    The Links provided to you are in English language..Do you see them in any other language? (if yes, screenshot please. )
    OR do you mean you are looking for installer in English language? (If that's the case, then please download the installer using that link, as it is a Multilingual installation package.)
    If i have wrongly interpreted your issue, please revert back with more details.
    Moreover, Can you attach the screenshot of the Acrobat application window, so that we can guide you more accurately?

  • Acrobat XI Standard asking for qualifying product

    I  bought downloaded and installed acrobat XI standard.  Now it tells me that I need a qualifying product what does this mean?

    It means you purchased (or were sold) an upgrade from Acrobat 9 Standard or Acrobat X Standard. Now it wants the serial number from that old product to prove you are eligible for the cheaper price.

  • Looking for batch file to use when setting up Java on an XP machine

    Hey Everyone,
    I am trying to get my hands on a batch file that will effectively :) set up the Java Variables on an XP machine. I don't know if this is even possible but I have to assume that it is. The thing is I am studying for Java Certification at the moment, and every day I am on a different computer at my place of study. I carry a copy of the latest jsdk with me on a flash drive and it would be really handy if I had a batch file that I could run and just be done with the setup! I seem to be wasting at least half an hour a day trying to get java going!!! So any help will be much appreciated. Thanks heaps.
    Regards
    Davo

    assuming the j2sdk install file on disk is installJava.exe, the master setup file (setupJava.bat) would look like this:
    ::java home is the folder in C drive where java's files are
    :: run installation for jsdk and jre
    installJava.exe
    :: set variables
    set javahome=c:\j2sdk1.4.2_03
    path=%path%;c:\javahome\bin
    :: if you add security providers
    path=%path%;c:\javahome\jre\lib\ext
    :: may help with certificate verification
    path=%path%;c:\javahome\jre\lib\security

  • When drop .ps file into Acrobat Distiller message looking for network alias folder. Why?

    Hi,
    Anyone can help on this.
    My system is OSX 10.6.4 on a MacBook Pro.
    I have some window network Alias folders placed on my Desktop, created and placed there from my other office workers for easy excess to their hard disk. Like pick-up files and dropping files off without using emailing.
    My problem is why? when ever I drop a .ps file into the Acrobat Distiller for converting .ps into .pdf file, a similar message asking for all the Alias folders, one at a time, will appear one after another (See attached). The .pdf file will only be converted and appear when all the Alias messages are click "OK" away.
    In the past, I have done the .pdf conversion as mentioned above, no popping messages.
    What must I do so that this kind of message do not appear again.
    Obviously, if I delete all the Alias folders, the messages will not appear but I would rather like to know if I am missing something.
    Help.
    Thanks
    Jack

    It could be that Distiller thinks some fonts are on the server: Check your font settings. It could be a corrupt preference file. It could be a cache problem. You can empty your cache using Applejack or Onyx.

  • Can't convert files to pdf using Acrobat 8 Standard or 9 Pro

    I am having a major problem. I have tried converting both Word 2003 and Excel 2003 documents to pdf using Acrobat 8 Standard (I can't recall which version because I uninstalled and installed a trial version of Acrobat 9 Pro) and Acrobat 9 Pro. I have tried to convert directly from the open document and through Acrobat using create from file. In every instance the process starts and then stops after a few moments. When I try the conversion from within Acrobat, I get the following error message: " Pdf conversion failed, please correct the error and retry." When I try the conversion directly from Word or Excel, the conversion starts, stiops suddenly and gives no error message.  I have had Acrobat 8 Standard installed for a couple of years. It worked fine on this computer until the problem started a week ago or so. There have been no software or hardware changes that woudl trigger suspicion.
    I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the 8 Standard version. I have uninstalled the 8 Standard version and installed the 9 Pro trial version. I have run the repair module on both versions. I'm sure it is something simple but I just can't figure out what the "error" is that I need to "correct". Any suggestions?
    As an aside, I have several Adobe programs (Photoshop CS5, Contribute 3 and Acrobat), all of them expensive. Their business model of offering no unpaid support (even for this type of problem) is one reason I hate Adobe more than Microsoft... but I rant.

    When you uninstalled, you should have used the MS Installer Cleanup utility. It cleans up a lot of the junk left over in the registry. You should have also deleted the Acrobat folder. Then you would reinstall. You did not indicate your OS and it may be that you need to update the AA8 to get it to work correctly. Also, the installs and uninstalls can mess up your registration process if you are not careful. If you uninstall the AA9 trial, you will not be able to reinstall it for use. At this point, I can only suggest you do a repair of your installation and be sure you have all of the updates.

  • Acrobat Standard 6.0 Set as Default Viewer, but Browser is looking for Adobe Reader 8 or 9

    All,
    I use Adobe Acrobat Standard 6.0 for viewing and creating PDF's.  Just a couple of days ago, I tried opening a patent document I found on Google.  The browser displayed the following error:
    "The Adobe Acrobat/Reader that is running can not be used to view PDF files in a Web Browser.  Adobe Acrobat/Reader version 8 or 9 is required.  Please exit and try again."
    So I looked for an update for Adobe Reader and downloaded Adobe Reader 9.1.2.
    The next PDF document that I opened came up in Adobe Reader....NOT Adobe Acrobat.  The installation must have changed the default viewer.  So I right-clicked on the PDF file icon and selected OPEN WITH Adobe Acrobat.  I clicked the checkbox to "Always open with this program..."  This seems to have fixed the default viewer problem, as PDF files now open with Adobe Acrobat Standard...just the way I want things to work.
    I still have the problem of not being able to open many documents within a browser...I think because the browser is looking to open the PDF files in Adobe Reader 9.1.2, NOT Acrobat 6.0.  But Adobe Acrobat is now the default viewer.
    Does Acrobat function independently of Reader?  Or is Reader a module that is required for Acrobat to function properly?  Whatever the case may be, can somebody suggest a fix for this problem?
    Thanks,
    Neal

    They do not require each other for running as mentioned. There are some modules in common and that is where you run into problems. There are issues with the parts that remain resident also. I would suggest you follow the other advice you have been given. Unfortunately, there are some PDFs that may not open correctly in AA6. You may have run into some of those.

    I opened Adobe Acrobate XI Standard to create a form.  I then selected From Template, which took me to Adobe FormsCentral Online.  However, I think the form is an HTML web form.  All I wanted was a regular PDF form that I could email my co-workers for an internal project we're colletively working on.  Now I see that FormsCentral is going away and I can't get my doc to save as a PDF without an upgrade?  Help

    You should be able to log into the online Formscentral Acrobat XI air app and see your doc there. From there you would need to save it out as a PDF without a submit button to have it continue to work past July. If you don't see your online form(s) please let me know the adobeID you use to log into the service as well as the form name that is missing and I will look into it for you.
