Acrobat 8 misses mail converting Outlook 2007 messages

User had Win XP with Acrobat 8Pro and Office 2007 then moved to new computer with Win7 Pro 32 with Acrobat 8Pro and Office 2007 and has the same problem with converting a batch of emails to pdf.  Sometimes an email won't convert and it finished converting all the other mail.  Any ideas on what is going on?
Jerry

Tried from another computer with XP and 8 Pro still didn't work so tried from a Win7 machine with adobe X standard and it worked everytime.  Just ordered the upgrade because their time is more valuable than the cost.
Thanks

  • Garbage Mail in Outlook 2007 for  workflow  approval and completion

    Dear SRM Gurus,
We have implemented SRM 7.0 and are currently facing issue with outlook 2007 integration.
The workflow work item mail are getting Fwd to Outlook  after scheduling  the report /SAPSRM/OFFLINEAPPROVALSEND with option
    - one e-mail per workitem
    -HTML format
    - approval button not available.
However the  work item mail is coming with garbage content.  earlier we have formating issue and then implemented OSS Note 1482125 , after that entire mail content is a garabage mail in outlook.  the format of the mail in SOST is now showing "HTM"  and  in SOST mail  looks good.
Have anyone experienced this issue earlier ?
Or  does  outlook 2007 only  support  plain text format and not  HTML format.
Any help in this will be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Iftekhar Alam

    Dear Iftekhar,
I guess your problem is the HTM format of the mails, as Outlook 2007 does not use browsers but MS Word to display the mails. You should try to send the RAW format.
For Outlook 2010, HTM is supported again, but weu2019re using RAW format, too, for that version.
    Best regards,

  • How to convert Outlook Express6 messages to Outlook 2007

I down loaded the .dbx file form the laptop (XP)with OE6 to a file and installed that file on the Win7 desktop with Outlook 07. I have not been able to import the messages to Outlook 07. I did ask this a week ago and got a responce from Hal but it's not
in "My Threads". Thanks for any help.

    Hi,
I have met this issue before and I solved it by this method.
I downloaded DBXconv and saved it into a directory with a copy of my Outlook Express mailbox files. I ran the following command to extract the messages into .eml format.
    dbxconv -eml *.dbx
The utility quickly created a folder for each of my .dbx files and created an .eml file for each of my messages. I was then able to import the files into Outlook 2007 by:
    1) Dragging the .eml files into Windows Mail
    2) Exporting the messages from Windows Mail
    3) In Outlook 2007, Selecting File – Import and Export – Import Internet Mail and Addresses
    4) Select Outlook Express 4.x, 5.x, 6.x or Windows Mail
    5) Check the Import Mail and Import Address book boxes and press
    Next
    6) In the Import Addresses window you can set how you want duplicates to be handled – Select the option and click
    Finish
In addition, I find this KB article on Microsoft.com, it also introduces how to import Outlook Express messages into outlook 2007.

  • Converting Outlook 2007 email to PDF; Have to reboot PC to convert multiple times

I have an end user who converts multiple emails to PDF for filing purposes. Adobe converts multiple emails in a portfolio style. Email can be seen as in a file at the top and seen seperately ebelow. After 2-3 times Adobe won't convert to portfolio format, won't give error message, but will convert all selected email as one large PDF. Until user reboots machine, portfolios can't be created.  Tried on two different machines same issue. Using Adobe 9 Pro and Outlook 2007.

Is Acrobat updated to 9.5.2?  What SP do you have installed for Office 2007?  What version of Windows (with SP) is running on these computers?

  • Converting outlook email message to pdf

When converting email messages from outlook 2007, the default initial view is "fit width", but I cannot find a setting to change this to "fit page", so I have to reset each conversion and save.  I changed the acrobat X preferences to "fit page", but this did not change the intial view from email conversion.  I do not have this issue with any other program, but could not find outlook specific setting for this.

Unfortunately this isn't an option that you can change for the PDFMaker within Outlook. Since most email messages are displayed in a 'Fit Width' view by default in Outlook, it's the same for conversions to PDF.
Instead, you may want to consider setting up an Action Wizard to change all of the PDFs in a given location to have the desired setting.
    Launch Acrobat X Pro
Choose the 'Tools' pane, and open Action Wizard.
Within the 'Document Processing' set of actions, you can configure the 'Open Options'.
Setup the folder of PDFs you want to process, adjust the configurable options within the 'Open Options' step to default to 'Fit page'
Run your folder through the Action Wizard.
Let us know how it goes!

  • How do I connect iCloud mail to outlook 2007

I have followed the directions on the website for setting up outlook 2007 to retrieve and send mail through my iCloud account.  I continually receive an error message that outlook cannot connect to the imap server.  How do I fix this?

I have the same problem.  I have also tried various variations listed on other websites (e.g. using "p01-imap.mail.me.com" or "p02-...." instead of "imap.mail.me.com" as the incoming mail server).  None of the variations works either.  I always get the error messages:
"Log onto incoming mail server (IMAP):  Your server unexpectedly terminated the connection...."
    and
"Send test email message:  None of the authentication methods supported by this client are supported by your server."

  • Problem converting Outlook 2007 email to PDF

We have a new problem that recently appeared.  Sometimes when we click on the Adobe PDF tab in Outlook 2007 and select "Convert to Adobe PDF", when we go to open the resulting pdf file, we get the following message "Multiple Files are Bound together in the PDF Package....".  This occurs in Adobe 8.1. Sometimes we don't get the message but when we go to open the file again, we get the message.  We have checked and we have the most current update to Adobe 8.1.  Any ideas what could be causing this behaviour and what can be done to fix it?

