ACR and the Custom Settings option on the flyout menu...
I am currently running the trial of CS4 to see if its worthy of my hard earned cash. I normally run CS3 and an old version of ACR (4.4.1) specifically for the reason that I can mass process a group of images by using the Custom Settings option in the flyout menu. (Select a file, adjust it, export it, select another or 10 from the same group, hit Custom Settings, and viola, all now have the same adjustments)
Every ACR 'update' since that one took this option away from me.
So, here's my quandary... Keep CS3 (and my hard earned $'s) using the old ACR... or figure out how to replace the quick adjustment options I had in CS3 with the New-and-Ever-So-Wonderful CS4...
Any ideas?

You can open hundreds of files in ACR, slect and adjust the first one, choose sunchronize and apply the adjustment to all open files. Try looking at the tutorials on AdobeTV etc, and

I am using the native iOS reminders app. I have tried closing the app and powering my phone off and on, but to no avail. I was under the impression that one can set custom reminders using siri? I have friend with a toddler who was playing with my phone. I figured maybe she set off Siri and a custom reminder was set by mistake? -
The customized settings on my toolbar periodically disappear, and I have to re-set them. How can I avoid this nuisance?
If you mean you're about to perform a restore from a backup to a new device, it depends on the app. Some will retain their passwords, some will not. That's my experience.

So i went and updated my iPhone 4S via the settings option from the phone, next thing it asked me to connect to iTunes, i've downloaded the new ios but i've been trying for almost 5 hours, countless problems occur, waiting for iPhone, stuck at verifying, error 0xE0000xx and so on, i've tried changing cables and redownloading iTunes, nothing seems to work. Help.

Ever since I updated to Firefox 3.6.x I am getting constant page-load errors on apps in Facebook. I've cleared the history, the cache, cookies... and will literally set it for the "custom history settings" in my tools/options/privacy tab, reload the page, it's fine. I go to another page and come back to the app (same window) and get the error message again. Back to tools/options/privacy and "Remember History" is showing, rather than the custom settings. This is happening incessantly.
I also have this problem and it just started in the last week or so. It seems to be dependent on my home network and the problem only exists with firefox. I have used chrome and IE8 with no issues. I can verify tomorrow that it only exists in my network but one thing I was able to test is that the problem exists even on my linux boot. I am totally dumbfounded with this problem and I can't find anything that will allow the gmail page to load. All other pages I have tried load fine, all be it a little slower than normal but they load. If anyone knows of a difference between firefox and all other browsers on how it goes through the router I would appreciate the info cause I don't know of any differences.

I can't find the fox for the custom personas option menu.
I want to wear my own custom persona for my firefox browser, nut I can't find the fox they are talking about. Quote:

Did a search on both Fire Sheep and Black Sheep in Fire Fox add Ons and came up zero results! Anyway I hope this may help some Persona users!

BO 4.0 LCM - Using the Override Settings Option
I am reading the LCM user manual and I am wondering:
What is meaning of Using the Override Settings Option?
I need to use LCM to move WebI reports and Universes from one environment to another
and from one environment to a LCMBIAR file.I did everything as advised to apply an override for the universe connection object, even though there is no change in the connection settings from QA to PROD, I still get this during Test Promote:
Resolution Status=Copied, Dependency Status=All the required dependencies are included., Commit Status=Commit is successful., Promotion Status=Warning : Can't apply override; Override information is Not Available
When I do the actual promotion, the job fails for the connection object citing override issues. I don't know what's going on with LCM but is there any way to no be forced to use the override feature?

I changed to ipad air 2 and am unable to download books from overdrive. I am connected to wifi and have tried every option on the overdrive site. It closes everytime I try to download a file.
Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
If that doesn't help, restart your internet modem and router then try downloading books. -
When I attempt to log on to I tunes I get the following message:
"The registry settings used by the I Tunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing.
This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please re-install I Tunes."
To my knowledge no new software has been installed. I have tried un-installing and re-installing I Tunes but I still
get the same message.
Can anyone offer any suggestions? Do I need to download a new driver?

Do you mean you can't see the instructions on what to do if there is no UpperFilters entry?
If so, here's the relevant instructions for that step:
On the right side of the Registry Editor window, right-click the UpperFilters entry and choose Modify from the shortcut menu.
Right-click the empty white space within the right-hand portion of the Registry Editor window. From the shortcut menu, choose New > Multi-String Value.
Name this new value "UpperFilters" (without the quotes). Then, right-click the newly created UpperFilters entry and choose Modify from the shortcut menu. -

when i was having trouble with my optical drive(before Dell sent me a new one) the dell tech support representative had me delete some reg. files to try to fix the problem. I was told this would not affect the new drive when i install it or any of my existing programs. here is what he had me do....

how can i get this message box to stop poping up every time i open i tunes? otherwise i tunes works fine. it still rips cd's. I just keep getting this message even after reinstalling i tines.

fter updating my IOS TO 8.1 (12B411) on 10/23/14, I went to update my blood sugar level in the IHealth app. And now after the new IOS update I'm unable to find the blood glucose option in the IHealth app. Did Apple remove it or just mess up AGAIN?
Apple removed blood glucose until further notice. The reason behind this is that it gave a distorted picture in countries where the medical world used other measuring units. I suspect it will be available again in a future update.

Everytime I connect my iPod Touch (4th Gen) to my laptop, running Win 7 (64 bit) I get the message "The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing. This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall iTunes" I have reinstalled iTunes several times and it has not fixed the issue. I am running ver 10.2.2.12 of iTunes. I HAVE NOT installed any other burning software to my laptop either. I haven't tried uninstalling iTunes and then re-installing it yet. Would that perhaps fix the problem? I've read that many users have had issues with the new version of the software and I was wondering if that might be causing my issue. I'd like to point out that iTunes seems to work after getting rid of the message, but I haven't tried to burn any CDs or put music from a CD to my laptop. Any ideas on how to get rid of the annoying message?
I also am having trouble hooking up with our other computers using Homegroup. I noticed quite a lot of people are having the same issue and hopefully they come up with a fix for that soon.
