The pdf file suffered from directory errors from the hard disk crash. While the pdf file you now have appears to work, it might be a good idea to retrieve the original pdf from a backup.

Apps are forever tied to the Apple ID under which they were purchased. If your friend wants to be able to manage apps on their device using their own Apple ID, they will need to delete all the apps purchased using your Apple ID and buy their own.
Hopefully, you just updated your own Apple ID with the new email and didn't make the mistake of creating a new Apple ID. If you created a new ID, stop using it now, don't buy anything using it and go back and update the ID under which you purchased your apps. -

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

I am on OSX 10.7.5 and recently had to reinstall it due to 'mail' not working correctly. That problem was resolved but now my I can't use the 'right click' function on the apple usb mouse. I only have a previous version re-install disc as I bought the latest OSX off the app store. Any help gratefully received?
Hmmm, no, no drivers needed, now it sounds like a bad install... unless you might have some old Mouse software installed???
If 10.7.0 or later...
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
If that doesn't help Reinstall the OS. -
In 2014, Since I upgraded my OS to Win 7, every time I update Acrobat X Standard I get and error. The problem seems to be with permissions for folders is there a permanent fix??
Is there any indication of the specific folder you are having problems with. Are you logged in as the administrator (or the same as when you installed) and have anti-virus disabled during the update? You might also try the updates from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows.

Hello I hope someone can help as i am very upset my BB10 is not functioning.
I have had this handset 3 months & love it!
I updated the OS and now on 10.1.0.4181... I had to do a memory swipe as handset working fine until update then it would not make or receive calls hence the swipe also cleaned up emails etc.
Now when I come to add the email accounts which it allows but no emails are received.. I keep getting this

Can I get you to manually add the live.co.uk email account by changing the incoming mail server to one of these servers: blu-m.hotmail.com, dub-m.hotmail.com, stn-m.hotmail.com, bay-m.hotmail.com, col-m.hotmail.com or snt-m.hotmail.com.
Then try to add it, let me know if the issue persists.

Just wondering if anyone can help.
We have set up RAS/VPN on our Windows Server 2012 Essentials server. One of our users when trying to log in gets the below error when trying to connect to VPN:
"Error 812: The connection was prevented because of a policy configuration on your RAS/VPN server. Specifically the authentication method used by the server to verify your username and password may not match the authentication method configured in your
connection profile. Please contact the Administrator of the RAS server and notify them of this error."
The domain admin account can log in to VPN fine and any new AD account that I create can log in fine, but just not this particular user account. I checked that this account has "Dial In" access on their user account on AD and on the Anywhere Access
tab on the users properties in Windows server 2012 Essentials Dashboard the "Allow Virtual Private Network (VPN)" is ticked. They are a member of the RA_AllowVPNAccess security group.
I also configured the authentication protocol MS-CHAPv2 on the server and on the client. I also tried to connect using PPTP rather than automatic, with no luck.
I did some searching on the Internet, but virtually all of the resolutions for this issue are related to setup or configuration problems that would result in the VPN either consistently working or not-working. I tried changing a number of the NPS policies,
since the error seemed to point to an NPS issue, but this did not resolve the problem.
I'm buffled why just this user cannot connect to VPN.

It is really a strange issue. I noticed that you have checked “Dial-in” tab of this problematic user properties
in ADUC. Just a confirmation, did you mean that “Allow access” option was checked under Network Access Permission? Or anything I misunderstand?
On current situation, please view the problematic account properties on Dashboard and navigate to
Anywhere Access tab, and please uncheck “Allow Virtual Private Network (VPN)” option and click Apply button. Then please re-check
“Allow Virtual Private Network (VPN)” option and apply again. Any difference?
By the way, did you check the event logs if find any related event or error?

2. What version of the iOS are you running (Settings > About)?
3. Do you use MobileMe/ iCloud or another server based sync solution like Google or Yahoo?
4. Do other changes to synced information like Address Book content sync successfully back and forth?
Based on your description it sounds like you have a 1 way sync issue. Events sync fine between the iOS devices and fine from the computer to the iOS devices but not from the iOS devices to the computer.

My wife had a problem with her iPhone 5C with no voice on the Maps app. I visited my local Apple store and they said the problem was in iCloud. We did a new install and it works great now. if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.

No, sounds like when you dropped it an cracked the screen it may have also damaged the logic board or the repair person damaged a cable.

I’ve recently bought Philips DC390 from Apple Store in Oxford Street. Althouh Philips dock 1 seemed to work properly (charged and player). The second dock isnot compatible with my ipad2. It didn’t work(play),It charges though.

When I open a file from Camera Raw in PS this is smaller than the screen so I double-click with the tool "hand" to fit on the screen, but the picture loses sharpness and becomes blurry. If you magnify the image even only slightly with the tool "zoom" the picture comes back clear. In Camera Raw instead is always sharp. I solve the problem by turning off the graphics card in PS but often use plugin that need the graphics card otherwise the processing time is much longer. I ask for help.
