ACH method Payment advice -- Urgent

HI all
We have set configuration settings for ACH method for bank payments to our US client.  Client wants to send Payment advice to his vendors for payment made.
I would like to know where I need to assign form and variant for payments advice so that I can also payment advice when I run F110.

    FI Gurus,
    We are implementing ACH payment method, currently everythign seems to be fine, we are able to e-mail and fax payment advices thru BTE 000002040. I am trying to also be able to print payment advices but  can't figure it out. Can anyone tell me what exactly I have to do in order to be able to print payment advices for ACH?
    Also,
    How can you e-mail to multiple e-mails and fax to teh same vendor? I have entered various e-mails in teh master data, but I only get the first e-mail entered, and don't get fax either, I only get 1 option, either e-mail or fax.

    Thanks for the feedback... We were able to figure out how to email to multiple email addresses.  Let me know if you need this information.  What we are facing now is an issue where the user exit we created has created an either or situation... 
    See below the text of the message logged with SAP, maybe you can offer a suggestion:
    During payment processing SAP processes each payment advice note once.
    Each time by default it is set to print the payment advice note to
    printer. Client had a requirement that they want to be able to email
    the payment advice note to vendors directly. We implemented a user
    exit and in that user exit we can only change how we deliver payment
    advice note (i.e. print or email or fax). In the user exit we
    developed we are changing this delivery method to email when there is a
    email address in vendor account. This user exit is called every time
    we print payment advice notes. We need a way to change the logic to
    allow email and print not just either or. To be able to print AND
    email we have to trick the system so that it processes the entire
    payment advice output again then we have to somehow surpass the user
    exit so that it does not change the delivery method and thus prints the
    payment advice note rather than emailing it. Thatu2019s where the
    complexity comes in. this is a payment run program so there are very
    few user exit available and the ones that are there are not useful for
    what we want to do.

  • Payment advice required on ACH file to bank

    Hi Folks,
    My client have a requirement to add payment advice to ACH payment file to bank. I'm generating the DME file (ACH payments ) correctly and are able to print payment advices. I want the payment advice to be added to the DME file; When, I unchecked the
    the print control for printing payment advices, the payment advices are not added to the ACH or DME file.
    If I check the flag "individual payment" on vendor master ( means separate payment for each invoice), then the payment advices are added as a separate record on the payment file. However, we don't want individual payment for each invoice in the case of multiple invoices to the same vendor.
    Does any anyone have any idea how to fix this? I search for an OSS note but didn't find any.

    Hi Tony
    Acc to my knowledge, usually we would maintain an advice note against an invoice like a reference. So Std SAP might not able to pick that adivce for multiple invoices. Which might be correct.
    I would suggest you take the help of an ABAPer to see from where it picks up the data during the individual payment and if that same field is getting  populated during the multiple (which might not be happening).
    Please, correct me if my understanding of the process is wrong.

    All this is done in a single screen transaction code FBZP.
    Where to assign the payment advice form in customisation for payment method T
    This is in Payment methods in Company codeSelect your payment method-Expand form data and assign the paymnet advice form.
    which program has to be assigned to the payment advice form.
    FPAYM_INT_DMEE(For DMEE)./ in the next form you may have F110_IN_AVIS.

    I have an very urgent problem which needed to be solved immidiatly,  I need to prepare a payment advice form as per the requirement of the client,  The problem is, I unble to test the developed form at APP run,    I want know where or How I can see the preview or print of the payment advice  so that I can test it and send to client immidiatly,  client is asking as very urgent,  as the project is already on LIVE,

    HI,
    I have configured the payment advice and assigned the variant to run upon the payment program to print the payment advice. but the log of the payment shows me the "payment medium created in the format"
    Abap/4 processor error: "Call_function_parm_missing"
    I think  am missing some configuration. Can any body provide me how to check the configuratio and what is the necessary configuration to be done for payment advice print and we are not using the check print option.
    "Requirement is when the payment run is done it should print the payment advice also"

  • Payment advice form for each payment method

    Hi,
    We have Check, RTGS and Bank Transfer payment methods in single company code, I have assigned different payment programs in OBVCU for payment methods C,R & T and seperate payment advice form to each payment methods in OBVU, and also I have maintained the varaints in F110 under printout tab, but still system by defualt picking the payment advice form of Check only, it is not considering payment advice forms per payment methods when i run print job.
    Does the by default picks the payment advice form per company code?
    It should be  possible to print the payment advice per payment method in single company code.
    Can someone help to achieve this....

