Acrobat 7 prof "UPGRADE"

I am planning to buy Adobe Acrobat 7 professional originally licensed and comes in its sealed box, but the product I've seen is Adobe Acrobat 7 professional "UPGRADE". It is an updated version or just update patch is? Installation is Multilanguage?

No pierdas tu tiempo y dinero, porque:
Ese paquete que merece estar en el escaparate de un anticuario, dice Upgrade, luego es una actualización de un licencia, asi que para que funcionase tendrías que tener una licencia y versión anterior instalada. necesita ese número para instalarse y funcionar. Luego no te vale.
Sobre lo de multidioma, depende, hay software para una zona geográfica u otra, si lo quisieras en español lo tiene que poner en la etiqueta, si todo viene en inglés, no.
Pero creo que si no tienes ya una licencia y numero de serie, te va a dar igual.
También tendrás un problema para validar (y registrar) un versión tan antigua en los servidores de Adobe. (Tema tratado recientemente en el foro)
Por último decirte que la versión actual es la 11. Actualmente hay ofertas de subscripción mensual/anual para Acrobat.

after entering your xi pro serial number the installer checks your computer for that pro v8 product. failing to find it you will be presented with a menu that allows you to select your qualifying product (pro v8) and you then will be prompted for its (pro v8) serial number.
enter the correct number at the correct time and installation should proceed.

I have a Mac Mini (1.5 GHz, Intel Core Solo) with 512 mb RAM running OS X (10.4.5)
Unable to install Adobe Acrobat Professional 6 upgrade because I am unable to install earlier version full version (I own Acrobat 4 and 5 full versions). Finalizing install of 6 asks me to "Manually identify prior install", "Search hard drive for prior install", or "Manually locate on orig. CD". None of these options are possible (Version 5 CD is not a drag-and-drop app). How do I work around this?

I tried "Manually select..." but when I insert original CD of Acrobat 5, I'm not able to select it. Version 5 is not a drag and drop install,...i must click on the installer to install 5.

Ich habe ein Problem mit Adobe Acrobat 9 prof. Vers. 9.5.5. Wenn ich eine pdf-Datei erstellen will (z.B. aus Dateien, Webseiten etc), erscheint regelmäßig ein FP:
Funktion "Einstellungen-Datei wird geöffnet oder erzeugt" konnte nicht beendet werden, Datei entweder schreibgeschützt oder von einem anderen Benutzer verwendet….
Ich klicke dann auf ok, und die pdf wird dann trotzdem korrekt erzeugt. Reparaturinstallation habe ich versucht, und benutzerdefinierte Einstellungen, die evtl. stören, sind nicht vorhanden.
Hat jemand einen Rat?

Ich habe den Übeltäter inzwischen ausfindig gemacht. Ich habe ein älteres QuiteImposing als plugin installiert, und wenn ich das entferne, reagiert Acrobat wieder normal. Woran diese Unverträglichkeit liegt, weiß ich nicht, aber immerhin ist die Ursache damit zunächst geklärt.

Please download Acrobat X Pro from the link below.
http://www.adobe.com/downloads/other-downloads.html
Install the software and when prompted for the previous version qualifying product, select Acrobat 9 and enter the serial key of Acrobat 9.
This should install and activate Acrobat X Pro on the machine.

I purchased Acrobat XI pro upgrade yesterday, was able to install, deactivate Acrobat X pro. Now however, it is rejecting the serial number for Acrobat X pro and I can't use the program. Please help!!

I use snow leopard and Acrobat 9 prof. my e-mail rogram ist thunderbird-latest version . Whenever I try to send a pdf-document by mail or i want to create my own it appears the following: SendMail kann nicht mit Ihrem Standard-E-Mail-Client kommunizieren. Wählen Sie eine andere E-Mail-Anwendung aus.
Is there someone being able to explain by little steps what i have to do?

A work around is to have the users create the PDF with AA6 compatibility (see the job settings). As an alternative, open the PDF in Acrobat and use either Reduce File Size or PDF Optimize to save the file to an AA6 version.
They might also zip the files before sending them.

Acrobat standard XI upgrade

I'm looking for a solution to convert PDF-files to Excel. I downloaded the trial version of Acrobat Pro, but Acrobat standard can do it also I believe.
Is it possible to install the acrobat standard XI upgrade on our current acrobat reader XI program?

Acrobat and Reader are 2 separate softwares and can coexist on the same machine.
Reader is a free software whereas Acrobat is a paid one.
You cannot upgrade over Reader. You need to own an existing version of Acrobat to be eligible to purchase an upgrade.
Acrobat 9 and later is eligible for upgrade to acrobat 11.

Error installing Acrobat 9 Prof on Win7 64-bit

I bought a new HP laptop and loaded the other components of Creative Suite 4 Design Premium (Win 7 64 bit) with no issues.
I then tried to install Acrobat 9 Professional (several times) and keep getting error messages saying that one or more components dd not load correctly.
My antivirus was turned off and I rebooted after the first failed attempt. The 2nd attempt had the same results.
I've seen others with the same issue while trying to load Acrobat 9 Prof.
What is the "fix" to get this on my new laptop?

Bill@VT I believe you are referring to the need for the CS applications to provide their licensing information so that Acrobat can be licensed as well. This needs to occur before Acrobat is launched for the first time but does not affect the install order.
Mike Sz01 were the remaining applications for CS4 able to be installed successfully? You can review the installation logs for error messages by following the steps listed in Troubleshoot installation with install logs | CS3, CS4 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-installation-install-logs-cs3.html.

Acrobat 6 Prof. will not open

I'm using an older version of Acrobat - 6.0. It used to open fine but now gives me this error message and will not open: The currently selected language resources are not supported by the current version of Adobe Acrobat. Please reselect the language in the International System Preference panel.
I'm using a Mac book pro. English is selected and has always been selected.
Any idea how to get it to open?

Reinstalling Acrobat 9 after upgrading my x86 computer from Win XP Pro to Win 8 Pro on a metered isp

I am trying to reinstall Acrobat 9 after upgrading my x86 computer from Win XP Pro SP3 to Win 8 Pro. I used the CD to install the original Acrobat 9, then began the process of applying all the updates that have been issued since. The update from 9.0 to 9.2.0 was 300.1 MB, but my satellite ISP only allows for 250 MB per day. How can I update to the current version 9.5.3 without having to download and install all the intermediate versions?

After system re-install Acrobat 8 Prof does not work

I had to install my Windows 7 pc. After this nasty procedure I cannot start Acrobat 8 Prof any more, window turns grey. Serial no. is available and no. of activations are not exceeded. Has anybody any idea what went wrong and how I can make use of Acrobat Prof again?

Have you tried a repair from the Start>Control Panel>Programs & Preferences? If a repair will not do the job, then you my have to reinstall as a last result. If you do that, be sure to deacctivate, uninstall, remove the Acrobat folder if any parts left, run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html, reboot, reinstall, and run updates. If a 64-bit system, the updates are an important part. If needed, they can be downloaded from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows and installed in order.
During installation, don't forget to be logged in as the administrator and disable anti-virus.

that was on my printer selection screen is gone. Where did it go
and how can I get it back?

für das fehlerhafte Einziehen der Dokumente kann dein Acrobat natürlich nichts dafür und keine Automatik der Welt wird dir die Seiten wieder richtig einfügen.
Ich würde die nachträglich gescannten Seiten gleich mit den korrekten Seitenummern im Dateinamen speichern (und nicht im Paket). Dann händisch über Dokument/Seiten einfügen platzieren.
Wenns sehr viele Seiten sind bleibt nur die Alternative Scanner tauschen.
