ACR Rating doesn't shown up in Bridge

Hey guys,
after reinstalling the CS3 Mastercoll. I have several problems I couldn't solve.
First:
I open a bunch of photos(Nikon D700, NEF codec installed) in ACR 6.4. After some color and rating changings I close ACR.
Next step would be, open the rated pictures but I cant see any rating I made in ACR in Bridge. XMP were created.
Second:
Sometimes NEF Thumbnails, sometimes not. - No Thumbnails in photo-downloader.
I installed the NEF Codec.
Any ideas?

downgraded camera raw to 4.6 but no change. in all points.
still: -no thumbnails in photodownloader
-no rating made in ACR in bridge "seeable"
good to know: everything worked fine until last week. bridge was not able to start, so I had to remove the whole collection cause in CS3 Brisge isn't listed in the programs you can remove. so I reinstalled and from than on the problems started. I uninstalled and reinstalled but the problems still existing.

RoboHelp does not support Chrome, even the current version. You could see if your help works with the current version by using the trial but do not load it on your production machine as you will likely encounter problems if you revert to X5. If it does not work, you're out of luck.

Impossible to get ACR showing the same colors as in Bridge

Usually my .NEF files (shot with a D90) appears with quite soft colors and contrast in Bridge. However, since yesterday, as soon as I use the magnifier (in the filmstrip mode) or open a .NEF file with ACR, the colors are warming up. I must have done something wrong and changed some settings, but I can't find what it is. Even if I leave the white balance on "as shot", and try all the camera profiles available (ACR 4.6, Adobe Standard, Camera D2X mode1, 2, 3, Camera Neutral,...), I can't get ACR showing the same colors as my preview in Bridge. I also tried the "reset camera raw defaults" function, didn't help either.
I guess that if I have the same problem when I use the magnifier in Bridge without opening the file in ACR, it is because ACR still takes action to load the full image, isn't it?

Thanks for your answer. I'll reply point by point.
My monitors are calibrated, and I did it recently. But this is not the problem here since I can see the colors changing live on the monitor when I activate the magnifier: I click somewhere on the image with the magnifier, it takes a few seconds to load the 100% section of the image and then the colors are changing on the whole image (not only the enlarged section). Similarly, when I open the image in ACR, I can still simultaneously see the Bridge version of the image on the same monitor and they have different colors. So this shouldn't be a monitor problem.
My color settings in Photoshop (Edit>Color settings) are set on sRGB IEC61966-2.1 and set on "preserve embedded profiles". But I don't get that point, does the color setting in PS affect the colors in Brigde and ACR when PS is not open?
Bridge preferences: What would be useful to know, there are many preferences?! Here are a few that might be of some help: Cache: all unchecked; Advanced: all unchecked; Output: "convert multi-byte..." and "preserve embedded color profile" are checked
ACR preferences: all unchecked except "apply auto grayscale mix when converting to grayscale"
I didn't know how Bridge and ACR were working. But I don't understand what could have changed over the couple of days since before that, the pictures open in ACR (or zoomed in in Bridge) did look exactly the same as the preview. If none of PS, ACR or Bridge are set to apply some color corrections, where do they get this information from?
Sorry, I forgot to give the details about the softwares. I'm using CS4 (PS 11.0.2, Bridge 3.0.0.464, ACR: 5.7.0.213) on a MacOS 10.5.8.
I didn't know how to trash the Bridge preferences, so I did it and... that worked! Colors are not changing anymore. But what could it have been, how is this resetting different from the "reset camera raw defaults" function for example?
Thanks for your input, it did solve my problem. I still don't understand the few things described above though, so if you have a few minutes, it would be great if you could explain them to me.

Price List Lines doesn't shown up

All of sudden the price list lines are doesn't shown up on the price list form, any idea?

Can't tell what could have happened, but check the qp_pricing_attributes table for the qualification_id flag. It should be 4. If it is not run QP: Maintains the denormalized data in QP Qualifiers and that should bring the lines back to the form.

