Acrobat 10, inc 10.1 erratic 'Share' or ability to email file

Question

Thought 10.1 might fix this, but no such luck.
May have been covered before, but STILL no search ability on the forum, so who knows....
Every so often a pdf that I've created and saved cannot then be emailed because the email icon opens the Share pane, but the pane remains blank.  At other times the pane may have the correct fields and text, but the file name does not appear in the field.  Anyone know why?

Hang on; its worse than that:  the 10.1 update has changed this behaviour from erratic to solid.  I cannot share/send email from Acrobat at all now.
Protected view 'off' and Enhanced Security 'off' makes no difference.

I think I'm currently the only user of v10, so cannot say if machine-specific.
The workflow that seems to cause the problem is as follows:-
Open pre-prepared Word document with table rows and text, and add to both. (Word 2003 SP3).
Convert to pdf (not print to pdf).
Open for form editing.  Decline option to check for form fields (there aren't any).
Add digital signature form field.
File>Save As>Reader Extended pdf>Enable Additional Features. (saves OK).
At this point attempt to email, and this is where I believe it was formerly 'erratic'. For the two weeks that our site had Reader 10 deployed (since withdrawn) there were similar reports.
With 10.1, I cannot email or share any pdf file of any origin (until disabling the share pane as suggested).
Thanks for pointing me at the workaround, that does the job.
