Acknowledge message keeps appearing
I am using Forms 9.0.4.0.19 on WinXP against DB 9.2.0.7
I created a very simple form with one push button item. I added a when-button-pressed trigger which does the following (nothing !)
DELCARE
BEGIN
NULL;
END;
So on pressing the button I would expect nothing to happen at all. However, on pressing the button I get the Forms popup "Please acknowledge the message".
There is no message in the popup box or on the status line. Even if I add some meaningful code to this trigger I still keep getting the popup box.
I created a simple form to test this as I am having the same issues with Forms applications that I moved from 6i and not just on pressing buttons but on startup, executing queries, in fact all over the place I keep getting this "acknowledge messge" popup but with no corresponding message or error of any sort. After acknowledging the process continues as expected.
Has anyone had this problem before ? If I try to set a breakpoint to debug this in the when-button-pressed trigger, the popup appears before the breakpoint is reached.
Any help much appreciated
Shaq
Very simple, in Edit>Preferences>runtime the debug messages box was checked. It shouldn't be.

What can I do, a message keeps appearing saying enternal server error 500, on the home page on top bar. That was where we had the tab for Foxnews. But this problem is intermittent. Sometimes Fox news comes up where we use to get it.
The 500 Internal Server Error is a very general HTTP status code that means something has gone wrong on the web site's server but the server could not be more specific on what the exact problem is.
Below are few troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
1. Reload the web page. You can do that by clicking the refresh/reload button, pressing F5, or trying the URL again from the address bar.
2. Clear your browser's cache.
3. Delete your browser's cookies. -

Black Status Bar Message Keeps Appearing in my Imac

Does anyone knows how did the Black Message Box bottom appear in the Imac? Was it because of something that I accidentally pressed?

Error message keeps appearing when opening iTunes
I keep trying to open iTunes and the error message -45075 keeps appearing. I have just reinstalled the programme like I was prompted to and it is now coming up with this new error code. What does this mean and what do I do to fix it?
Just in case the component being referenced is not part of iTunes but is rather part of one of the other related programs, it might be worth trying a complete uninstall/reinstall of iTunes and related componentry, as per the following troubleshooting document:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7 -
An iCloud error message keeps appearing since I upgraded to OS X 10.10
Ever since I changed from Mavericks to Yosemite the error message below keeps appearing on my MBP.
It appears three or four times each day, but when I do the only thing there is an option for, all my iCloud Preferences seem to be correct.
Is the problem likely to be with my MBP, my iCloud account itself or my broadband connection? The crossed out details on the error message of course refer to my email address. This is also my Apple ID, so am I correct in assuming that it isn't likely to be a problem with that email account?
If I do nothing and dismiss the error message it doesn't seem as if iCloud has a problem at all, and it appears to work okay.
The error message is getting a bit annoying now.HI,

I recently upgraded to IOS 5, as well as connected to a cable network instead of dsl, updated iTunes and sync'd my iPad to my Windows XL and got on board with iCloud. Now I keep getting a message that says, " cannot get mail, user ID or password incorrect" with options of choosing OK or going to settings. If I choose the settings, it brings me to account info with my email address and password ( dots) Then if I erase the password and put it back in, it says it's incorrect and if I save it, I may not receive or send mail. If I go directly to my account from the settings icon, and erase my password there instead, and then re- enter it, then it verifies it. Regardless of anything I do, the same message keeps popping up and is very annoying, as well as interrupting. What's wrong, please?
Thanks for answering, but I should've clarified... The message keeps popping up every couple of minutes. Sometimes as soon as I click OK, it comes back again. I tried deleting the account and re-entering it again, but that didn't work. I tried resetting my iPad by holding both the on and the off switch down until the apple appears...still no help. I went to my PC, and logged into my account and viewed my email without any problem. Is this a problem with my iPad or Yahoo? I called a Yahoo line, and was told I had reached the wrong extension, since it was a line for technical assistance only, and then he hung up. What can I do next?

Haven't received any new emails on imac since 4 Sept (all received fine on ipad) and online gmail account. We sent an oversized message on that date and it keeps appearing continually (literally hundreds of times) in the Recovered Messages folder. I'm assuming this is causing some sort of blockage?? Seem to be able to send mail OK, just not receive (apart from new versions of the 4th September message). Any help gratefully received. Thanks
Hi,
Since Outlook running on Windows works well, it seems an issue on the Mac side. I suggest ask Mac for help so that you can get more professional suggestions.

I cannot use my Ipad because Im getting a pop up asking for my Apple ID password but when I enter it the pop up just keeps coming back and doesn't go away. It pops up every second it doesn't let me do anything on my Ipad not even turn on WiFi! The account and pasword are correct in fact I can use them fine on my Iphone. I have tried restarting my Ipad and turning it of, it doesn't work! What is happening and what can I do to fix it?
Same problem for me.
1. Cannot connect to wifi as icloud password pop up keeps appearing.
2. tried deleting account. UNable to do so.
3. tried resetting password by logging into apple id through desktop as mentioned in one of the responses in another thread. Unfortunately the apple id to be reset is the same as being prompted by icloud and hence unable to reset the same.
Feel like breaking the **** ipad into bits. Stupid of apple to let such a bug in and not offer support !! -
I recently downloaded ios 6.1.3 in my iphone 3, but unable to install the download. This message keeps showing "unable to install update, an error occurred installing the ios 6.1.3 I have tried several times but the same message keeps coming. What is the solution?
There is no such thing as an iPhone 's3'. There is a 3G which can only be updated to iOS 4.2.1 and a 3GS which can be updated to iOS 6.1.3.

Device removal message keeps appearing
Hi, I have a 20" iMac, OSX 10.5.8, 2.33 GHz intel core 2 duo, 4gb Ram machine.
When I recently started up my machine , I started to get the "device removal notification" window popping up(the one that says a hardware device wasn't removed correctly and there may be damage, etc).
It keeps appearing about once every ten minutes or so, even though I have neither plugged in or removed any devices. I tried restarting the machine, but it still continues to appear every once in a while.
Any ideas?
thanks