The idea is use the report RFFO* . Run it with SE38 and read the documentation (info icon). Set the flag for advices and run it.

  • Payment advice - different forms according to payment method

    Hi,
    Would someone know if it's possible to have different payment advice according to the payment method?
    It seems that the payment advice is country dependent and has no link with the payment method.
    If I try to add a form in "next form" and I suppress the "form for the advice payment", I do not succeed in printing the form anymore.
    Does someone have any idea?

    Payment Program is normally configured for the combination of Payment Country and Payment Method.
    Payment Advise Note is configured for the combination of Company Code and Payment Method.
    So, you can have multiple Layouts for Paymeny Advices for different Payment Methods within the same Company Code.

    Hi,
    I am looking for SAP standard program from Canada  ACH/EFT payment method, for "CPA 1464"  format.
    I already looked into 'RFFOCA_T' but the output file format is different than
    the "CPA 1464"  format.
    Also looked into the DME tree, but looks like it has Canada '005' format.
    Any ideas ?

    Hi All
    I would like to use the option  ''Payment adv after lines' in the Payment advice output according to no. of lines. currently we have 'Always pyt adv' active  -- In FBZP - Payment methods for Co code
    But I see that the first radio button is disabled. Can anyone let me know how to select this option.

    Hello,
    The radio button "Payment adv. after..... lines" is used for "Indicator that determines that a payment advice note is to be printed if more items are paid than there is space fo in the form"
    To activate this one, you need to select "restricted to" radio button with number of ROWS you are allowed in "Note to payee lines on the form" area. Then the "Payment adv. after.... lines" get activate and accordingly you can select.

    Hi,
    The TX.code to generate payment advice manually is FBE1.
    In the payment advice you can assign the documents and the payment amount. System would generate a payment advice number once saved.There will be no accounting effect at this stage.
    During payment( F-53) you can pay and clear open items w.ref.to the payment advice.
    Vendor Dr
    Bank Cr
    You can also assign payment advice directly in F-53 ( edit> generate payment advice)

  • PMW/ACH Vendor Payments - Batch Header Record (5) not in file

    We're trying to get PMW/ACH vendor payments up and running, and thought we were about ready to send a test file to the bank, but I've discovered we have no batch header (record type 5) in the file?
    We're configured to use the PMW.  I have checked and rechecked our configuration, but must be missing something?  We have payment methods and banks configured.  Variants defined and bank/master data set up on a few vendors for testing. Everything else seems to be working fine. A small test via F110 selects these vendors into the file for payment, prints advices, and posts FI documents in SAP properly. I have record types 1, 6, 8, and 9 in the file...but no 5 (Batch Header).
    Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Record 5 is defined by the Format Supplement in FBZP, Payment method/country. Here you will find 3 supplements CTX, CCD and PPD.

  • Sending Payment Advices Via E-mail or Fax

    SAP Gururs,
    We recently implemented ACH payment method, we are sending ACH payment advices via e-mail or fax. However the need to maintain various e-mails or a combination of e-mail and fax is necessary.
    Example #1
    I have 2 e-mail address one for our purchase department and the other for the vendor I only want the vendor to receive payment advices, the other e-mail is use to send other information to vendor. How do I control this type of scenario.
    Example #2,
    I have a fax number and E-mail, but vendor wants payment advice to be send via fax and not e-mail. I did this testing by selecting the "Do Use Communication for e-mail" but I still got an e-mail and not a fax.
    Example # 3,
    I have various fax numbers 1 use for payment advices, the other to send other information to other users to the vendor such as matrixes, price disputes etc. how can I control this.
    Does any one has any additional information on these topics I will truly appreciate.

    Go to transaction code FIBF
    Settings ==> Process Modules ==> ... of an SAP Application
    Process: 00002040
    Ctr: Blank
    Appl.: FI-FI
    Function Module: SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040
    You can copy the function module to "Z" function module and modify it accordingly. Then you can use your customized FM here.
    This triggers an email of payment advice, provided if you have maintained Email Address in the Vendor Master "Address" Tab and the Standard Communication Method is "INT - Email"
    You can see the email that is being triggered / delivered in transaction code SOST.
    To deliver the emails settings in SCOT are being completed by Basis consultants and the gateways must have been opened. Except production environment, normally the gateways are closed in development or QA environment in order to avoid sending wrong payment advices outside.
