Acess Denied and No Admin tools and account

In have somehow changed the security settings for users in network. I cant use any admin tools now it says 'access denied' and if i try logging onto my admin account it creates a temporary account.
I even tried to change the settings under security but i am not allowed to make any changes to anything, keeps saying 'access denied'.
Any solutions??
Thank you

Hi,
According to your description, the command Get-ECPVirtualDirectory returns nothing. This may be the key point that you cannot access EAC. And I also recommend you check if there is ECP virtual directory in your default web site.
And here is a similar thread you can refer to:

If you have any question, please feel free to let me know.

  • SSO between Portal Application and Portal Admin Tool

    Hi All,
We have a requirement for implementing SSO between a Portal application and
    Portal admin tool.
We are using WL Portal 8.1 SP4.
Here is the reason for this requirement -
A user logged-into Portal Application needs to login to Portal Admin tool to
do some admin activity. We want to provide a link in the portal application
using which the user can directly login to the Portal Admin tool without
having to enter the credentials again.
If someone has any info on how to implement this, can you please point me in
    the right direction.
    Thanks,
    ~Deepak

    Hi,
When creating PP you have 2 options
PP used for compiling and PP used for Building
You create PP with all the libraries into Developing/Compiling Other DCs
And another PP with all the libraries into can be packaged into other build results (SDAs).
Once you have these 2 PP in place you add the DC as used DC.
And this should resolve the issue.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers-
    Pramod

  • BI Admin Tool and XSLT transformation for XML data source - How it works ?

    Hello,
There is a possibility to import data from XML data source using BI Admin Tool.
In the import window we can point XSLT file. What is the purpose of that XSLT field?
    Why I am asking ?
I thought it is smth like XSLT processor, but simply it doesnt work.
    What I did:
    - I pointed XML data source file
    - I pointed XSLT transformation file
    - Click OK, and still get the message that the XML file structure is not supported
After that I transformed that XML file with some desktop XSLT processor using the same XSLT file, and I tried to connect that file directly using BI Admin tool. Then it works. So it means that the transformation is ok.
So basically one question comes to my mind in that situation:
What is the purpose of XSLT field in BI Admin Tool when it comes to XML data source ?
(it doesnt look like XSLT processor)
    Greetings
    /Michal

    Hi Mariano
Why you need to use XSLT for transforming XML file into ABAP table
Code is a part of some ABAP report. Looks like it is reading a file from file system and updating table after transformation
If you have requirement like you need to read XML file and then insert the data into a SAP table
    You can use
    File to RFC
File to Proxy scenario using SAP PI.
Please provide more inputs on requirement to help
    Thanks

  • 2013 SP Site Collection and Farm Admin permissions and cannot access site

I am Farm Admin and Site Collection admin on my 2013 SP server and CAN access Central Admin, but CANNOT open the site without being promted for user name and password.  When I enter the user name and password they are not accepted.
This is on my production server.  I have NO PROBLEMs with the staging server.  The 2 are set up exactly the same.
    Any suggestions?

    Discussion
Farm Administrators are not automatically able to access site collections.  They can however add themselves to the site collection administrators group.  Additional detail:
Permissions for site collection administrators - scroll down to the
SharePoint farm administrators section (midway down) and look for the
    Note.
    Resolution
Add your farm administrators account to the site collection administrators group. You can do this two ways:
Go: Central administration > Application Management > Site Collections > Change site collection administrators
Go: [your site collection] > Site Settings > Users and Permissions > Site collection administrators.

  • [Solved] Error boot after upgrading and util-linux-tools and sysvinit

    Hi all ...
This morning I did a sudo pacman -Syu to update my laptop which packs sysvinit-tools 2.88-8 and 2.22-6 util-linux packages including ...
My surprise that I take is that a few hours ago after starting my laptop again I come across a series of error messages which do not allow me log into the laptop. catches of messages are these:
    Picture 1
    Picture 2
The log of pacman to upgrade is:
    [09.24.2012 9:01] Running 'pacman-Syu'
    [09.24.2012 9:01] synchronizing package lists
[09.24.2012 9:03] starting full system upgrade

    [09.24.2012 9:22] upgraded coreutils (8.17-3 -> 8.19-1)
    [09.24.2012 9:22] upgraded libmtp (1.1.4-1 -> 1.1.5-1)

    [09.24.2012 9:22] upgraded transmission-gtk (2.61-3 -> 2.61-4)
    [09.24.2012 9:22] upgraded whois (5.0.18-1 -> 5.0.19-1)
In making this latest update pacman eject told me that was going to be replaced by util-linux ... before answering affirmatively check the official website of ArchLinux to see if there were any announcement about this change ... I assumed there was none like it was nothing critical and permitted the installation of this patch ....
At the end of the error message you see in the pictures I show that I can run a command or shortcut systemctl keyboard to enter the "default mode" but I have no way to give commands and keyboard shortcut does not work.
No I could do to recover the system (other than reinstalling ArchLinux with new. Iso) ...
Someone has spent the same??? found a solution???
    Greetings and thanks in advance!
    Sorry my bad English!

  • Open and connect in OBI 11.1.1.5 admin tool fowwoling OBE Upgrade

I installed OBI11.1.1.5 on Redhat 5.2 and the admin tool on a windows. In this two machine I have OBI 10 server and admin tool installed as well. The OBI 11 components are all up running as I can access them such as EM and represention service.
Following OBEhttp://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/fmw/bi/bi11115/upgrade/upgrade_to_11g.htm?print=preview#t3 .I upgraded our 10g rpd and catalog and see the repository saved in instance_home, and verified that the default is RPD sh20110903_BI002.
Next step in the OBE, I verify Reposiotory Metadata. I launched the admin tool, opened inline. In the generated dialog box, I entered the password in defined in the update script as Repository Password, and used weblogic login in User/Password. All other fields are blank. That is all I can do in the dialog box, but the Open buttone is always grey. I think at least one available repository should be listed in the list box at the bottom, but it was empty.
Then I tried to create a new repository. In step 2 Select Data Source, I choose ODBC 3.5 and use a valid system DSN, but got Error : The connection has failed.
I tried also use Connection Type OCI 10g/11g. IN the Data Source Name I used a valid netservice name defined in a Oracle client's Oracle_HOME. But still got Error : The connection has failed.
    Questions
    1) How can make the Open button active in the Open inline RPD dialog box?
    2) Why the valid System DSN failed to connect in 11g admin tool. It is OK in 10g admin tool and ODBC configure
    3) How to make Admin Too; sees the tnsnames definition. Should I copy the tnsnames.ora file to somewhere under Admin Tool installation directory?
    Many thanks.

Thanks. The post appares make sense. I opened my user.sh file and has 2 questions:
    1) There are 32bit section and 64 bit section, and it states that 32 bit server must work with 32 bit client, so is for 64 bit. In my case, the clients are most likely 32 bit windows (browsers and admin tool), but the server is installed on Redhat 64 bit. Is this a problem? How do I know if my OBIEE iis running 64 or 32 bit?
    2) All entries in the user.sh file are commented out. Then what file is used to in the current OBI11, it is started automatically after the installation.

  • Itunes and Admin tool do not see Airport on Windows XP

I tried to make an airport express work with my IBM T42P laptop with Windows XP work.
Neither the Airport Admin utility or Itunes detect the Airport Express. The strange thing though is, that I can see it in the wireless connections. I can even connect to it and use the network, ping the airport express etc... Didn't tryout routing, but connecting to another computer on the network works fine also... But still, Airpot Admin utility and Itunes cannot see anything.
The Airport Setup Assistant lists the airport, but times-out and cannot connect to it.
Tried to connect from another laptop and everything worked fine, so I figured maybe it's a problem with the builtin wi-fi on the t42. Tried the wifi card from the working laptop on the t42 and still same problem.
The Windows XP is with SP2.
Checked Wireless Zero Configuration Service version numbers: All are 5.1.2600.2180
The firewall has port 5353 UDP open. Additionally itunes and the admin tool are added to the firewall - also tried to stop the firewall service.
From the other laptop flashed the Airport Express with firmware-upgrade and upgraded airport express software on th t42.
Tried to switch of QOS and other services in the network settings.
At some point, tried to connect through ethernet and couldn't see the Airport. Could have been a problem with the rest of the network though. Connecting through the admin tool when choosing other and providing the ip-address of the airport is possible, but doesn't help itunes...
    Nothing helped, so to summarize:
On the old T20 with Windows 2000 everything works fine.
The T42 can wifi-connect to the network, but neither itunes nor admin-utility can see the thing. The Airport Setup Assistant lists the airport, but times-out and cannot connect to it. Can't "Identify" either.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated!
    Thomas

To eliminate connectivity issues - cable the PC's ethernet port directly to the ethernet port of the Airport Express. If the Airport Admin Utility fails to list your Airport Express...
I know you said you stopped the firewall service... but the problem you are having is, in the vast majority of cases, because there is indeed still a firewall running on the PC - either the one built into Windows XP, and/or the one provided by third-party software, and/or the one installed by VPN client software.

  • Microsoft word proofing tools and privacy

    Hi,
I have a question about privacy... Just recently I was typing in a word document. And then just this morning, when I was working in another word document, a window popped up. It said something about proofing tools and "help us improve," and
it contained a snippet of something I had been typing the other day. It said it was asking for permission to send this text to Microsoft and improve the tool, and that I could delete any part of text that I didn't want to be sent. I just clicked X and exited
. I'm worried, though. I have used Word for many years and I've never seen this before.
Is this something that is supposed to happen to everyone from time to time? Or was it a virus or fake message of some kind?   Does this affect my privacy in any way? I'm just very surprised that it even contained something I had written a few days
    ago.
Sorry, I'm far from computer savvy and I'd be so glad if someone could help me answer this question and resolve my worries.

    Hi,
As per your description, I think it should be the Help Improve Proofing Tools
    feature.
The Help Improve Proofing Tools feature collects data about your use of the Proofing Tools and sends it to Microsoft, such as accepting or rejecting spelling or grammar checker suggestions, changing proofing tool settings, or additions to
    the custom dictionary.
Before any data is sent to Microsoft, a dialog box appears to ask your permission. At that time, you can delete some or all of the entries before the information is sent.
At Microsoft, we're working hard to protect your privacy, we only use this information solely to improve our products, not to identify users. If you are concerned that a report might contain personal or confidential information, do not send the report.

  • Produced DVD Exhibits Missing Music or Button Action, Even Though Check Project Tool and Play OK

Well, I have been successfully and faultlessly using Encore CS3 for several months, when all of a sudden my latest production suffers from the errors noted in the title; both Check Project Tool and "Play from Here" have always, in these problem cases, been OK. Just the discs weren't.
By the way, I am running this on a BOXX with dual Xeon 3.0, 4 gig ram, nVidia Quadro FX 1500, application on 10krpm 150 gig hd, and data on a slower 750 gig RAID 0, with everything cleaned and defragged, etc., etc. As yet, my problem is only with Encore, and not with more recently run Premiere (with Aspect HD), After Effects, Photoshop, and Ultra - nary, ever a problem with these! Also, never any problems with any DVDs, all burned 8X on a Sony writer, using DVD-R Verbatim discs. In the subject instances I assembled a disc format in Encore following my own self written 10 page procedure manual, step by step checklist, with ALL steps documented. So, I may be wrong, but I'm always consistant. And Check Project Tool, and preplay in Encore no errors, and worked perfectly, as usual.
But first burned disc played no audio on the main menu, while chapter menu music (from same source file as usual), was fine. And motion pictures in both main and chapter menus worked fine. Soooooo, complete recheck of project showed everything fine, and same Adobe checks worked fine, and another burned disc, same fault.
So, uninstalled Encore CS3, including preferences, etc., and re-installed. And brought in everything again, and reconstructed the structure from scratch again, and everything tested fine. Then I burned a test disc, 1 pass low rate Adobe Media Encoder converting from 1080i .avi to 480i, and the disc played perfectly! BUT THEN........ I reincoded at vbr 2pass, high quality, and burned twenty discs at 480p. And everything plays fine, EXCEPT, on all four of my test DVD players, the "timeline" plays fine, video and audio, the main menu pictures and music and "Play Movie" and "Chapter Selections" buttons all work, but although the Chapter Sub-menu pictures and music are as intended, the "Chapter 1" button is highlighted, as intended, but you can't move from there to the other chapters button or the button to return to the main menu.
And again, these all worked fine when the Check Project Tool was utilized just prior to setting up the DVD files and burning - and no, I touched NOTHING else in the meantime.
So, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
And I would certainly appreciate insights from anyone about what the matter might be (besides Microsoft), so long as the insights are thought provoking, whether they are valid or not.
But seriously, this has me stumped. And I really will NEVER, ever burn and print (full color!) 20 discs again without fully testing the first one burned and then never change anything in Encore.