Bridge CS6 after editing in ACR--rating system fails

I rate my images with 1 star. Then I select and open them in ACR and edit. After I click "done" some of the files are no longer rated. I have to go lookin the unlabeled files for the missing images. Then when I try to restar them--it won't let me give it a 1 star. I can give it another rating, and then after that it will let me rate it at a 1 star. This only occured when I switched to CS6 from CS3.

Some have no problems with ratings and others find they disappear, so don't have any solution. Be sure and wait a few seconds as it seems like it is not instantaneous, especially with video.

Lens correction doesn't work in CS5 Bridge

Lens Correction in Bridge isn't working properly for me.
I ran the Lens Correction tool in Bridge and selected "Match best profile" from the profile section.
The script ran and saved the new files in the proper folder, but didn't produce any lens correction results. I double-checked this by creating a highly distorted lens profile and running the script with that, but it didn't produce any results either. It seems the Lens Correction tool, when accessed through Bridge, isn't working. It does, however, work great when used in Photoshop... just not in Bridge where you can apply it to multiple files.
Has anyone had any experience with this? Judging from the ancient dialog screen, I'd bet that this feature doesn't get used much.

Your last remark about popular usage seems to be spot on, never even tried it myself. It seems one of the many needless and bad working options in Bridge that should have been dealt with long time ago but as we all know by now Bridge is neglected by Adobe bean counters and we still are waiting for the miracle...
Tried your route in Bridge CC (selecting a few files in Bridge / menu tools / Photoshop / Lens Correction) and run the scripts.
You are right, the files are saved in a separate 'results' folder with the same filename but nothing has changed other then instead having a locked background layer now the dreadful 'layer 0' assigned (dreadful because I have lots of actions working on the layer called 'background' and they refuse to work on 'layer 0', I have to built in a flatten layer command to change it again to background, but this is slightly Off Topic…)
And indeed, the same files running in PS lens correction filter do have the correct result.
You can't use raw or DNG directly in the Bridge script because the result can only be saved as jpg, png, PSD and Tiff.
Meanwhile you could do the obvious and choose from two options:
- follow the ACR / Raw -DNG route (preferred because at the start of the process) where you can select the raw files in filmstrip mode and with select all choose lens correction in ACR then hit OK or save or open).
- or in case of already converted or saved files create an action (which is nothing more then a recorded script but then very easy) yourself.
Just open 1 file in PS, then create a new action in the action panel with a proper name. It starts recording and will follow your steps. Apply lens correction with the wanted settings, then hit OK, use flatten layer to return to Background instead of Layer 0, hit save as (choose a proper location because all files will be saved here when running the action) and be sure to not touch or change the file name otherwise each new file will overwrite the previous with the same recorded file name, if you leave it untouched it saves the existing file name in a new location. hit close file and then stop the recording of the action.
Select a bunch of files in Bridge, choose menu tools / PS / Batch and select the action you want to apply and hit OK. In case of 100 + files go for coffee, otherwise watch the magic happen…

ACR not keeping same edit as in Bridge?

In Bridge, my photos are auto toned, and I happen to like the effect most of the time. But when I go to open it in ACR, it does not keep the effect.
I have tried to change the settings and have looked for a way to fix this, but to avail. I want the same edit I see on my photos in Bridge to transfer over to ACR. Because now I have to manually adjust my picture to look like it did in Bridge. Is there an option to keep the same settings?
I use:
ACR 5.7
Bridge CS4
shoot RAW of course.
(by the way, if they say the Bridge can only preview jpegs with the auto tone corrections and must covert to RAW, etc, then why do I see my RAW photos having it? It doesn't make sense.)

