Acrobat 10 - I can't see the comments in the comment list
So I have received a pdf back from a client with comments. I know they are inserted right as I can see them in the comment list in adobe reader. However, when I open it in my Adobe Acrobat 10, I can see the comment icon in the pdf and I can read them on the actual page, but the comments list is empty. This is obviously less than ideal as I can't organise my comments and see how many I've got left!

Click the disclosure triangles next to the other mailboxes to hide their contents. If that doesn't reveal the Inbox, see below.
Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folder.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Log out and log back in. Launch Mail and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to recreate some of your Mail settings. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window. If you still have the problem, quit Mail again and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Post your results.
Caution: If you change any of the contents of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may crash or not launch at all. Deleting the whole sandbox will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

I may be a bit behind the times: I am used to tabbed browsing showing all the tabs it possibly can, instead of just the last one. Sometimes it won't even show the last tab: I can have 15 tabs open, and not see a single tab. I've been confused by this into closing a window with lots of tabs open, because it looks like a single page-window.
My main problem with the tab-bar flashing to the end of the row is that it means a great deal more mouse-clicking around to browse.
I haven't tried installing the latest beta. Maybe that would fix the problem.

I can't see the source list...
On iTunes, I can't see the source list on the left hand side... So, I cannot edit playlists, or any of that fun stuff.

I'm having the exact same problem. Got around updating iLife & iWork searching for the apps one by one and clicking "Update" but I can't install the new iTunes because the Updates tab just won't show the available updates.

My iPhone 4s was stolen almost a week ago now. If I can still see the phone listed in Find My iPhone but appears to be turned off does this mean the theif has not restored it to factory settings???
Are you sure? I have other devices at home. The only way I can make them disappear on the tracking list is by turning off location or resetting to factory settings.
I just want to make sure I'm not tracking a phantom that I will never recover :-( -
Help! I can't see the songs listed in ITUNES!
I am not that computer literate, but since last night I have not been able to see the song list in ITUNES. How can I buy a song if I dont see it listed? I have have been downloading songs without difficulty for months. What gives?

Welcome to the forums. You need to be running iTunes 4.9 or later to use the iTunes Music Store. This is a very recent change. Go HERE and download the latest version.

i downloaded skype and couldn't see contacts or menu bar. downloaded a NEW account, put in separate credit, and still can't see contacts or find new ones. there doesn't seem to be that feature. a contact list and/or menu bar. please help????

Have you signed into Skype with your Skype name and password? Do you have an interface similar to that shown in the video? Incidentally, the video demonstrates an iPad in landscape orientation. -
Can't see the songs listed on the IPOD in Itunes
I cannot click on the IPOD administrator when connected to Itunes and get the song listing on the IPOD shuffle. All I get is the IPOD shuffle settings screen (showing Software version 1.0.4, capacity, serial # etc)- no listing of the songs, This is a recent problem - in the last 2 weeks. I have downloaded latest IPOD and ITUNES software and it does not fix the problem.
Can someone please help?Not dumb... It's actually a bit confusing with the latest version of iTunes, and it only affects 1st and 2nd gen shuffle users.
Before, it was Settings and Content. And they clearly looked like separate "tab" choices. iTunes 11 changed the wording to Settings and On This iPod, and it's harder to see the separation as "button" choices. So, it looks like it says, "Settings on this iPod." On other iPods, it starts with Summary (not Settings) there are more button choices there (not just two), so it's not as confusing that the last one is On This iPod.

Rocío.I have this same issue. Internet works, I can connect to it, but i doesn't show in the Airport Utility. Also, it doesn't let me connect to other computers or my AirDIsk. I am using 10.5. Unplug and plugin style reset fixes it...for a while. Any ideas anyone?

I rented a movie from Itunes on my Iphone; however, i can't find where to watch or view it. The movie does not show up in my videos or movies yet ther is a blinking "1" in the red dot on my Itunes app on the bottom right of the screen over the "more" tab? any ideas on how to get to the movie?
ah, ok yes i did do that last night. I just did it again and relized that ther is a "Downloads" tab. I selected it and stated that there was a download error. I'm currently retrying it now. and it is now showing in my videos.

The table MARV holds the current and previous values for the purchasing period and who changed them. The table is usually set for logging of changes and you may be able to find the history you want depending on how your database is setup. I hope this helps.

The TOC is very confusing. How can I see the whole list of all the chapters, as it would appear in a book? I only can see a vague image of the chapter title, and only from one chapter at a time; the chapter I am on. In the instruction example it shows also only the "title" of the chapter it pertains to, but it is all in legeable text. The inspector gives options, but it does not explain how to apply it, and I cannot see what my option will look like and to what part of the "text" it is referring.
The "lower rectangles" are thumbnails of the actual pages in your book... the text was presumably the content of your book. IF you did as I suggested to keep the TOC listing of a full book.. but removed content on all except the three chapters you want to send off to XXXXX - then the "rectangles are showing blank pages. Which is normal.
You need to understand that Apple created iBooks Author to create a book which can be obtained from their iBooks store. The application is flexible for customisation to a large extent and the innovative make use of that flexibility. The TOC basically replaces the old Index in printed books to advise readers what content is available.
On an iPad, or Mac now, Insterad of using "hyperlinks" from a written index page... which is basic web page navigation - Apple chose to have a visual TOC.
Basically you have to decide - create a three chapter sample which you seem to require - which will show the TOC as it is, or if you the whole TOC of the finished book is required to show... but not the content, you end up with blank "rectangles".
