ICloud webmail problem.

Hello,
Having some trouble staying logged into iCloud webmail as of 3:30pm ET Tuesday 06/17/14.
Every time I sign in it signs me out only seconds after logging on. This is happening on my 2013 iMac 27. I'm logging in through my Chrome browser.
Anyone have an idea what the problem could be? Also, on a sidenote my Mail app will not connect my iCloud account. That's actually been since 05/27/14. I haven't changed a thing on my end - password, account settings etc.

Try using Safari and see if you can stay logged in.
Most likely you need to re-enter your passwords in Mail.
In Mail, under Window in the Menu bar select Connection Doctor. Do you see a green or red light by iCloud?
A red light indicates you need to check your settings.
If your password is missing, you need to add.
Under the advanced tab make sure Apple Token is selected.
Click out of the account to save.
Check Connection Doctor to see if you have the green light now.
If no, I would remove the account and Apple setup the account again.
Run Keychain First Aid
Open Keychain Access, located in Applications/Utilities
Choose Keychain Access > Keychain First Aid.
Enter your user name and password.
Select Repair and click Start.
If any problems are found run again to verify all repaired.

Invisible text in Google Chromes Icloud Webmail

Suddenly I can ONLY see the text in some of my emails in my Iphones icloud-mail or if I use Explorer (webmail).
If I check it out on Iclouds WEBMAIL (Chrome) the message looks empty/blank?
Only from certain users though (to make it more complicated).
Started last week, and it doesnt matter which computer I use, (I've tried it on pc:s with different operating systems, bit not on a mac:s webmail, so far) but seems to work in other webreaders (explorer) but not google chrome and Firefox.
It's kind of strange.
I like Chrome otherwise, so what do I do?

Before even reading this forum I did everything that appears here with no success and then everything listed in the referenced forum (above) with no success... but the following did fix the invisible text problem and I hope that it will help others too.
1. Drag the Font folder from the User directory to the trash ie. ~/Library/Fonts. (where ~ is = your User Account Name.)
Be careful; this is NOT the Font folder in the main library.
2. Download Font Finagler v1.5 beta for Mac OS 6, and clean the font cashe files following the instructions for this free shareware app.

3. Open the Font Book app which is a new app that is included with the Mac OS Snow Leopard (10.6). (Font Book is in the Applications folder.) Read the Help info for this app and then: Choose "All Fonts" in the left column and then choose "Select Duplicate Fonts" from the Edit menu. Disable or delete all duplicate fonts that this process identifies. After dealing with the duplicate fonts, select "All Fonts" again in the left column and choose "Validate Fonts" from the File Menu. Deal with the results that it will display using the help file for guidance. Interestingly, in my case there were no corrupt fonts in my Mac system, but the validation process identified more duplicate fonts that the previous step did not find. Again deal with the findings and disable or delete the duplicate fonts.
4. Reboot your Mac and get on with using your Flash enabled web pages. Duplicate fonts seems to be the problem that cause invisible text in Flash enabled web pages.

The time indicated in the inbox of the icloud webmail is wrong even though the setting of my time zone is correct. It seems like the server's time is wrong. Any ideas or suggestions?
The time on all the mac devices, using the mail application is correct.

anyone else having trouble attaching file in icloud webmail using firefox or internet explorer from windows or mac. i was able to get it to work from safari on a mac, so i guess it must be a browser thing, only enabled or working in safari?

I had the same problem since last Thursday. I have tried and re-tried all of the settings suggested by the support posts but I can not get email to go out of me Outbox.

Can't access iCloud webmail.

I'm completely stumped. I recently upgraded to iCloud from MobileMe, and everything was working fine. It did everything it was supposed to do.
Now a couple of weeks later when I try to log into the iCloud webmail, the login window just shakes when I enter my login and password. I haven't changed my password, but I figured I'd try the "forgot password" thingy anyway. I go to the "Manage your Apple ID page" and enter my info, what do I get? "Internal fatal error". What's going on?? Anybody else have this problem.
So, in the meantime, everything is working fine on my iPhone AND in the Mail app. I can send and recieve mail, etc. My iCal gets updated, and so does Contacts. My iCloud system preferences doesn't report any problem. So clearly the password hasn't change. But still the webmail won't let me log in...
Is the iCloud webmail server down?

I agree. MobileMe was fine for me. iCloud to date is a confusing mess and I'm not seeing the value yet myself. None of my friends have updated yet-- they are waiting to see how bad it is for me first (I have smart friends...)! Maybe if I can stream iTunes songs over the cloud to my work I would be a bit happier about "the cloud".

ICloud WebMail Spinning Progress Never Ends

I've given iCloud a month to work out these issues and unfortunately they have just not gone away.
iCloud webmail is awful. All I get are spinning progress bars, poorly timed refreshes of the interface, very slow performance, no progress, sometimes it won't ever log in. Trying to do a search almost always leads to a neverending spinning progress bar.
What is going on? I have been a iTools, .Mac, mobileMe, and now iCloud user since the product's inception and it has had its ups and downs for sure, but this is the worst I have ever seen the webmail interface and performance. It's unacceptable for an email address that I depend on.
The other problem that hasn't gone away is that iCloud simply will not push email to my iPhone.

Agreed. Also a user since the inception of iTools. This is worse than the .Mac-to-MobileMe transition. Not to mention the fact that my iPhone won't reload iCloud email unless I open the app. What a mess.

If both files are held locally on the computer it looks like there is no problem however if you try and do it though icloud (ie your docs are saved on icloud) you dont get the "source" oprion besides the graph etc. Is this a but or a broken function due to the new implementation of icloud.

Really is not icloud that opens. It`s a message that says that icloud has problems to open with one specific account. This happens since I did the last actualization of the operator system open

You don't need to start a new thread - you just use the 'Reply' button at bottom right of the answering post. Anyway as you're here...
You should start by going to System Preferences (or is it called Settings in ML?)>iCloud and clicking the Sign Out button. Then sign back in again. Your iCloud data will disappear from your Mac when you do this (but not from the server) - it will reappear when you sign back in. Alternatively if the message identifies an account which is signed in at System Preferences>Mail, Contacts and Calendars you should log out and in there.

Icloud registration problems

I have recently brought a 4s and an ipad and i am trying to set up icloud. the problems come when i go to set it up. both the ipad and phone tell me that icloud requires an apple id that is an e mail address. therefore i have been to manage my apple id's on the laptop. however it will not let me use my email address as it says it is already in use, however i only have this e mail address as my primary e mail address on the apple account. Sadly i have had the same apple id and the same e mail address as the primary e mail from 2004. i just want to get it so that in the future i can use my phone and pad to its full potential which icloud will allow but i have hit a brick wall when it comes to this issue. Any help would be great

I logged into icloud and mistakenly unchecked the key chain box. Then tried to recheck it ended up with enter your apple password, then your security code and then the third one is a verification code sent to your phone number and thats the problem - have no idea what that code is or how to retrive it.

Transfer MobileMe to iCloud - email problem

I transferred from MobileMe to iCloud yesterday
I am using the same .mac address but have changed my AppleID to this as suggested
I now see an iCloud account on all my devices (iMac, iPhone and iPad2)
I receive emails but the inbox only holds one or two messages and then seems to shift them direct to Archive
I can't read archive file on the regular Mail programme - only by going to iCloud.com.
I have not instituted any rules on iCloud but it seems to be behaving as if I have?
Any ideas??

Same bloody thing here. I've gotten several different errors. iCal invites won't sync from mail to my calendar. My password hasn't changed, I've logged onto iCloud, no problem. Why did't Apple just create a .cloud email addy? On top of this, since Lion, I've seen more spinning coloured wheels and just frozen apps than I care to see. I'm thinking all of this was shoved out the door before it was ready. I regret the upgrade and am seriously thinking of a reinstall to SL. Starting to think I am dealing with Windows. Since the update to the ios, I've lost a chunk of my email. I'm sick of these issues. Please give me software that will allow my Mac Pro and super HS connection work for me. Gawd.

Sounds like one unit had iOS 5, the other had iOS 4. Unfortunately it happens that some units are shipped from the factory at different times with different Operatin Systems installed.

There are other browers available in the app store, I've heard that some of them can access icloud.com. I don't know which ones.
Also, can't you just add your account in mail? You can always delete it when home - it won't mess things up for her. ... unless there are "security" issues involved.

ICloud webmail - can I improve it?

I upgraded to iCloud as soon as it became available in the UK last year. So far, it's been a bit up and down. I really, really want to like it! I love using Apple Mail on my Mac, it's such a nice program, and my '@me.com' address is much shorter and nicer than my old Gmail address. iCloud.com looks much cooler than Gmail.com too.
However there are several things that are persisting to bug me, and preventing me from completely switching over from Gmail. I was willing to give Apple a few months to smooth out the problems, but nothing seems to be improving.
These is one of the main problems. Any help appreciated!
Email not pushing to webmail
This is the most annoying. When I log onto icloud.com (which I have to do all day, every day at work), emails do not appear quickly, if at all. For example, I'll get an email, and my iPhone will buzz straight away to alert me. Great, but I'd rather read the mail on my Mac. So I open up icloud.com in Safari or Chrome, and the mail isn't there.
Originally there was a little 'refresh' arrow (like Gmail have), so I'd click that, and the email would appear. Now Apple seem to have got rid of the refresh arrow. So I have to actually refresh the whole web page, which is insanely annoying and slow. Or alternatively, I have to click into another folder, eg Drafts, then back to Inbox, and then the mail will show up. This is really, really poor for a web-based email service! Email should appear in real time!
Can I do anything to improve it? Thanks for any help!

I have the same problem. Have you heard any solutions to the problem from any other threads you may have posted? I'm on a PC and even went so far as to install Safari on my PC to see if that would resolve the problem, to no avail.

IWork documents don't move to iCloud/syncing problem

I was creating the document in Numbers and wanted to share it. After I tried to share (iCloud link), it gaves me a message: This spreadsheet is still being moved to iCloud. Wait for the move to complete, then try sharing again... Then I checked my other docs and it hasn't been syncing the documents for last 3-4 days. It seems, that something happened last update 10.9.2... I remember having the same problem after installing Mavericks for a first time. Then I foun solution in internet... I had to delete some file in Library/ ... but I can't remember it anymore and I cant find the asnwer anymore...please ... help...

Several users have found that going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings fixes this issue.