Harm - thanks for the suggestion!
Given what I now know about transcoding and interlace effects, 480i insead of 480p is totally unacceptable to me, for excellent reasons explained in a moment. If Encore only works correctly with 480i (anyone have any thoughts as to why that might be true?) then its time for me to drop Encore and move on to another DVD assembler. I'd not care to do this, as I finally have all study of Encore and my related procedures manual put together, and I would certainly miss some of the fine and relatively easy features of Encore, to say nothing of the use of PixelPops panels in Encore. One other point. I badly mis-spoke myself in the original post, and I apologize for that. I should have said that Adobe Media Encoder was being used within Encore to encode from 1080p, not 1080i. More about all that in a moment.
So, I now have a further question, if I cannot get a work around for this. Anyone have any thoughts on an alternate DVD assembler with a decent transcoder, for $1,000 or less? No matter what, I intend to continue to use other Adobe products.
Now, as to why 480p! And I may just run an informational post about this sometime. Several weeks ago I had finally decided that what I had been putting together as 480i was just totally unacceptable because of the deinterlacing artifacts shown when run through the standard DVD player and typical LCD screen. The noise, particularly the misquito noise, the twitter, etc. was just too much. So I set aside three days, and all I did was run tests of various sequences of transcoding 1080i to 480 whatever. And of all the permutations and combinations, the clearly superior result was the following. As our friends at Cineform have so rightly commented, going from 1080 to 480 gives us all kinds of headroom to work with. So my current procedure is to first take the Cineform "visually perfect" 1080i .avi files and using the Cineform transcoder, convert them to 1080p.avi. Then, as noted above, I use the Adobe Media Encoder to go from 1080p to 480p. Now that picture, I am really happy with! And by the way, what is produced by using the Adobe Media Encoder to transcode directly from 1080i to 480p is truly grotesque - the horizontal distortion is so horrible it has to be seen to be believed! Other variations produced from good to marginal results. The closest acceptable was using Cineform to go from 1080i to 1080p and then to 480i, and then using AME to go from 480i to 480p DVD.
By the way, the final, best otherwise encoded 480i result showed up only marginally better than what I am doing now, when shown on a 109 inch screen using that great chip in the latest Toshiba HD-DVD player for the deinterlacing function. But when the same disc was played on your typical consumer DVD player and flat panel screen, the result was marginal. I have read many places that we are better off letting the consumer players or screens conduct the deinterlacing of our 480i productions, instead of producing 480p discs ourselves. Given the transcoders I currently have to work with, I would say that is just nonsense. If all the consumers had players with great deinterlacers that would be true. But it isn't true!

  • Need Toshiba tools and utilities for my Satellite A660-149

    Hi friends
I have formatted my Toshiba Satellite A660-149 and I didnt create recovery CD/DVD.
I have installed Windows 7 but now thing is that I dont have any of Toshiba features like eco utility, HDD protection, face recognition, NVIDIA graphic controller.
Please suggest me what should I do now....& where I can get this software.

    Hi friend ;)
All necessary drivers and Toshiba specific tools and utilities you can find on Toshiba support page under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > Support & Downloads Support homepage.
At the bottom of this page you will see option Driver download.
Go there, choose your notebook model and you will find all you need.
Of course, there you will find stuff for supported OS version only.
    Good luck

  • Inability to reach the Admin Tool

I installed the MX 7 as an upgrade to 6. It appears that the
software installed correctly, then it stated that "you must now
configure it from the administrator tool"; however, I log-in to the
admin tool, and it attempts to go through 5 steps (Configure
Server, Migration, Export Settings, Import Settings, Finish) it
seems to get hung-up on the Import Settings step as it goes to a
new screen filled with what appears as errors - referencing java? I
cannot get to the true Administration tool - it just keeps going to
this error-like page (see error message in the attached code). Any
ideas - Also, I have Java 6 (1.6.0) installed on my Win 2003
    server.
    Any help is appreciated!
