Ack! I saved changes in a sub-vi! Now it doesn't work

I don't know how I managed to do this... I got click-happy I guess.
I changed the "Open/Create/Replace File" while trying to get it to work a little differently... then when I closed it I accidentally saved it (trigger finger was a little shaky dismorning)... tried restarting Labview and I think I may have really burned it into memory.
Is there anyway to revert back? Does anyone have a copy I can replace the bad-file with? I am using LV 7.0

The "Open/Create/Replace File" is just a VI that comes with LabVIEW. So when you saved it, it overwrites the original version on your hrad drive, so it's gone.
Since I'm not sure how NI would feel if I posted one of their VIs here, try dropping your LabVIEW CD in, and select Repair when the choice comes up. I think that will reinstall everything for you.

I've changed my ID mail and now iCloud doesn't work. Everything is working, even if I access to iCloud from Safari (with my new ID) but i have the problem on my iPhone and iPad.
It keeps asking my password and the mail is the one i had before, it's like it didn't change. I've tried both passwords, old and new and no solution. I've changed twice the password thinking it would be the problem and still isn't working.
So now I can't do anything because there's no password to access so i can't even delete my iCloud account.
Is there anything i can do to make it work? It's weird that everything works except this.

Alright, please follow these steps in order to get it working properly again.
Please change your Apple ID back to your old email address (that you used as Apple ID before) here: http://appleid.apple.com
Then go to all your devices - iPhones, iPads, Mac etc. - ("Settings > iCloud") and delete your iCloud account from this devices (+ turn off Find My iPhone, but I guess it will ask you that anyway)
After that go back to http://appleid.apple.com sign in again, and now change your Apple ID again to your new email address.
Finally, set up your iCloud account on all your devices again.
Now, everything should working properly again.

Changed the Shared Secret, and now VPN doesn't work...

Hello all. So our VPN was working fine. I changed the Shared Secret, and it stopped working. Seems like any Shared Secret now that I use doesn't work, and I've been triple-checking it on both the server and clients to make certain that it's not miss-typed.
It seems to connect OK, but then it fails to authorize. I've got the proper ports open, and again, it worked just fine with the first Shared Secret I used.
Is there something I'm missing about Shared Secrets here? You should be able to change them when you need too, right?

Looking at the logs I'm seeing something strange that I don't understand. It appears that one part of the authorization is succeeding, and another part failing:
"DSAuth plugin: Could not authenticate key agent for encryption key retrieval."
Then, two lines later:
"CHAP peer authentication succeeded for USER"
"DSAccessControl plugin: User 'USER' authorized for access"
But then the client never shows that it's authorized. So is this a problem with the client configuration, since the server is showing an authorized session starting, or is there something wrong with the DSAuth Plugin?

I recently changed my apple ID password, I have resigned into my account on my iPhone and Macbook, but it still says its "inactive", what's the problem? There's no problems when resigning in, when i'm on my Macbook Pro on iMessages, i go on accounts, "Enable this account" and the tick box is in grey so unclickable, and there is the apple loading circle thing next to it. It's been like this for 2 days now...

It sounds like you were using your Wi-Fi network from your Airport base station and the connection cut out. You have reset the password on the device but the issue persists. I would try the 3 resets outlined in the following article in order to help resolve the issue. If it persists, is the Wi-Fi connection issue happening on more than one device or computer?

What was this program for, or did you just assume it's something you shouldn't have and therefore arbitrarily decide to "throw it away"? Exactly how did you supposedly throw it away?
If you didn't change your administrator password, there's no reason it shouldn't work now, so that suggests you did something else, or changed it and then forgot what it was.
You can't recover that password; you can only change it. To do that, you would need to boot from your Snow Leopard DVD, choose your language, then choose Reset Password from the Utilities menu in the top menu bar.

Usually when someone mentions "passowrd" in a posting it will not be related to an Adobe product but to the machine that you are trying to implement some installation or update for. If you explain more about what you are trying to do and describe what you encounter it might be easier to determine what you are dealing with... include a screenshot to help explain as well if you can.

This is a step up from the previous suggestion.
Make the Finder the "front" app.
Use the Go Menu whilst holding down the ALT key.
Select the Library that appears in the Menu list.
Navigate to Preferences.
Find com.apple.imservice.imesssages.plist and drag it to the Trash.
Restart the app.
You will most likely have to re-enter the Apple ID
If that does not work delete the com.apple.imessages.bag.plist (this one holds the server it should be trying rather).
Again Restart the app.

- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.
If you can't log into Settings>iTunes and App stores with your new ID them mean there is a problem. Try restting the password and try to sign in again.

Change user's OU with punctuation mark doesn't work by Rename User View

I have problem with moving user between OU by Rename User View when punctuation mark in name of OU is used.
I have own WF that assign user to specific OU depending on value of Select component. When value of this component is changed (against previous value) I call Rename View, that assign user to new OU. For OU without punctuation mark Rename View works OK.
After finishing WF with punctuation mark in OU this Error appers:
java.lang.RuntimeException: There is no such object on the server.
But creating new AD account (by role assignment) in OU with punctuation work OK. In select component is rule that replace puctional character in correct form.

Hi,
I discovered following:
- if name of OU in AD is without space (e.g. test,sample) so DN record is test\,sample and user is moved into this OU.
- if name of OU in AD is with space (e.g. test, sample) so DN record is still test\,sample and user isn't moved.
So problem is with empty space. How can I preserve space in DN name? I found something in documentation but I doesn't work for me.

If you have a field value with a comma (,) or double quote (") character, or you want to preserve leading or trailing spaces, you must embed your field value within a pair of double quotes ("field_value"). You then need to replace double quotes in the field value with two double quote (") characters. For example, "John ""Johnny"" Smith" results in a field value of John "Johnny" Smith. +

How do you save data into an excel file while myRIO is acquiring data? I tried saving it using "Write to file" but it doesn't work for some reason.

I am acquiring cosine wave and a pulse wave as input and I want to store their peak to peak values into an excel file. "Write to File" is not working for it. Is there any other vi which can be used for data logging?

Can you provide more detail when you say that the Write to File VI doesn't work? Is there an error given? Or can you just not find the file on your computer? Keep in mind using this file in a Real-Time VI on the myRIO will save files on the myRIO. You will then have to transfer to your PC. Sometimes a restart can fix this issue, but sometimes you have to fix the iTunes Library.itl file.
Try quitting iTunes, renaming the itunes file "iTunes Library.itl" to "iTunes Library Old.itl"
then open itunes again
This should generate a new library file.
From this point you can try two different avenues.
1. Re-add everything to your library by going to the iTunes file menu, and selecting "add to library"
2. You can try deleting the iTunes Library.itl you created, changing the name of the old file back to iTunes Library.itl
I hope this helps. I did something like this a while back and it worked for me.

ICloud ask you to change password you do it and it doesn't work!!!

Log into iCloud on my Mac book it asks me to change password. i change it and save it. and it still doesn't work. Neither does it work on my iPhone. ow my iMessages or mail works.
Maybe its time for a change of brand !!!

Logged into iCloud via my mac book pro. it asked me to change my password. A added a sign a sign from previous password. I have subsequently tired in vain to reset password via alternative email account but noting is working.