    Hi "sjohnstoncpa",
Please clarify the steps you can replicate the problem with. Plus, it would be really nice if you could post a snapshot of the error message. Thanks!

  • Mac Mail and Outlook 2007

    Hi,
Perhaps this has been asked and answered already, but I browsed the forums and couldn't find the answer so my apologies if I missed it.
I recently purchased a PC with Windows 7. I opened up Outlook 2007 and configured my email by typing in my mac mail address and password. I figured that it would just duplicate my email in my mac mail. However, it took all my mac mail and moved it to outlook on my new PC.
I prefer mac mail as I have it sent directly to my iphone for convenience, but I don't mind using Outlook as well.
First of all: Is there a way to get all my mail back to my macbook?
Second: Is there a way I can have the best of both worlds and have Outlook 2007 and Mac Mail sync together?
Thank you for any help or direction on where I can find the answer to my questions.

I've tried everything and still not found a solution too.
I am unable to work remotely.

  • HT4864 unable to convert Outlook 2007 to send or receive email

I have postponed until almost the last moment (June 2012) conversion of my mobile me email address to the iCloud.  Alas, Apple has now forced me to abandon my quite functional MacBook Pro (which won't run Lion and thus is not compatible with iCloud).
But I digress.  I am now relying upon my PC laptop with Windows 7 and Outlook 2007.  I have followed the instructions on the Apple support site and various alternatives suggested on other websites (e.g. use "p01-imap.mail.me.com" or "p02...." instead of "imap.mail.me.com" as the incoming mail server).  However, none of the variations works.  I always get error messages including "Log onto incoming mail server (IMAP):  Your server unexpectedly terminated the connection...." and "Send test email message.  None of the authentication methods supported by this client are supported by your server."
    What else should I try?
Perhaps I should just abandon my iCloud/mobileme/mac.com address?
    Bob

Maybe your firewall is blocking the ports
I would troubleshoot by making a hotmail or gmail account and connect to to see if that works

  • New BT Mail and Outlook 2007

There is probably a simple answer to my problem. I use Outlook 2007 OS Windows 7
Since BT changed their protocol to IMAP the appearance of my emails has also changed. Instead of appearing in Personal Folders>Inbox I have a new folder and have to scroll down to read my incoming mail - I always use a preview pane and my inbox is always on top. When I delete an email in the IMAP folder it remains there (crossed through) Can I change my set up as I now have my old inbox + the inbox in my new folder, not all my folders have migrated to the new folder - it looks a mess
    Solved!

Unfortunately, you will have to delete the account and set it up again to change it back to POP3 though.
Are you sure about that. Can you not set up the same email account as both an IMAP and POP3 account in Outlook. You can in Windows Live Mail. Don't know why you would really want to but you can.
I suppose if you do set it up as both, once the POP one is working OK you could then delete the IMAP one.

  • Trouble with work e-mail using Outlook 2007

I am trying to add a work email to outlook 2007, using web access with a https://company address here/  the company provided me with, I have been googling this for some time and can't seem to find any relevant answer to this. this closest I have found

I would be most grateful if someone could help me with the set up

  • Acrobat 9 Pro and MS Outlook 2007

After installing 9 Pro Extended, the following occured.
I prevent downloading emails > 100 kB, instead from those emails only the headers are shown. I then decide on whether I want to download the attachements. This works great, and worked fine with Adobe 8. However since installing 9, upon explicit download the attachments 'disappear', and the email message is marked as if the content needs to be downloaded from the server. There is nothing left on the server at this time.
The problem is remedied by diabling all Acrobat add-ins in Outlook.
    Any ideas?

Some of what I saw was someone coming to AA9 from AA5. For OFFICE 2007 he had no choice if he wanted the PDF Maker functionality. There is likely an issue, possibly with either AA9 or OFFICE not being updated. Being sure you are up to date is important. Currently AA9 appears to have no updates, only an add-on. However, it may be that OFFICE 2007 has updates, in fact likely. The bottom line is that the complaints did not provide enough information to see if it was an AA9 problem, MS problem, or a user problem. Enough folks seem to have survived the transition successfully, it is a good chance that the latter problem may be the issue in that forum.
The comment on support is not new in concept. That has been a complaint for as long as I can remember with past versions too. I think it was with AA5 that I started coming to the forum, and that was the move that saved me a lot of time and frustration (other than I now spend a lot of time on the forum).
For comments about compatibility, I would search this forum and see what others have had problems with and the solutions that have been suggested. I think you will get a much better feel for the compatibility. Two of the comments on the link praised the software.

  • Problem Sending E-mails with Outlook 2007

We have multiple e-mail addresses here at my office, all on the same server, same domain, etc. 2 users are unable to send e-mails, but can receive just fine. The e-mails they send are showing in the "sent folder"; however the recipient never receives
the e-mail, and there are no error messages! My e-mail, again it's associated with the same domain and server, works just fine, I can send and receive e-mails all day. The ports are correct, the settings are correct, I have checked EVERYTHING! I have even
deleted those 2 e-mail accounts and set them up again as new accounts, and no luck still. PLEASE ADVISE!!!
    Thank you!

What about when using Outlook Web App [OWA] or Outlook in Online Mode? See if they have any anti-virus software components integrated with Outlook, disable them and verify result.
