ACPI driver for HP 2000-355DX

Hi, I was just given an HP 2000-355Dx from a friend and I like but but I can not seem to find and ACPI driver for it. That causes the windows 8 fastboot feature not to work correctly so when I shut the PC down it just hangs on a black screen until I press and hold the power button.
Can someone tell me where to find this driver? I have checked the product support page with the drivers on it but there is no ACPI driver listed there

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP 2000-355DX Notebook and issues with the ACPI driver.
The driver you are referring to is the Plug and Play driver for Windows. Have you tried to update the driver by right clicking on it and selecting update driver in the Device Manager.
Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system at the time of purchase.
The only other thing you can do is return the Windows back to Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit). This is what was installed originally on this Notebook. Here is a document on how to do that if you wanted to.

Help Required with 2pc Commit (Inet Opta Xa Driver for MSSQL 2000 on Weblogic 6)

Hi,
          I was trying to use the "Inet Opta" Xa driver for MSSQL 2000 with
          weblogic 6.0.
          I get the following Exception when i try to get a database connection
          from a "Xa" Pool, in a transaction. The Pool did start up Correctly. Also,
          i have given SupportsLocalTransaction="true" in the pool declaration. And
          if i give EnableTwoPhaseCommit="true" in the Tx Datasource declaration,
          weblogic starts up, but without starting the connection pools. (also it does
          not deploy my ejbs in this case!).
          Could somebody help?
          Atleast, could somebody tell me when BEA is going to finish implementing
          an Xa Driver for MSSQL?

          Certification for MS SQLServer as a XA resource is in our plan for the near future,
          so hopefully we will soon find out if there are vendor bugs and also see if we can
          provide corresponding workarounds.
          Meanwhile, could you start the server with -Dweblogic.Debug=weblogic.JTAXA,weblogic.JTAJDBC
          and post the server log file?

Oracle 8 Driver for Windows 2000

I recently upgraded my Web servers to Windows 2000 Advanced Server. Previously I was running the site in Windows NT and used the setup program that came with the application to install the ODBC driver. I ran the same program in Windows 2000 but at the end of installation, it displays an error. Where do I download Driver and setup program to install correct version for windows 2000 Advanced Server?

Which version of Oracle do you have and what is the error? Older versions of Oracle, i.e. 8.0.5 & 8.1.5, probably pre-date Windows2000 and thus aren't likely to be certified there.

Webcam 3 driver for windows 2000

Hello,
I have a Creative Labs WebCam 3 ; it's from about 2 years ago;
I run windows 2000.
I know that the ID of this webcam is : 0x5a9/0xa5
(from the message I get when connecting it to linux).
I had tried to download the
"Video Blaster WebCam 3" driver for win2000 from creative websitw downloads page;
(It is called WebCam3GDrvsV2_0505.EXE)
But after insatlling it I could not use the webcam with it; it is probably
not the right driver.
I had tried also,from the downloads : "Creative Webcam"
From there I got 2 options which seems also not the right ones:
Also it seems to me that model PD00/Model PD00
Any idea which is the right driver ?

Officially the printer is not supported on Windows 2000 as you may find listed within its specs:

You may try using an alternative driver for printing, any other functionality will not be available however:

Under the control panel open printers and click Add printer.

The latest ones look to be the 8.1.7 JDBC drivers for NT/2000.

What Driver for Agilent 2000-X Series Win NT / Labview 6

Need to Integrate a 2000-X series into an old AT system.

Could use help getting started - not sure if this setup will work or what drivers will be compatible with this system?

I believe all the neccesary drivers are there after lookiong into it further.
NI-488.2 and NI-Visa 2.6 are installed.
NI MAX version is 3.02.3005
Connection is GPIB.
Seems that I could use the DLL flexible prototype adapter in Test stand to utilize the functions in the GPIB32.dll of the NI-488.2 driver.
Looking for a little direction or clarity on what approach to take using this instrument with this setup.
Just learning the ropes and not too familiar setting up to send/rcv SCPI commands to control instruments.

Well it must be an OEM product, so a driver may not be available. However all Sound Blaster PCI series cards (Ensoniq chip I think) use a single driver, apart from the PCI52 which uses a crippled EMU0k chip.
So try to use the drivers and updates for Sound Blaster PCI 6, PCI 64 or PCI 28. VIBRA is PCI 6 I think.

Update: I did a little search in the net and it appears 373 is the chip name. This was an Ensoniq chip, so it was named ES373, then CT373 etc... It is a bit confusing because the retail sold cards carry a CT4xxx ot CT5xxx model number, some like yours just the renamed chip etc. The actual card is PCI 28. Iphone driver for windows 2000 sp4?

When I plug my iphone in to my windows 2000 sp4 box it is not recognized. I get the "add new hardware" wizard and it wants me to locate a driver. I already have itunes 7.3x installed. Is there a windows 2000sp4 driver? Can I use the windows XP driver?

I have trouble setting up the database connection using jdbc driver in the studio, could anyone help me please? I have MS SQL 2000 MSDE installed on my local machine. I downloaded and installed the JDBC Driver for MSSQL 2000 from Microsoft.
I put the following jar files into the/lib/ext/ directory
msbase.jar
mssqlserver.jar
msutil.jar
In Studio 4.1 EE, I went to Runtime>Databases>Drivers, Add a new Driver with these information:
Name: MSSQL Driver
Driver: com.microsoft.jdbcx.sqlserver.SQLServerDataSource
URL Prefix: jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://localhost:<PORT>[;DatabaseName=<DB>]
Next I run the Test Driver...
Database URL: jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://<machineName>\\<instanceName>;DatabaseName=<xxx>
User: <username>
Password: <password>
I receieved the a popup box and message in the output window:
Internal test driver incomplete. the driver may not support the required DatabaseMetadata methods. take a look at the Output Window for details.

com.microsoft.jdbcx.sqlserver.SQLServerDataSource is a very old direct driver. I'd recommend using the DataDirect 3.2 driver. It can be found at:

Service market place has given the driver as "JDBC Driver for MS SQL Server (Version 3.70.10)", is there a way to find out if it is for 2000 or 2005?
