Hi,
In a Oracle AS 10G (9.0.4), I need to know how we can find the informations for the number of times a particular link (for eg: https://company/screen/menu) is accessed in a year. Is there any log that stores these informations. Please let me know.

Please read on anonymous access for portal. It has been discussed a lot on these forums and should be trivial to implement. You need to enable the anonymous access for the portal component you are talking about.

Can you explain the problem in more detail - "not allowing me to access" isn't clear to me. If you get any errors, please give the full wording. If you just don't seem to have any useful functions under TOOLS, make sure you are NOT still running Adobe Reader.

Acessing a SAP Transaction Code through WebDynpro Link

Hi Developers,
I need to call a SAP Transaction from a link and how would I go about it.I Have created a WebDynpro Link to Action in Layout of WebDyn and now I need to write the code for acessing a transaction.
It is similar to a SAP Transactional Iview but it will be a link.Can anyone help me in this issue.

Well, you can create SAP transaction iView for t.code 'SE38'.
You can configure value
for 'application parameter' property as 'RS38M-PROGRAMM=<PROG_NAME>'
for 'Parameters to Pass from Page Request' as 'PROG_NAME'
Add this iView to the page, get url of the page.
In webdynpro application, append '?PROG_NAME=<program name>' to this url dynamically when you click on the tree node (where you replace <program name> with actual program name>) ..

When I click send link my yahoo programme will not let me acess yahoomail

when I click send link my btinternet mail facility no longer works and just keeps asking for my password. when I give it it has no email pop up to send link and this process is just endless. I have had to use the computer default now but I would like to use my own email. I have checked yahoo is the default mail in firefox. BT cannot solve this problem and say it is due to firefox

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Database Link Creation and Acessing

i want to talk between two oracle server. i decided to go for snapshot creation with periodical refresh. For which i am having two oracle server's with different ip address located inside our office setup.
I have created a database link between two servers.
first server name global
userid scott
password tiger
second server name asil
userid scott
password tiger
both the user have been given dba rights.
in both the server the services and listners are all started. i gave the following command to create database link.
from asil server
create public database link global connect by scott identified by tiger using 'global'
the command was successful and the link was created. Now i tried to access a table of the scott user of the global server.
select * from emp@global;
now it is giving error. I want to know how the link can be created and how it can be accessed. i refered the 8i online documentation and done the things based on that. i expect valuble solution from all possible persons

Providing acess to a content within a DVD link

Hello,
I was wondering if it is possible to have a link directly to a Director Mac Projector and/or Director PC .exe projector from within a DVD?
That option is greyed out when I try to choose that item when choosing the location upon checking the Content area within the DVD-ROM area and was not working after performing a test build.
I'm able to add links to PDFs but am not sure if DSP 4 only allows links to files and not self-contained application.
Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

I was able to link to an application as long as it was located on the DVD. I added the TextEdit application to my ROM contents and linked my DVD@ccess to the file TextEdit.app, it launched fine in the simulator, but I didn't try a test disc.

we plan to implement invoice verification workflow to start when an invoice is scanned and placed in holder in OAWD. So that workflow will start from then onwards with SAP archive link.

The process we want to follow is
1. Scan document and place in OAWD
2 Workflow is started based on the document type of Archive link( we want to use BKPF)
3 AP clerk receives workitem and execute it. APclerk see the transaction code FV60 to enter document and image of the scan automatically
4 AP clerk fill the document and park the document.
5 Workitem is sent to approver based on the rule specified
6 Approver execute the transaction invoice iamge is opened and sap document is displayed.
7 Approver check both image and sap docuemnt and take decision
8 Approver approves document , sap document is posted and ready for payment
9 If rejected go back to AP clerk.
Here issue is when user or approver execute the workitem ,how we can open image automatically along with sap screen.
or how we can acess GOS to pop up automatically to user from workflow is our another isssue

It is possible to launch the stored image as soon as workitem is executed. You will need to maintain the archivelink customization to display stored document. Check the following link

How to link Excel file to Access

Hello,
I created a barcode database using excel and labview. Now i want this data to be in access as a database and continuosly update it.
I have a doubt also as i have created excel sheet of various product barcode and there is always a new sheet that is saved when ever working( this is a requirement) so how can i link all the file and creat one access database.

sorry for the confusion.
i want labview to link my excel and acess, so that a database is created.
second thing is i am having verious barcode data like for eg. for product X i have a particular barcode and for product Y another so my software create a new excel file whenever we change a product or a particular quantity of any product is filled. Now the question is if everytime i creat a new excel how do i creat a single database by linking all files using labview.

Went on the internet on Friday but a box appeared saying firefox could not verify web page and somebody could be trying to impersinate the web page this was my home page it gave me two options the first was get me out of here or that I understood the risks and to continue I clicked the latter and my home page came up this box continued to appear on each occasion I tried to acess any web pages but when I tried to acess Facebook the box only gave me the option of get me out of here it also did this when I tried to acess Mozilla Firefox to see whether there was a problem with the browser I tried to reinstall the browser but the problem persisted I finally got round the problem by reinstalling my computer to an earlier time before I did this I also have the option for Google chrome on my computer and this browser worked fine Facebook etc I prefere Firefox but although the warning box hasn't materialised since I reset my computer Firefox has become unstable where it has frozen on a web page and the only way I can get out is to start the task manager and end the programme even though the task manager is saying that the page is still working correctly but after I have ended the running of the programme it will not reload the firefox browser but again google chrome is fine I have to restart the computer to fix this problem any ideas thanks.

Photoshoponline has a link you can try which web browser are you using? If may be your browser or that they do not support your camera's raw format. I received an error tht states try layer. SAP Web Repository, how can acess it from outside

and it says this:
"You use a Web repository (manager) to provide read access to documents stored on remote Web servers."
This could be really useful to me, but how does this work? I'm able to add objects to it using the transaction SMW0 but how can I get a valid url so that the users in my network can acess these files.
the only FM I know is 'DP_PUBLISH_WWW_URL' but this generates a kind of links that my browser can't process (something like SAPR3://WebRepository/0123456789/ZMY_FILE?Version=00001")
How can I do to create valid links to these documents, so that I can open them im my web browser??

though they have the same name, they are different! The SAP library you mention is about Knowledge Management.
If you want to generate an external URL for the Web Repository (SMW0), first read Note 865853 - WebReporting/WebRFC obsolete as of NW2004s. I don't know your SAP release, but if you are on a 7.0, you need to "release for internet" WWW_GET_MIME_OBJECT function module via SMW0, and probably activate /sap/bc/webrfc service using SICF transaction. Then you'll be able to access your ZZZZZ web document using URL like this: http://youserver:port/sap/bc/webrfc/!?_function=WWW_GET_MIME_OBJECT&_object_id=ZZZZZ&client=220&language=EN
Note: DP is only for allowing the HTML browser (and other SAPGUI controls) to access objects transmitted from SAP to the SAPGUI using the Data Provider service.

Getting Portal Runtime Error while accessing one link in Portal Page.

Can anyone tell why I am getting below error while accessing one of the portal page link:
