TM for each backup (excluding some hidden/system files, etc.).
One solution is to simply exclude the item from TM so it isn't backed-up regularly, then when you do want it backed-up, just copy it somewhere that's not excluded.

This is a really hard post to read. See if you can take a bit of time to reword it, but one thing I do understand is that you are getting this error:
page header plus page footer too large for the page.
Typically, you can trust that if the error is thrown, it is true. E.g.; this is not one of those errors that says one thing, and means another. I suspect that you have some field(s) in the header(s) that grow, depending on the data. If there is too much data or the data is too long ( a text for example), the error will be thrown. To resolve this, see if placing the field(s) into a group footer / header will help.

  • TIme Machine  backup grows too large during backup process

I have been using Time Machine without a problem for several months, backing up my imac - 500GB drive with 350g used. Recently TM failed because the backups had finally filled the external drive - 500GB USB. Since I did not need the older backups, I reformatted the external drive to start from scratch. Now TM tries to do an initial full backup but the size keeps growing as it is backing up, eventually becoming too large for the external drive and TM fails. It will report, say, 200G to back up, then it reaches that point and the "Backing up XXXGB of XXXGB" just keeps getting larger. I have tried excluding more than 100GB of files to get the backup set very small, but it still grows during the backup process. I have deleted plist and cache files as some discussions have suggested, but the same issue occurs each time. What is going on???

    Michael Birtel wrote:
Here is the log for the last failure. As you see it indicates there is enough room 345g needed, 464G available, but then it fails. I can watch the backup progress, it reaches 345G and then keeps growing till it give out of disk space error. I don't know what "Event store UUIDs don't match for volume: Macintosh HD" implies, maybe this is a clue?
No. It's sort of a warning, indicating that TM isn't sure what's changed on your internal HD since the previous backup, usually as a result of an abnormal shutdown. But since you just erased your TM disk, it's perfectly normal.
    Starting standard backup
Backing up to: /Volumes/Time Machine Backups/Backups.backupdb
Ownership is disabled on the backup destination volume. Enabling.

Event store UUIDs don't match for volume: Macintosh HD
Backup content size: 309.5 GB excluded items size: 22.3 GB for volume Macintosh HD
No pre-backup thinning needed: 345.01 GB requested (including padding), 464.53 GB available
This is a completely normal start to a backup. Just after that last message is when the actual copying begins. Apparently whatever's happening, no messages are being sent to the log, so this may not be an easy one to figure out.
First, let's use Disk Utility to confirm that the disk really is set up properly.
First, select the second line for your internal HD (usually named "Macintosh HD"). Towards the bottom, the Format should be +Mac OS Extended (Journaled),+ although it might be +Mac OS Extended (Case-sensitive, Journaled).+
Next, select the line for your TM partition (indented, with the name). Towards the bottom, the Format must be the same as your internal HD (above). If it isn't, you must erase the partition (not necessarily the whole drive) and reformat it with Disk Utility.
Sometimes when TM formats a drive for you automatically, it sets it to +Mac OS Extended (Case-sensitive, Journaled).+ Do not use this unless your internal HD is also case-sensitive. All drives being backed-up, and your TM volume, should be the same. TM may do backups this way, but you could be in for major problems trying to restore to a mis-matched drive.
Last, select the top line of the TM drive (with the make and size). Towards the bottom, the *Partition Map Scheme* should be GUID (preferred) or +Apple Partition Map+ for an Intel Mac. It must be +Apple Partition Map+ for a PPC Mac.
If any of this is incorrect, that's likely the source of the problem. See item #5 of the Frequently Asked Questions post at the top of this forum for instructions, then try again.
If it's all correct, perhaps there's something else in your logs.
Use the Console app (in your Applications/Utilities folder).
When it starts, click +Show Log List+ in the toolbar, then navigate in the sidebar that opens up to your system.log and select it. Navigate to the +Starting standard backup+ message that you noted above, then see what follows that might indicate some sort of error, failure, termination, exit, etc. (many of the messages there are info for developers, etc.). If in doubt post (a reasonable amount of) the log here.
