Acrobat 6 and 8 see different values in fields

I have a client that has been using Acrobat 6 to generate PDFs and fill in the fields. She has a standard PDF she makes for each client that is then copied and the values changed for each job. She's in the process of upgrading to 8, but ran in to a problem that I'm at a loss to explain. The forms generated in 6 that are opened by 8 don't show the correct values. The data relects the original form. For example, she had one dated 3/12/11 with maybe 100 different fields. She copied it, replaced the data in every field (such as making the date 4/1/12) and saved it. When 8 opens it, it sees the original values throughout. When I opened it with Reader, it showed the new values correctly.
What gives?

Two days and nothing? Nice to see Adobe doesn't care that their product has a serious flaw. I think I'll just suggest they return Acrobat and try PhantomPDF by Foxit. They at least respond to issues. Cheaper too.

There are vi's available to read mouse position. Look for mouse in the example code section here. You can use the Position attribute of the property node of your graph to get the mouse position within the graph. You can get the range of the scales from the property node. Then it will be a bit of straightforward math to figure out the values.
Beware that the size of the drawing area of the graph can change as the numbers in the scales get bigger or smaller! Good Luck

I have been creating forms in InDesign and pulling into Acrobat XI Pro to do form fields. My client would like to fill in the PDF form using Reader, save under a different name locally on their device, and redistribute. The problem I have is that, sometimes, they want to redistribute the form as Read Only. I know how to flatten the form on a mobile device, but uncertain how they can do that with a PC or Mac using Adobe Reader. I looked at FormsCentral thinking there might be a solution going that route, but don't believe there is. Any advice?

FormsCentral won't help with flattening a form. You could set up the form in Acrobat so that the fields are set to read-only, using JavaScript. Not quite the same as flattening but it's the best Reader can do.
Note that when Reader is used to e-sign a document, it gets flattened, but this won't be possible if you need to Reader-enable the form and under certain other conditions.

Differing CMYK in Acrobat and Photoshop (same file)

If your assumption is correct, I don't understand why Photoshop would overrule the CMYK colours in the PDF and interpret them differently, especially since when opening the PDF in Photoshop, I select the CMYK 16-bit option.
Why not? You are merely tagging the objects and force-overriding the color conversion rule based on the original state they were embeded in. Nothing gets ever truly converted in the sense it would in PS. This is merely a way of fixing issues in pre-press and generating the ink plates based thereon and IMO PS is correct in ignoring these device dependent settings and uses its own color management to convert. The way I see it, there is nothing wrong here.

Overlaying 2 fields to display different values on a button click

hi,
I have designer 7 in my local machine and I have overlaid 2 fields - one as visible and one as invisible - containing value and Percentage information. When the user clicks on a button I show percentages or values like a toggle. It seems to work fine in the preview mode of Designer 7.0 but it does not work in our form server that has version 6 .. Is there a work around to this issue?
This is the actual function that I call when the toggle button is clicked..

With version 7, there is a new dynamic xfa tag within the document. If you are trying to change the content of the document within Reader then you are probably using Dynamic PDF. If you save your code with Acrobat 6 compatible PDF, then you will see the same thing happen as form server 6. Form Server 6 does not have support for Dynamic PDF yet. That will be available with Form Server 7

How to get key and text value of field "TNDRST" in VTTK from R/3 into BI

There is one field call "TNDRST(Tender Status)" in SAP table VTTK in R/3. We can find key value, but we are unable to find text for this field in VTTK. However we can see text value if we double click domain:TNDRST and go to value range.
Questions, how to get key value and text of TNDRST together in BI. Do we need to create a master data source for TNDRST text information in R/3 and extracting into BI, if yes, how to? Are there any easy way to do it??

You need to create a generic Text Datasource to extract this information into BI System.
1. Create a generic DS based on Table: DD07T
2. The fields should be put in the extract structure.
          DOMNAME (Make this as Selection in the DS ) -
Filter the Domain Name
          DOMVALUE_L -
Key Value of Tender Status
          DDTEXT -
Text / Description
          DDLANGUAGE -
Language
3. DD07T is the table with all the Domain names & their values, so in the Infopackage enter the Selection Value for DOMNAME as 'TNDRST' and then run it.
Or you can create a view out of this table based on DOMNAME filter as 'TNDRST'.

How to populate SNDPRN with different values in Development and Production?

Hello experts,
I have to fill the field SNDPRN in the message mapping with a different value in Development and in Production. As I am new to PI, I used a simple solution - but it is rather ugly: I set a constant value in the mapping in development and a different one in Production. However, I would like to know if there is any solution to have a condition in the mapping like:
IF system is Development, set SNDPRN as Constant1.
IF system is Production, set SNDPRN as Constant2.
(And eventually IF system is Test, set SNDPRN as Constant3)

Hi Luis,
      You can go with the parameterized mapping , where you can provide different values for SNDPRN in interface determination for development and production.
      At point of time if you want to change the values it requires only a change in the configuration.