If I set automatic autotoning in Bridge the slider values are the same in ACR as if I clicked Auto inside ACR w/o automatic autotoning enabled. So the autotoning is not different.
And I am not seeing any differences if I make a screen-capture of Bridge's Preview and ACR Preview and quickly alternate back and forth between the two with Windows Photo Viewer or similar. There are no differences with or without autotoning applied.
However, what seems to be true is if you have touched an image with ACR and clicked Done or Open Image rather than Cancel to exit ACR, then Bridge automatic autotoning is NOT applied afterwards in either Bridge or ACR. In other words the automatic autotoning in Bridge is only applied to "virgin" images, not already-adjusted images.
Does this explain what you're seeing?

Make rating labels and stars compatible with Bridge.

It would seem logical to allow ratings of images to be viewable in both LR and Bridge. I'm sure there will be a fair percentage of people that still go back and forth. I'm surprised this wasn't allowed.
Actually it would be nice if other software packages used the same rating system as Adobe. Becomes a really pain to do the same thing twice or have to leave say Bridge open to reference the ratings while working in some other editor.

Download and use ACR 3.7 for Bridge. Write to Xmp for Bridge to see what LR does and import from XMP to see wgat Bridge does. It is there already.
Just not automatic.

Hi, if i look in my Activityprogram I see a red line and it's from Switchboard, with the attention, 'Doesn't respond!'. I looked in the details and saw that it is from Bridge. What do I have to do to resolve this problem? Gz, Henri

Is the file size of a selected image shown on Adobe Bridge CC 2014? If so, where?

Is the file size of a selected image among the filter categories? Or anywhere else? I know I can find it in Photoshop, but that is cumbersome.

The file size is shown in the Metadata panel.
You can not filter on file size but you can sort by file size.

Have Adobe Photoshop 2014 and Adobe Bridge 2014 and just uninstalled CS6 Photoshop which also removed Bridge. Have an iMac with Mavericks Os X and downloaded DNG Converter V8.6. When connecting SD card in card reader it doesn't open up in Bridge Photo Dow

Please any assistance would be appreciated thanks. The Photo Downloader doesn't open up automatically but it did when CS6 was still on my system.

Find keyword doesn't work properly in Bridge CS4

I recently upgraded my Bridge from CS3 to CS4 and I'm having trouble doing a find for keywords now. All my photos that I had saved with a keyword kept the keywords from CS3, but any time I do a find for a certain keyword, it says that it didn't find anything. However, when I go to a certain photo in Bridge and select or highlight that photo, then do a find for that photo using the keyword I saved for it, it will recognize the keyword and find the photo from then on. I have hundreds of photos and I don't have time to open every single folder and select every photo just so that Bridge will recognize its keyword. Is there any way around this and has anyone else had this problem?

Try the find menu (edit/find or cmd+F). In Source choose your main folder all your files are in. Criteria choose keyword and fill in one of the keywords you want.
Be sure to have a checkmark in fornt of the options 'Include all subfolders' and 'include Non indexed files'.
Hit find and let Bridge do it's searching. This first time may take a bit long but now Bridge starts indexing all files. After this you should be able to use the option for finding keywords as normal.

Acrobat Pro doesn't color sync with Bridge

Really would like to know if anybody has a solution for this. Running Acrobat Pro 9.3.4 with Design Premium CS5 and although all the other apps within the suite sync fine Acrobat doesn't. Tried deleting the pref files for Acrobat and have done a clean install of acrobat with no effect. Would appreciate any thoughts on how to resolve this as its a royal pain!

Colossus, Ivory and Garritan Persional Orchestra doesn't shown up

Hi all,
I've just installed Logic Express yesterday and migrating my stuffs from Cubase to it. Installed and validated Garritan Personal Orchestra, Colossus but they didn't shown up in LE. Stand-alone version works fine. I've checked the Plugins folder and the component files are there. My machine is a MacBook Pro.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It didn't even show up in the AU. Further researchs show that since my machine is an Intel mac, those plugins won't work, at least for now.

Hi, i'm having the same problem, will shut down my iphone to see if this works and check it tomorrow. However my Bluetooth was still working but I couldnt skip tracks via the buttons on my dash or steering wheel, only on my iphone.
Is there a option that allows you to skip tracks while the screen is locked, as I can't do this anymore??
