Acrobat detects non-existant signature fields

I am running Acrobat Pro 11.0.03 from the Cloud subscription producing publications in ID 8.0.1 . After the most recent update to Acrobat I am finding that Acrobat is suddenlty detecting Signature fields in all new PDFs and demanding that my subscribers 'Open Sign Panel' and sign a certificate!!!! There are no forms, fields or certificates in any of the PDFs I am producing. I am at a standstill. My business is totally dependent on publishing documents for subscribers on a daily basis. I cannot find any information on this problem. I am in serious trouble.

Yes. I implemented the registry key fix. It eliminates the problem on my system but does nothing for my subscribers who have recently upgraded Reader (unless they do the same). The problem is fully exposed in the Acrobat Reader thread on this forum (http://forums.adobe.com/message/5329906#5329906). There are voluminous complaints there. There is apparently nothing a publisher of PDF content can do except assure subscribers that nothing is wrong with the PDF, they do not need to respond to the Signature prompt, and oh yes, Adobe will surely fix this promptly.
Lukily, those who have not upgraded Reader since mid-May do not have to experience this. I am recommending that they do not upgrade until it is fixed.

After this has happened, i couldn't even add another configuration to some of my Existing Devices..
(But for Some existing devices, adding a new configuration doesn't throwing errors..)

we found out that there must be at least an element configured on the Seeder Sync Request Master Configuration business object. We are now moving forward to make the service work.
Any working example will be appreciated.

Reader XI, sign a existing signature field

I´m trying to sign a PDF file that have digital signature field.
In Reader 10 when i click in the Sign button, the signature is placed in the signature field that is enabled (visible or invisible field).
In Reader 11 is possible to do this? What i have seen is that i have to double click the field to open the Sign Document dialog box.

I have read the documentation, twice. I am starting to think the documenation was created as a joke. A cruel, cruel joke.
The documenation does not provide a clear enough picture on how to use the JSO bridge, or the setFocus, for that matter, within VBA.
When I try and do jso.getField("fieldname").setFocus() within the VBA script it stops at the line and gives error "Operation Failed"

Exchange Server 2013 SP1 - Readiness Check Failing - Detected Non-existent Exchange 2007 Servers

For development purposes, I needed to install Exchange Server 2013 in our environment. Our current environment includes a couple Domain Controllers, a Sharepoint Server, and a SQL Server. So, it's got a very simple topology. The one thing
our environment does NOT have are current Exchange servers.
During the "Prerequisite Analysis" phase of the install it complained that two servers, that I can find nowhere in our active directory domain, are running Exchange 2007. Obviously, this presents some unique problems. Perhaps as a test
many years ago, someone installed Exchange 2007 to "play" with, but we've never run Exchange for any length of time.
So, this is quite the conundrum, given the above does anyone have any suggestions as to a potential solution? Ideally, I'd like to be able to "lift the covers" and cleanup the references to the non-existent servers somehow, but ANY suggestions
for fixes are MUCH appreciated.

Here is the thing I would do (Only if I am not going to have any exchange 2007 ever in the environment).
On any of windows server 2008 download
Exchange 2010 SP3
Extract the file and run the below command:
Setup.com /ps
This will make Exchange 2013 install. Also Deleting Exchange Administrator Group wouldn't help as Setup will look for the information about schema into AD.

Macbook Pro detects non-existant external monitor.

I've got the old school 1.83 GHz Macbook Pro, and so far have been really lucky not getting all the bugs that people have complained about. Mind you I've had my share of batteries replaced, but all-in-all, I've been pretty satisfied.
That said, recently I've been plagued with an issue in OS X detecting external displays, specifically it detects a display which doesn't exist, and enters mirror mode or expanded desktop mode, whichever I've set it to last. This wouldn't be too big of an issue, but the display it thinks it has attached defaults to 800x600, so mirror mode reduces the resolution on my desktop. Alternatively, when in expanded desktop I lose the mouse and sometimes entire windows to this other monitor. If I "detect displays" sometimes it will go away immediately, sometimes it won't until I try again a few minutes.
I've tried unplugging and taking out the battery and holding down the power button and what-not, but none of the obvious stuff has worked. I don't really know if this is a software issue or a hardware issue. Unfortunately, being that I bought the laptop a year and half ago, and having not bought Apple Care, if it is a hardware issue, I'm pretty much stuck, unless there is some work-around to disable multiple monitors altogether.
Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated, as I'm getting sick of what at first seemed a minor annoyance. Thanks.

since the Display Settings are stored in the Parameter-Ram (PRAM) have you tried a PRAM reset (startup your Mac whilde holding down Command-Option-P-R keys altogether until you heard the startup chime at least 2 times).

Upgraded to Acrobat X and signature field stop working

Upgraded to Acrobat X and IntegriSign signature field stop working. When I open the pdf and click on the signature field I get a "This plug-in is intended for validating signatures signed using earlier versions of Acrobat. To sign using this version of Acrobat, use "IntegriSign for Acrobat 9.0 and later" handler.
Under Perferences in Acrobat, 9.0 and later is checked.
In LiveCycle Designer - IntegriSign is indicated for Signature handler.
Can't figure out how to solve this. I have uninstalled, reset IntegriSign and Adobe settings a trillion times!

How to set a signature field as 'Required' with selection of a Check Box

I have a set of 3 check boxes and would like to set a unique combination of pre-existing signature fields as 'required' for each respective check box.
Given Check Box names of Box1, Box2, Box3 and Signature Field names of Sig1, Sig2, Sig3, can someone provide example JavaScript for setting Sig1 and Sig3 as required upon a Mouse Up of Box 1?
Otherwise, can someone let me know if this might be more trouble than it's worth?

Acrobat Pro XI "Signature field(s) Detected"

How can the "Signature field(s) Detected" reminder be eliminated? This is incredibly annoying -- showing up on bank statements, some credit card reports, journal articles, etc

When filling a Digital Signature field from a mobile app, signature does not show Reader or Acrobat

Scenario :
1. Receiving a pdf form with digital siganture field.
2. Signing form using various pdf apps. " PDF EXPERT for iPad/iPhone"
3. After signing and emailing the document, opening in reader or Acrobat, the signature does not display but the field is gone, as if it was signed.
* Is reader /acrobat requiring a validation that it is not receiving to show the signature?
Did verify that the signature shows in Chrome, using chromes default pdf viewer.

New Feature came in the last update.

I know how to "hide the signature field validity icon" in Acrobat 8 Pro, but just can't seem to find where to do it in Acrobat 6 Standard.

That functionality didn't exist in version 6. I got to tell you though that version 6 is way past its end-of-life and you really should be using a newer version.

Adobe Acrobat Version 9.0 & X are not showing "Clear Signature Field" with Custom e-sign plug-in

We have created Custom PDF signature plug-in using Adobe X SDK.
Earlier we had the same Custom PDF signature plug-in with Adobe 7.0 SDK and it used to show "Clear Signature Field" in context menu of digital signature placed on PDF.
After upgrading the Custom signature plug-in to Adobe X SDK (complied again with SDK X, earlier it used to be 5.0 SDK) to support Acrobat 9, X and XI for digital signature, the "Clear Signature Field" option is appearing in context menu of digital signature box. Even the "Clear Signature Field" option is not shown for the user who has signed the document.
"Clear Signature" option is available for Adobe Default Security signature.
We have not changed anything in our plug-in code apart from recompiling it with Adobe X SDK.
This is a critical issue for us.
Here is the screen-shot from signed PDF having Adobe Default signature as well as our Custom plug-in signature.
Here it clearly shows that "Clear Signature" option is not present in signature placed by Custom plug-in.
Please let us know if anyone else has faced this type of issue earlier and has a resolution.

I am still not getting the Clear signature option for the user who has signed the PDF using Custom PDF Signature plug-in but the same is available for Acrobat Default security signature.
Custom plug-in is compliled with Adobe X SDK and we have not made any code change to hide the Clear Signature option.

Placing a signature field in a PDF in Acrobat X

In Acrobat 9 I could place a signature field into a pdf without converting the PDF into a form. The procedure began with clicking on the Forms tab. I could drag the signature field to a location and a user could click on the signature field and digitally sign the doc. How is this done in Acrobat X? A signature field is a type of form field. If you want to set up the document so that a Reader user can add a digital signature, you should first add a signature field to the document and then Reader-enabled it by selecting: File > Save As > Reader Extended PDF > Enable additional features
To add form fields, select: Tools > Forms > Edit

Signature field disappears in Acrobat X?

I used InDesign CS6 to create a form with two signature fields, among others. When I open the form in Acrobat X, the fields are all there. When I sign the first part of the form and then save it and then reopen the form, all the checked radio buttons are blank and the signature disappears. I was able to get the radio buttons to stay when I sent the PDF to the second signatory, but my signature was not there. They were able to sign on the second signature field and return the PDF to me. The second signature was there, but not the first one. The recipients are using Acrobat Pro for Windows (not sure which version but probably the latest) and I am using a Mac with Acrobat X and InDesign CS6.

Yes, you can create and edit forms with Standard. It won't allow you to add/edit document-level JavaScripts or add the digital signature usage right when Reader-enablinga document, however.

In order for Reader to be able to sign a digital signature field, the document has to have the corresponding usage right applied. Acrobat 7 is not able to apply this usage right. The first version that could is Acrobat 8 Pro.

Create Blank Signature Field in Acrobat 8

The create blank signature field function is no longer available in Acrobat 8.0, as it was in 6.x and 7.x. This was an extremely useful tool to add a quick signature block to a document you needed digitally signed by another party.
Adobe LiveCycle Designer does have the ability to add the field, but that requires additional steps to convert the document to a form when a forms functionality is truly unnecessary for a simple signature capture.
Please, add this capability back to the native Acrobat program. We have hundreds of users who use this functionality daily.

You are right it is not as it used to be in Acrobat 6 and 7, but it is still there!
Go to Tools->Forms, and select the Digital signature tool.
A cross will show up, and you can use t for placing your new and EMPTY signature field