I am new to workflow and I am trying to create an attachment in Workflow (SAP ECC 6.0) and pass it through to a User Decision (User Decision works fine) however the workflow is failing on the attachment step with u2018The source and target structure have a different number of fieldsu2019. Problem has now been resolved. Problem was related to use of swr_att_id structure and swc_set_element statement in BOR program - problem resolved by only setting w/f container to swr_att_id-doc_id.

Different values on form and database

i have a field which counts the number of rows
on the form which is showing a different value (which is correct)
and in the database it is showing a different value (incorrect)

listening for the first time but u r facing the problem, reconfirm that the query/properties are correct in form properties, check it by creating new form module for just checking weather it is showing correct in that form. and c if there is when_new_form_instance trigger or When_Validate_windows trigger used for some execution. and one more thing just check if u didnt change the column and create it again and database type is NO ( properties )

Query parameters with the same name and different values

According to HTTP, multiple query or post parameters with the
same name and different values are permitted. They are transfered
over the wire in the following format -
name1=val1&name1=val2&name1=val3
The problem is that I can't see anyway of assigning multiple
parameters with the same name and different values to the request
object of mx.rpc.http.HTTPService. I have tried using the
flash.utils.Dictionary object as it does strict key comparison but
that doesn't work too. I have tried setting an array of values to a
property of the request object but that sends the request to the
server in the following format -
name1=val1,val2,val3
The java servlet engines throw exceptions when they see this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After checked in sapenote sapnote 100273 which said "For an FI posting (for example, with Transaction FB01),

So, Any change amount value of items in accounting doc. This problem should to update, correct?
For any change of amount value in item of accounting doc and currencies is change.
Need to reupdate this table with new currencies? or any logic
Now, I found a problem is "Account balance" value in currency group (USD) in transaction FS10
and total sum of "USD Amount" in transaction code FBL3 (If click to sum by currency)
are different for 17.79 USD.
I tried to get a logic of this 2 transaction code and found detail as below:
FS10 : Get data from table GLT0 and for group currency report. Program select data
from field KSLVT and KSLXX to display in report.
FBL3 : Get all data until selected period in table BSAS and sum total amount from field BSAS-DMBE2
(Amount of USD Currency)
Actually, This 2 report should to have the same account balance.
So, My question is
1. When the table (GLT0) update?
2. Can have a problem with the data in GLT0 (field KSLVT and KSLXX t)
and sum of amount USD curency BSAS-DMBE2 are differenct?
If can have, how is occur?

Did you find any relationship between the data (sql data and Essbase)?
While you are loading fresh data, there is no discrepancy.
You find discrepancy at the time of incremental loading.
It might be possible in incremental loading data can be added to already existing value in dimension.
In that case you will find your Essbase data is 2times or 3 times more than base data (sql).
Then check there might be some setting.

DIfferent PDF view in Acrobat and in Reader???

I created a PDF in Adobe Indesign CS3.
It was created starting from page 2.
Because, when I look at it in Adobe ACrobat 8 PRofessional it looks like I want it: Every spread has 2 pages, the start spread has 2 pages.
BUT when I open the same PDF in Acrobat Reader 7 it starts with a single page and all the following spreads have wrong left and right pages!
Why is this happening?
I must be able to depend on that the reader/viewer sees the PDF in a consistent way independent of display application!
Is there anything I can do to force the PDF to look the same in Acrobat and Reader (as it really should do!!)?
Do I really have to make one PDF to be seen in Acrobat and Another to be seen in Reader???

But I am afraid I cannot follow you..
I don't see any settings to set for this subject (in Acrobat Reader 7).
Under Edit->Preferences you can set defaults for Page Display, but nothing that affects how the first page shows.
Under View->Page Display there are choices
   Single Page View
   Continuosly
   Continuosly - two Page View
   Two Page View
So the question remains: Where in Acr Reader 7 can you set the Page Display so that it starts not with a single page but with a 2-page-spread?
However: I installed Acr Reader 10, and that version IS consistent with Acrboat 8 Prof:
A pdf starting on page 2 is displayed with the first spread having 2 pages.
OK, it may be hard for you to answer specifics about Acr Reader v 7,
But still, if the pdf reader still uses the older Acr Reader 7, how could he see the pdf starting with a 2-page-spread as I want him to?
Which 'settings' should I advice him to set?
If you feel that you have any more comment, I would appreciate to hear it!

                   Every fields value stored in Database table only.
                  1. Goto T.code SE15.
                  2.Click the ABAP Dictionary.
                  3.Click the fields.
                  4.And click the Table Fields.
In that field name you will enter the Field name and Execute it.
You will get the so many table name you will find out eassily where the field value stored.
